Since my last message i have narrowed down my problem.When i select 737 700 an go direct to flyinging with engine running all gauges work ok . when i start a flight with the default cessna turn off mixture magnetos and start switch select new aircraft 737 700 start flight from cold start that is when my gauges r corrupted can any one help please..........regards robin

The Manual states that "regardless of whether you actually engage VNAV or not the FMC still calculates the vertical profile and when you cross into the descent portion of the profile it activates a path indicator on the side of the navigation display"I'm flying at 20,000 ft over Valencia (In Spain) bound for London, Heathrow and nowhere near the descent point.However the Vertical Profile had suddenly appeared (VNAV is inactive)with the indicator at the top and showing a figure of about 4400. Hey everyone whats up?I finally upgraded my 737 to the 800/900 and i think its fantastic! I am having a problem with it though. The VNAV speeds wont set and the aircraft thinks it should have a really low airspeed in the climb, and it wont set an airspeed in cruise either. Before i say anymore i will say that i did a search through the forums and found alot of similar questions.. but not exactly what im lookin for.Im used to using the old version when programming the fmc. So when i get in the 800 with the new panel, i set up my flight, put in the weight, routing waypoints, just like i used to in the old version. Last night flying on VATSIM I was trying to land on Rnwy 4R at KDTW. It was an instrument landing due to foul weather - couldn't see 1 mile ahead. I was flying the PMDG 737 NG and had my radio tuned to the ILS approach freq. for KDTW 4R (110.7) - which, by the way, works fine for the default Boeing 737 from MSFS. My ILS would not register an intercept of this frequency. I recieved DME info and rnwy designator, but no action on the glide slope or localizer. I am confused by this. The 737NG reacted to runway 3R ILS (111.5) but not Runway 4R (110.7). Any suggestions would be appreciated. ATC was a bit rattled as was I - in real life I would have diverted to another runway, o…

:-wave I have purchased PMDG1900D. What is the best setting to be able to read the gagues? Do have anthing like the 737 that shows all the gauges so you can print it out.I have XP Profesional display set at 1024x768 32 bit. At that setting it is almost inpossible to see waht the gauges are.

I'm having problems activating the autothrottle. Can anyone help? The Autothrottle switch when stay in the active position; the green light illuminates and then turns off immediately when the switch returns to the down position.Any help is gratefully appreciated.Thanks.Chris COle

Hi JohnI know you are flat out with repainting the 767, but is there any chance that one day you might get around to putting out an Air New Zealand livery for the PMDG737-800 with winglets. Fictious I know, but it would look really good. I recall that you also did one for the 737-700 earlier but I cannot locate it on the PMDG site, the version in the Avsim library has been there for some time. I am sure its for the ealier version of the 737-700 which needed updating.BTW the LOTR version on the 76 was stunning.

Having just purchased this aircraft I am very happy with it. Though I am having a problem with it in the VC & dont know if it's on my end or because it's an "express" series.The gauges in VC view are very "jerky" and not smooth at all. As nice as it looks, I can't fly it this way. It's like the refresh rate of the gauges is very slow. I do have the SP 1 udated for it. Is this something on my end maybe? System specs: P4 2.4 GHZ, Intel 845GEBV2 mobo, GF 3 Ti 200 VC running 56.56 drivers, SB Live! 5.1 sound card.I have all the latest drivers for my mob, bios, & sound card.Any ideas?ThanksJim

Today was a day for sorrow flight 1783 to KLAX crashed today 27 minutes into the flight at 7:22AM (PT) @ FL220 DUE to over stress i was lucky to get out of it but 127 people did not make it. I tried everything i could but weather problems kept causing my plane to overspeed by 127 KNTS one minute i would me cruising @ MACH 7.2 then all of a sudden i guess a sudden gust of wind took me from MACH .72 to .84 In the blink of an eye can someone please please please tell me what the problem is. This only happens when i put the weather on.(the built in weather)This has been a problem in the past but this has been the first time that it has caused me to crash (overstress)Please he…

After several months of flying PMDG 737-600/900, I now have a problem with none of them loading. I installed (cut and paste) wing & engine views into the 2D panels 700 and 800, which was downloaded from AVSIM. Now when I try to load any of the 737s I get an error message to send to MS during scenery installation. FS9 then reboots. I tried loading with 2D only and VC mode but have error message. The AIRAC Data does load ok. I never had a problem until I edited my PMDG panel.cfg to add these views. Did that corrupt another file (air.cfg?) I have gone back and deleted the added views but still the aircraft will not load. All other planes will load with no problem. …

Hello,I have a little problem with the speed during a Vnav Path descent.The flight is from LFPG to LFST and the aircraft is the 737-600.About 30 miles from de T/D I program the STAR and I insert speed and altitude constraints in the FMC (just one : ANDLO 220/5500)During all the descent I have a tail wind of 270/25.So I insert in the Forecast page (before the T/D): 10000 fts 270/60 to avoid a "over speed disconnect".But during the descent speed increases nevertheless and I have to use the spoilers at 10000 fts.Do you have other councils to avoid a vnav disconnect ?Or there is no other solutions that use of speed brake ? OK, just learning the FMC with the PDMG 737-600/700 I want to create my own flight plan using FSNavigator for Manchester EGCC to London Heathrow EGLL. I have done this and let FSNav create the waypoints for me. I also have the export module from FSNav to PMDG and have exported the flightplan out to PMDG. My question is how do I calculate the altitude that I want to fly the plane? Would you fly the 737 on a flight that distance at FL300? Is there a formula based on your climb speed and nM from Airport A to Airport B to give you your cruise altitude? And what about any of the other misc items that require inputting into the FMC? If someone could create a flight plan for the…

Hi, I have recently had a problem across all the PMDG 737 variants where the "2D cockpit only" aircraft are showing a Virtual cockpit option when views are cycled using the fs2004 "S" key!!!The virtual cockpit screen shows a full screen outside view - in the "2d only mode" I'm *sure* I was not getting to see this before, as by selecting 2D, I'm "saying", virtual cockpit is not wanted. I hope someone can advise what i should modify to resolve this matter which is ruining an otherwise great product, as I cannot find any answers on FAQs or newsgroups. Thanks in anticipation!Graham

I've got a problem now that I'm flying the 737-800 on flights over 2 hours. Seems that everything is great until I'm on final and then my CH Yoke goes numb -- doesn't work at all. Didn't happen on my first few flights of under 90 minutes but for my last 3 flights the yoke went dark and didn't work at all on landing. Needless to say, this kind of spoils the entire day/evening when you can't even land the thing. I'm using XP-Home(SP2) and have downloaded the CH Yoke Control Manager 3.6 and calibrated it also. Anyone who can help I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks.

I am having a bit of a strange problem with the sound on my PMDG 737 800.I just installed PMDG on a new system. The connector for my speakers work fine but when I plug my headset in the sound in my speakers goes off. Now I know this is supposed to happen so I changed the position of the jacks on the back of the system so that the sound will still be heard from the speakers and the headphones and mike set.This works fine with all aircraft with the exception of PMDG. If I load any other aircraft then I get sound in both but if I load PMDG I only get sound from my speakers or my Headset but not both.The strange thing is, The only sound I can not here is the engine sounds.
