This aircraft used to be owned by Jeno Paulucci (maker of Totinos and jeno's pizza rolls)The aircraft is a local at the airport where I work. They now use it for camping trips/fishing trips up to Canada and such. It's not a 208B, and they do have it with floats sometimes, but I'd love to have the paint scheme if possible...Photo:Photo I took (more recent without the logos on tail)

This Caravan is nice but if you are having problems with the <speed> it may be that the SPOILER is activated.Yes indeed, the Caravan 208B has a spoiler. In this Carenado model however, it is on by default (it seems). Note that it may depend onif you have a key defined for the Spoilers. Also you have no VISUAL clues that it is activated: no visuals in the VC or outside (look at far end of the wings). What you will feel however is that when you turn the Spoiler off (whatever the key it is set to) you will get your speed OK.Pierrenote: any quality control out there?

I understand you can "switch off" the cargo pod on these aircraft, change the seating arrangement and remove the window tint if you want? Is that correct, and if so, where does it tell you how to do all this? I've looked for the usual Readme file but have only found the aircraft/avionics manuals and checklists. Can someone please clue me in on this? Many thanks!

My two cents I have had a few flights now and found as others have to that you need to work the trim a lot when setting up and approch. I have found that the speed has comes off real fast when you pull the power to the stop this is a good thing as the way i fly and where i fly has heaps of trees. with the default 208 it does not like to slow down so its not good for short stuff like lester state this was one of the first tests i gave the aircraft and it passed with gold stars.Things i like are sounds when in beta pitch is great. The overall look of the aircraft frame rates are good i also like the flight model.I would like some others to see a cargo master version.Great j…

So far liking the Caravan quite a bit. But, some things that I noticed: No Cruise Power Tables? Refernce to them on Page 7 of the checklists - but have not found. Engine seems sluggish and poor at even mildly warm temps (mentioned elsewhere) and low altitudes . Maybe Power Tables would prove this a true trait?? Would love to see ability to only turn off 3D knobs for the GPS only, currently all or none for whole cockpit. Disappointed with the still lack of ability to modify the radio stack and add a GNS530 (unless you ditch the radar or squeeze it). No regrets at all, but hope some or all of these would be addressed.Joe

Hi there i just tried purchasing the 208, got it in the shopping bag, then when i proceed to checkout it comes up with a page that says delete your cookies and try again. I did so and tried again but no dice, any ideas?

I have been a Carenado customer from the gitgo. This A/C is the best ever. The grahics are outstanding and the flight characteristics are the best. I know that down the road we will see a cargo and probably and ampib version, but as of now I need to go flying some more.RS Churchill

The gauge lighting is very strange. During the twilight period only the "spotlights" come on but the gauges stay dark, which looks very, very odd. Only when it's getting really dark outside do the gauges actually change to their lit counterparts. I think they should change to the lit status as soon as the spotlighs come on:
