Has anyone else noticed This? When i create a flight plan in p3dv5 and it asks me if you want to move your aircraft to the departure airport, I click yes, and then it doesn’t actually do it. Minor thing but I’ve been caught clicking through the menu too quick and was surprised to find myself loaded up at the default air base rather than YYZ as expected 🙂

Hello, So, I have persevered. Actually, I was watching aviationlads website and noticed they had a similar spec to my PC, and the results they were getting were outstanding. So, I followed their V5 settings, and tweaked them a bit to my liking. I got to understand all of the options better too whilst at it. Now I have P3DV5 running like Vulkan on XP11, butter smooth! This is with a 35" Acer predator curved widescreen with G-Sync enabled and 100hz. No tearing or stuttering is present now, not even over major cities like Paris or London. My average FPS is around 60-70, drops to about 40 over major cities when I stress test it, to leave room for addons.. DX12, well it…

I just purchased and installed FSUIPC6. On install it asks if you want to install to both P3D v4 and v5 or just one of them. I chose both, however, I had a hunch that my well crafted settings might get wiped out so I made a full backup of my modules folder. FSUIPC6 does start a new fsuipc.ini file so all of your settings are lost. My question is this, can you just copy over and rename your fsuipc5.ini file to both sims and restore your settings?

Just wondering if clouds and sky colours by Rex can still be used or if they will conflict with trueSky or sky textures in v5. Likewise if Envshade can still be used in v5. Thanks

I don't get reshade to work anymore in v5 - even with the usual workarounds applied (disable magicbloom.fx, disable HW acceleration in registry). Reshade V3.x doesn't load up at all, while reshade V4.x causes a black screen followed by artefacts, mouse delays etc: Hopefully we can fix this somehow and find a workaround (once again 🙂 )!

Is there a way to silence that irritating klaxon going off its rocket in FSL Airbuses, the one when the A/P disconnects or aircraft overspeeds? Thanks

Anyone any idea why my FSL A321 A?P keeps disconnecting repeatedly? Not using ASN at the moment. Logitech Extreme 3D joystick. Still on P3Dv4.5. Have to drop nose down to pick up the A/P again.

On many of the videos here, I see GPU usage shown in the red message area of P3D. How do you do this? Thanks Ian

Hi, I get this error when I start up p3dv4. I have a potato computer, but it should be able to run v4. I have reinstalled windows about 3 times now and have replaced the driver countless times, but to no avail. Is this a problem on my PC? or is it a problem with p3d?

So, I went and installed v5 on my gaming desktop. I literally have no scenery installed and when i go to an airport the terrain is all messed up. Grass on the runways, in and out of ditches. I have no idea what is going on. Any ideas? Cheers, Pete

Is there a way to control SODE Jetways via keyboard shortcuts? I updated Justsim's EDDL to v2 in the hope to be able to control the Jetways via Ctrl+J. They introduced SODE based Jetways and the visual docking displays. But I was only able to use it via pulling up the SODE text menu. As I am using it from within my home cockpit on a 180 degree screen, this is annoying. Thanks, Michael

Newark is a very important airport on the East Coast. I use it often. I noticed in P3dv5 that Newark's runways (I tried 4L) turn into grass every 50 feet or so. This is the P3dv5 default KEWR. I wonder how many others there might be. Have any of you seen this, and is there a fix or should I just alert Prepar3d about this anomaly? Stan

Hello! I have noticed recently that neither PMDG birds nor FSLabs buses pick up the frequencies for the above-mentioned runways. I have no duplicated AFCAD, no other sceneries, Navigraph DB is 2001. Meanwhile, it turns out that new KORD runways inherited freqs from old and currently demolished pair of 14/32s. Umberto (as always) denying any FSDT involvement into this issue and I'm too lazy to argue with him as it's been a same old song for the last 15+ years. Please position your PMDG/FSlabs plane at either 28L or 28C, tune up ILS freq and please (pretty please) post a screen of your left PFD. hello i just installed p3d v5 (default + orbx global base for the textures + lc europe), loaded a place I know well in real life and disaster, the mesh is completely broken (i have no mesh addon installed). the screenshots are taken straight over the airport LSGS The river is completely sunken into a huge canyon that doesn't exist in real life, it's just ugly. You can even see the railraod station ending up in the canyon and water leaking on the sides of the canyon in the background . Really reminds me of stuff i saw in the past after applying 1000232342 conflicting tweaks and products but i've never seen something as bad as that with a base install untweak…

There is a magically-elevated roadway (with guard rails) at default Detroit, KDTW, that begins at the hotel next to the McNamara terminal, crosses over ramps, taxiways and runways, and appears to continue south of the airport for many miles. I reported this at the LM forums.

I currently have my sim on a SSD and my orbx on a normal hard drive. But my autogen is really slow at loading in. Do you think if I buy a new ssd to fit both my sim and scenery on it my autogen will load in faster? Thanks

Nothing I've installed so far has caused any elevation issues, but it's bound to show up at some point. I think Pilot's mesh has a similar tool, but I do not use it. What do we use if we do start seeing issues?

Hi everyone! So there's a strange bug I've recently encountered in P3Dv4. I have a bunch of freeware AI traffic installed which has been running just fine, but recently I've noticed that there's suddenly absolutely no traffic at CYYZ (I fly in and out of there quite a bit). There's plenty of traffic in all the other various airports I fly to around the world, but not at this particular airport. I checked AI flight plans as well and Toronto's still a destination for a lot of flights, but I never even hear it being mentioned anymore on the radio that someone's departing to Toronto. Is it possible to get France VFR for P3Dv3 working in P3Dv4? I purchased the Basse Normandie region for P3Dv3, but installation of this made a mess of my autogen at the time, so I uninstalled it and have not used it since.....
