If you are running a 2-3 view setup ( so seperate views ) and are using Vsync than it is applied as 1/2 refresh rate instead of 100% refreshrate. This is in fullscreen mode, not in Windows mode. Yesterday I upgraded to W1809 and applied the 419.17 driver and saw this issue. Un-reinstalling the Nvidia driver made no difference . For the time being I am using Locked framerate mode in fullscreen mode...

I thought that I would bring a free software tool to the attention of Prepar3D users called CorePrio by Bitsum. The software uses Dynamic Local Mode (DLM) which is Bitsum's implementation of AMD's Dynamic Local Mode. I'm curious if anybody knows what this utility could do other than what P3D already does for seasonal ground textures. The product was released today and claims to change the season based on the system date - P3D already does this. As a matter of fact I'm currently flying from 02G to 03D USA at FL180 in the Vertx DA62 and this takes me almost at the border of seasons. On my right (north) I can see patches of snow covered ground and on my left (south), I can see scattered brown and green patches as I would expect. To maintain IFR proficiency, I'd like to fly a not-too-slow single engine light aircraft in P3D with a G1000 (or G3X Touch) and a GTN-650 Touch in the panel. Not having found any planes with both, I guess the solution is to buy a plane with the G1000 and add the 650, or vice versa. Carendo has a Malibu with the G1000, as well as a 172. Are there other vendors worthy of consideration for this purpose? For the GTN-650, all I've seen for P3D is the one by Reality XP. How smoothly would it integrate? Your thoughts? Thanks!!

I recently installed the free released version of Radar Contact and it works beautifully. I have been able to utilize all aspects of it and interact with it fine. However I cannot get the interaction window to appear in VR. When I switch to native VR, something I am well versed in and have even modified config files to better place all my pop up windows permanently including the default ATC window, I cannot get the window to display. I have searched the forums and tried the upper left corner placement, docked and undocked and all the suggestions on the LM forum but none work. Hi, I got problem with P3dV4. Whenever I start it up it will enter to default flight which is F22 Raptor parking on the sea on the west of Africa. I try to set another flight with my 747-400 and save as default flight. Before saving the flight, I check on Green "Default" check box. The airplane change to 747-400 but it stays on the same place, on the sea, then the plane crash into the water. I don't know how to fix it and google about it. I found no answer about that. Would you please help me? It is annoying. Moreover, I cannot save any of my flight at all. It will be the same, start on the water near Africa.

Not sure if this is a P3D issue or whether I need to make some sort of change - let me explain. I run with an MSI game notebook that is capable of displaying to three monitors - the built in as well as two externals. One issue I have is that the notebook only has one HDMI port which I have always used for P3D and do not have an issue. However I wanted to add a second external display so I use my Mini DisplayPort with a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter where I then connect to my second external. This works perfectly with any other programs I run except for P3D. When I launch P3D it loads but stays minimized in my Task Bar and will not expand to the moni…

I always find it irritating when I'm at CRZ, let's say FL320 and Vatsim/ProjectFly or any other flight tracking shows 32322FT or 31998FT. I know these programs gets there data from the TRUE ASL altitude in the sim. Is there anyway to lock it? So when my aircraft altimeter shows 32000 this is also shown in flight tracking As per real world, I've "heard" the mode C altitude encoder is "fixed" at all time, so it seems real aircrafts displays fluctuations in it's altitude like the sim but gets lock by an encoder to show fix altitude for EG on FR24 32000FT 33000FT 34000FT ETC

I've been messing with the MV-22 Osprey freeware (excellent, for freeware). ATC works fine throughout the IFR flight plan, until I get to the approach phase. It gives me the "X-out, turn, expect vectors" message, and then it starts sending me on bizarre vectors until it finally gives up and terminates my flight plan. Tonight's flight was into KFLL. It vectored me out to about 60nm north of the Bahamas before dropping me. I've only experienced this in the Osprey. Any reason this might be happening?

When I ran AIG AIM earlier today I got a notice... "A new version has been downloaded, please unzip it to your main AIG AIM folder.." or words to that effect... So I did that, and then ran the installer, which upgraded me to v0.8.4.0, but my question is, can I now safely delete the files and folders from v0.8.3.16, which are still present in the folder I created when I first installed AIG AIM....??

I have virtual avionics for pmdg 747 and 777. I am using prepar3d V4.4 I made sure I am on the same network from the Ipad. I am unable to connect at all. I changed the port as mentioned on this forum and updated it in the program 86 but still no luck restarted again no luck. I keep getting a message not able to connect VAInterface .dll please restart VAInterface Done that 30 times did not work Anyone have an idea what to do firewall is allowed the program Thank you Amr Guindy

I installed the Q400 64 bit for P3D v4 into prepared 3d/ simobjects/airplanes folder, I can see it there in that folder, but it does not show up in sim menu. Did I install into wrong place? The installer original was pointing to just the prepared 3d folder not sure if I should have left it that way?

Hello, as my topic already say, I have some problems with dynamic reflections provided by R&D PRESETS via Tomato Shade. I already contact the developers but I didn't receive any answer. My problem is that some parts of several airplanes are not shown correctly. Watching some videos on YouTube told that their stuff MUST work and that the problem must be on my PC but I don't know where. Maybe one of you can help me. To visualize to problem a bit better I just show you a picture: Same problems with the QW 787. There is one of the engines and a lot of knobs on the overhead panel not displayed correctly. Thanks! 🙂

Installed the program and there are AI a/c at each airport however they don't taxi or take off and no I/B traffic showing. Any ideas as to what maybe going on??? Cheers Nelson

Suddenly no addons can locate my P3d V4.4 installation...It seems that there must be a registry entry missing or messed up...Is there a way to "refresh" the registry without completely deleting and reinstalling the program? Thank You very much!

Hello, I've been using Radar contact in the last 10 years and finally looking into purchasing a new ATC program. I have to admit Radar Contact has done a great job - it is rock solid (no CTDs) and always vectors correctly. However, it's time for a refreshing change and I'm also looking for better SID/STAR support. After browsing the forum and checking out YT videos I find Pro ATC the best option. Can anyone comment if the latest Pro ATC version (1.9.x) is solid in terms of correct vectoring? Are CTDs still experienced? As for SID/STARs handling - I'm looking for real-world procedures. How are they handled in Pro-ATC? Can one be vectored initi…

I have a new JETLINE system computer and new MCPPRO2, EFISPRO, COM, NAV and ATC modules that I am trying to get running. These units are daisy chained over Ethernet to the local LAN I have installed the drivers, made the addition to the PMDG 737NGX_Options.ini file, and am able to open FS_COM.
