Grand Caravan for FSX

Haven't flown the C208B, in a while, but when I attempt a pushback with GSX I get an immediate tail slam, then the aircraft stays in the nose high position. Wondering is anyone else has experienced this? Thanks..

Hello All --- well I finally got around to testing the door/exit manager panel in the Caravan, and mine does not work as one would expect.No matter what door I try to operate, only the pilot's door works.....hmmmm. What may I be doing wrong or did I miss in the setup??I have the service pack installed. Many Thanks --- Bob :(

Hey Folks, Had a request on how to successfully add the GPS 2020 to replace the default Carenado GPS unit in the C208B (Steam Gauges). First thing to do is to download the GPS 2020 unit, and the link below is to the current v12.4 in the AVSIM library. https://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=219150 Once downloaded open the zip archive and copy the GPS2020.cab into the P3D Gauges folder, that way it's going to be available for any aircraft. Next, and since the Panel.cfg will need editing, get youself a nice Text Editor like Notepad++, a Google search will help in finding. Hello Pilots =) I am a little bit disappointed. I bought the Aircraft yesterday from Aerosoft and installed it. First that i saw - i had to Download Version 1.0 1. Is there no Update for the C208? I got the normal Cockpit Version and not the Version with G1000 So i startet a Flight, working the Checklist. Until Departure everything works fine for me. Now i´m going in the Runway, set the T/O Power and at 70kts i rotate the Airplane. Until this Point everything is O.K. After Lift-Off - the Airplane doesn´t get Speed. I can only climb with 300 ft/min at 70kts, Climb Speed according to the Checklist is 90 Kts. Even if i Level off, i can´t gain Speed. It Hol…

Hello I recently got the Grand Caravan from Caronado for FSX: Steam Edition. However when booting up each model its only the Glass Cockpit version. I'd prefer to fly with the older default view with the analog dials and whatnot. I can't seem to find how to change the view or whatnot. Tried contacting Caranado themselves and haven't heard from them. What can I do? Or am I stuck with the Glass Cockpit version?

Hi. I've got the G1000 Grand Caravan. All works fine except that when I try to load passengers or cargo via the FSX Aircraft - Fuel & Payload menu, the plane settles down on it's suspension and then immediately rises again. When I look again in the menus it is once again an empty plane. Any help would be appreciated Steven Jarman

So I was looking for the Bernt Stolle Fde and cab files for the caravan. They seem to have been removed from the carenado updates section on the website? i see there is a version for the fsx default caravan on the web, but this does not include the cab file changes that Bernt made to the gauges to remove the hidden spoiler effect. Anyone have the fde package that they could upload or share? thanks glenn

Hello, I have problem with my C208, after going to v4.1 the ADF and squawk are inop. The ADF is little bit blurry, I can't click nothing on it, the squawk seems to be OK (visually) but I can't change the code. What is wrong? Everything else seems to work just fine...

Hi everyone, I do enjoy the plane but with one issue. The alt Sel knob does nothing. I mean it turns aqua and spins in the direction that i am turning it,. But, there is no input to the airplane or the display. I have to hand fly to altitude. Then I can hit the ALT button and it will level off at the nearest hundred. But, I can not adjust the altitude without once again taking off ALT and hand flying or hit the VS button and then select a climb speed. Is this normal? I have the FSX Steam version of 208EX.. I have uninstalled and reinstalled.

What are you guys using because the stock 430 is terrible to work with for me.

I have C208B Super cargomaster for P3d v4. Are there any mods or improvements for this aircraft in P3D v4? I know there's stuff for it but most of the posts are old and I don't know what applies for the latest version. I'm interested in improved FDE, HQ VC textures, F1GTN or F1GNS mod, sound improvements, or whatever makes this plane better in any way. I just started using Air Hauler 2 and I think this plane is perfect to start with. It's just a bit old and I'd like to pimp it up a bit if that's possible. Any help would be appreciated!

is it me or does the landing light and taxi light on the HD series look better than the EX? It actually illuminates.

Caravan 208 EX shift3 keys should bring up the autopilot window. NO WINDOW. Have to work autopilot in the Virtual cockpit. Any thoughts.

Hi Caravan followers, I´ve observe that when im put A/P ON, the nose of the plane go to 15°-17° of pitch, around 800-1000 feet per minute of V/S and IAS decrease... im use the Bernt Stole FDE. Why the plane not fly under 10° pitch of nose?

Hi. All of my available variations in FSX have the cargo pod. I see many pics without it...What am I doing wrong?

My C208 is hardly to taxing in sceneries like Flytampa, Paulo Ricardo and others with modeled ground when the aircraft not on runway... like the parkings, tarmac and taxiways. I´ve installed the lua fricction and all planes was good, except C208. Anyone have similar trouble?

Has anyone done a panel.cfg file for the Grand Caravan for FSX with the ISG gauges?

I've been flying the 208 a lot recently and while I like the glass cockpit, it doesn't seem realistic for the bush flying I do in that aircraft. If possible I'd like to be able to switch easily between an older analog panel and the glass cockpit depending on what type of flight I want to make. Is there a simple way to handle this? Where can I even find a compatible analog virtual cockpit for the EX (and how would I install it/use it)? I'd like to avoid buying an older product just to get my hands on a different panel.
