Grand Caravan for FSX

I am having an issue with the Cargo Caravan in all repaints. The only add-on repaint is the fed ex feeder the other 2 came with the download. When I pick and exterior view at Orbx PNW add-on Concrete, Orbx PFJ Annette island, and at Tongass Fjords X Sitka all my menu lettering gets washed out as well as ATC box. The scenery gets blurry and dull to. I do not have any issue with the passenger Caravan or any other of the many add-on aircraft I have. I have asked for help on the Orbx forum but since it is happening at different add-on sceneries and only with the Cargo Caravan it must be that airplane. I anticipated the release of this Version and immediately bought when I saw it was released.Installed it and fired FSX up and loaded the Cargomaster. I thought I did something wrong with the install and reinstalled. The VC is incomplete. Part of the Pilot's seat is missing and the whole pedastil. See screenshots. Then I fired up the passenger version and low and behold nor probs there.I found that the doors issue is still not fixed. I can only open the pilot's door. the pop up window does not work for me either.Paying 10 $US for this is not acceptable. I would not be as peeved if it would have been a free upgrade.I appreciate your help in this matter. Thanks.

While I have been enjoying whizzing about in this little gem, I have a query regarding the GPS. Is there any way to delete a waypoint? Say I have aflight plan from A to B and on the descent to B select an approach proc, the GPS adds all the waypoints on after the entry for B. This is making me overfly my arrival, then turn back to catch the approach points. is there any way to get rid of the B entry and continue down descent to catch the correct approach?Hopefully (for me) I am not being stupid and missing the obvious!!Having got to grips with the finals technique of not removing power until just about touchdown, I find this Carenado release to be just about as satisfying…

When a patch or update is done for the Super Cargomaster one of the items that needs to be corrected is the USA flag on the starboard side of the vertical stabilizer on the FEDEX model.The blue field needs to face forward. The port side is correct.It is easy to correct if you want to take the time and do it on an individual basis and have the skills to do it. But it needs to be corrected.Now I need to find the N number for one of the planes that flies to Tallahassee, FL.Russ

Where are the other liveries for the supercargomaster? Fedex and DHL I have seen screenshots of but only see 2 generic paints in my fsx menu

Graphics and sounds of the Carenado Grand Caravan are great, but unfortunately I still have severe problems with its flight performance, even after installing the service pack. I will try to explain my problems in the following:I have FSX Acceleration and already reinstalled the Caravan package including the service pack several times (verifing that before reinstalling all existing files of the previous installation have been successfully removed). I load the FSX default flight with the standard Cessna 172, engines off, then I load the Caravan. After installing the patch for the 208, I can't get anything to work in the VC, nothing is click-able anymore. I have un-installed the airplane and re-installed it without the patch and still no luck, it seems like the installer is skipping over adding some gauges or something. I am using EZCA also, but it doesn't do it in any other planes.Help please, I am getting very frustrated

I'd like to have a saved configuration with no cargo pod, and no 3d knobs.Right now, I have to select these options at the beginning of each flight..Is there any way to save these settings and make them stick?This is how I currently have the panel configured..

Is there a way to save the settings you selected (seats, windscreen, knobs) or do you have to select them each time.

Just like in the Bonanza before it, Carenado's KFC150 autopilot has the peculiar "feature"of resetting the heading bug on the HSI when the HDG button is pushed.If this bothers you enough.. you can fix this easily by changing the code in the autopilot.xml file.Change: AP_HDG_HOLD to AP_PANEL_HEADING_HOLD.Also, if you like the KFS150 to light up an "AP" indicator as well as the little red light, you can copy the "AP" off the "AP_APRON.bmp" indicator with a Paint program and paste it on the "AP_ON.bmp" picture. :(

The suppled pdf on the weather radar is a bit sketchy. I cannot get it to work, I'm using FSX with REX, any tips for using the weather radar please?

Just got the caravan, bought it from Flight one, please be aware that it seems that the flight one purchases are not the updated exe and you may need to download the service pack.So, just done a couple of flights and I'm impressed, a couple of questions however. 1. I have the gps on a seperate monitor, I've tried to resize it and can get the resize handleson the left side of the unit and can make it wider, I cant seem to make it taller though!!2. is there a way to zoom in/out on the gps map as in the garmin on the fsx default caravan?les

Anyway, with the release of FSDT's Hawaii, I really needed something realistic/current for island hopping.Anyway, I love the plane. great job!I have read that there had been a patch and a FDE update. Seems like everytime I load the A/C it ends up sitting on it's tail. I have changed the payload but the results are the same. Any suggestions?

Was wihsing I could do a flight from YBBN-YPMQ today in the 208B, but the FDE won't let me, as soon as I take my hand off the stick, it begins to do a steep turn to the left, I dont want to be holding my joystick for a hours, so unfortanetly my night in Australia is runied. Guess ill be flying for BAV instead :)But seriously, Ive calibrated my JS but it still doesnt fix it, anybody else experience this?

Anyone else getting random CTD's when loading this plane? It gets frustrating having to restart FSX 3 times to finally get it loaded right.

Hi,I usually don't have a problem with landings, but I can't seem to avoid bouncing while landing the Caravan. Is it all me or is there a .cfg edit I can make to reduce the bounces ?Thanks,Jack

I've tried a couple of different places, but the HSI won't recognise any VOR or LOC, The autopilot descends through the set altitude, yet levels out fine when ascending. With the radio NAV mode not functioning, selection of APP doesn't have any effect either.What needs changing to get these basic IFR instruments to function properly? (At all)Cheers
