Hi everyone, i am having issues with a number of add on scenery's with large Pink X's dotted around the airport. They seem to be associated with lights and windsocks and i suspected an issue with sode but it appears up to date activated and registered. Does anyone have any suggestions what could be causing the issue? Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi guys, as the topic says....any ideas when we get an update for the F1 GTN750/650 for the use with V5? The latest Version seems 1.81 (I am writing @work and don't have the correct number) and this version is for V 4.5xxx. I don't have access to the F1-GTN-Subforum...dont ask me why...I don't get access the GTN subforum...so I have to ask here at AVSim. Many thx and kind regards dirk

Despite deleting the ADE _FTX_ENG_EGGP.bgl from the relevant Folder, and installing/re-installing Digital Design's Liverpool, it still does not display anything like the real life Liverpool John Lennon airport I know so well, or what it did look like before the OS wipe-clean reformat, re-build. Any ideas? Or is it a complete ditch Orbx FTX-EU-England?

Anyone get their pro flight radio, AP and FIPs working in P3D5? There is no executable on their site to install the plugins and rerunning the P3D4 install does nothing. I looked in the P3D4 directory for any files related to Saitek or logitech and found nothing so the installation routine must be dumping those files somewhere other than the main folder. Anyone have any ideas?

For a while I have wanted a recorder like the old FS Recorder for FSX, or the built in Xplane11 recorder that records flights whether you like them or not, you get to choose if you want to save the recording. I like these recordings because if I have a great flight, especially a VFR, hand flown flight, I like to watch it from all angles, like spot view, wing view and so on. I decided to try Flight Control Replay because it seemed simple, not too many bells and whistles, and given the price around $14 US once converted from Euros, why not? HDR top to bottom: .55 .30 .95

Hello, It appears the Dash 8 uses the Shift-1 combination to bring up the full empty front view. When I do this, I get just the top 2/5's of the forward view, below it is black empty screen. If I hit the Next Panel View (W), I get the full empty view, but this time w/ the analog gauges stretched across the bottom. If I hit W Next Panel one more time I finally get what I'm hoping to, which is the full screen empty unobstructed view. Can anyone guide me on how to eliminate these key presses and get right to what I'm after on the first press? I'm hoping I can edit the panel.cfg file to get straight to the correct panel view by hitting the Shift-1 combination or other w/ …

When I select OMDB my game crashes. Also when I use a payware or freeware OMDB it also crashes. What could be causing this? Today I got an email from Simmarket about LFPO being updated for P3d v5. Upon installing there are no jetways. Just curious if anyone else has had a similar experience and if you were able to fix the issue. Cheers, Pete

When I bought v4.5, I thought it was great. Is v5 $60, or do I get a discount for such a big upgrade? Gaz

P3d version 5 won't let me calibrate the Throttle, Prop and Mixture levers. The levers are erratic. When I go to calibrate them P3d v5 does not recognize them. Switches work fine. They work in P3d v4.5 fine. Are there new drivers for v5. If so I can't find them anywhere. Thank You Bill McCracken

Hello all, I know there are a few ATC addons in the market for p3d. Which one do you think is the best for v4.5? I’m mainly looking for better ATC experience for IFR flying. Thanks in advance for chiming in.

Got the email from simMarket. Downloaded but I haven't installed it yet. I reset my PC for a fresh start. Almost ready to reinstall V5. XP11.50BX installing right now. Steam download is very slow. Says 53days to go.😄 I'll be restarting that! Got my highest 3DMark score yet after the clean start. 13752 😁 best before system cleanup was 13606. I'll have to see what I can do to brake the 14000 mark.🤣

I've just installed DDs SEA and made my first flights. Unfortunately, I get reproducible CTDs when approaching Seattle from NE with a2a C172. Settings are moderate and VRAM is 5.4 / 9.2. Has anyone else already tried to fly with that combination? Until now I've not yet got any CTD, even when flying in ORBX TE GB over London area.

I had a bad install with FSUIPC into P3Dv5 that caused several problems with my install of my ORBX addons. I deleted it and all the ORBX products, reinstalled FSUIPC6, but not any of the ORBX products. Now every time I go to any of the top menu bar tabs in P3D and make any changes to say, OPTIONS, or even just to look at something in any of the tabs, then close the tab window, I get this message. "Prepar 3D has detected non sequential layer ordering with the scenery library list. Would you like Prepar 3D to attempt to repair this issue? Yes No" I say yes every time, but it does not get fixed. Any suggestions?

I finally have most of what was in my v4.5 installed (or features there of) in v5..and it truly is the best performing flight sim, right now on my system For smoothness, it is even beating at at this time, XP11.50B5. That's saying a lot! I have GSX installed, a working weather injector (FSXWX 1.6.1 latest version) that is doing a fine job with TrueSky enabled. These pics have me heading for the active, under FSXWX 1.6.1 (active) and injecting into TrueSky enabled. Looks great, and works like a charm. Guys, i noticed this strange behavior few days ago and this is driving me crazy. W10 and Nvidia were updated less than 24h apart and i don't know which one started the issue, but i managed to revert nvidia driver to two previous version and didn't solve it. Everything is running smoothly, then i minimize P3D (i run it in window mode always), when i maximize it again the FPS drops massively to a point that is absolutely impossible to continue flying. It happens to different aircrafts and sceneries. Tried clean reinstall of P3D and no success. Does anyone have any clue what it might be?

Just wondering if anyone is using one of these cards. I think it has the Keplar CPU 6 GB ram and even though it is DX12 capable it is only to feature set 11.0 and not 12.0. Thanks

While the weather depiction in v5 can be varied using the useful control panel, I haven't been able to see any rain or snow when using Truesky - all I see is increasing levels of fog even when stationary. While the legacy version provides over-done particle effects, is it possible for Truesky to render anything other than fog?

Looking to get my Goflight MCP up for P3dv5 QW787. Anyone get it to work yet? I know GF is not currently working on items until Quar is done. The Program sees P3DV5 and has the green light, just does not light up or work.

Hi again. Today i made a "find" that makes me a bit curious of the mechanic and reason behind this "feature", wherever it has its offspring. In the folder AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\SimObjects i have all the folders from payware airports that i have in my v4 install. How did this happen? They are all empty but still, why are they there in v5? I dont have them installed and never had (in v5). I can not really think of a way how this happened and even less a reason why this would happens. Any ideas? SODE maybe?

Greetings all I don't post very often & I'm sure this is a simple problem, but I just upgraded to v4.5 (I know 5 is out, but there was a reason I chose 4.5 - specific study-level plane that I needed to practice with that wasn't v5 compatible and time was a factor. For the life of me, I cannot get AS Cities Buffalo to show up in the sim. Did Cleveland & Boston no problem, Buffalo will simply not do it. I used the installer, it has the same path as the other AS cities - it just doesn't appear - or I should say, appear fully. It looks like there are some buildings (smaller ones) that are there? so I even verified the scenery settings like mesh, textur…
