I cannot seem to change the EFIS type to EFIS/MAP. I'm flying with 737 v1.3 and 800/900 Update 1.I load the PMDG C&D flight. I then load the SWA 700 w/winglets. I verify in the PMDG Styles menu that Southwest Airlines uses EFIS/MAP. Hi folks,For those who are interested, I've uploaded a number of Virgin Blue paints to the Avsim file library. I've updated the 700 through 800s. The 700s have been updated with details that the -800s had. They're all one standard colour through out the fleet now.I've added some new registrations to the -800s and also completed 2 new Pacific Blue liveries. One that operates for Pacific Blue and the other that operates for Virgin Blue.They've got some new little details added. I know that the download version of PMDG 737NG 800/900 requires the737NG 600/700 product. But I think I have read that it's different with the boxed 800/900 version. Is this correct or am I mistaken?If correct what would I miss by not buying orginal 600/700?How do the 600/700 plane differ from the 800/900?What kind of printed documentation is included in the boxed versions of these products and what documentation is only in the form of files on the CD?RegardsJan Friberg

Hi,My system is as follows:AMD 64 3200+ASUS KN8-E DeluxeX800 XT 256Mb Vivo Edition1gb Geil PC3200Now, all my other addons run smoothly but for some reason my PMDG 6/700 runs with a stutter. When i pan in the VC it stutters, when i am outside, it stutter. I've tried the CS 707, POSKY 767 and 757 and no problems. Any ideas, because in theory it should run fluidly on this system.

Hi I have the boxed version of the 737-600/700 and have been looking forward to the boxed version of the 800/900 so i brought it today , the 800/900 loads up fine but now i cant load up the 600/700 .. the panel is just dark as if theres no electric and i cant click on the M Z A etc puttons , it looks like its using the panel to the 800/900 . any ideas ? Hi PMDG, this is a very good aircraft with a nice smooth vc gauge update, and i have two questions for you: please can you tell me if this model in level flight normally indicates a 5 degree up attitude and also are the landing gear wheels always visible from below when retracted?Thanks,David

I had some great flights last night. Until I tried a FDX feeder. I had shut everything down at the end of the last flight and when I started everything up again there were no gauges. None on any of the subpanels or the main panel. I tried reloading the aircraft and that didn't work. I switched over to the 3D model and that worked, so I switched back to the 2D model. The gauges were there on the main panel but when I opened the radio panel and then the GPS panel, no gauges. That's when I gave up and switched to the 3D model. Any Ideas? Regards,Kris Goodrich

I do not see any landing lights, strobe, or beacon on the BE1900C. The taxi and nav lights work though.David

I own the full pmdg 737 packages and thought I would try out the pss a330/a340 for long hauls and boy was I not pleased. I really appreciate pmdg more now. The framerate on pss isn't as good plus the sim model is no comparison pretty much every phase of the package wasn't near the quality of pmdg. So many dissapointing things about this product im selling it and waiting for the pmdg 747 for long hauls.

I just bought the 1900C and it's my first PMDG and I'm impressed. I love the Express concept (though I wouldn't mind seeing two versions down the line, and Express and Full for when we want to take that next step).Anyway, I installed everything and it seemed to go well except that I have absolutely no virtual cockpit. I have heard a lot about "lifting the bar" lately, but this unpretentious little aircraft (the 1900C) actually does lift the bar in the VC. These gauges really are smooth!Don't know how you did it but my hat's off to you. If this is a sneak peak at the 747 VC then - get on with it - please :-walksmile Top Job People!

Maybe someone can answer this question for me. Is the Dome light knob,located directly above the Panel lights knob in the center of the overhead panel, supposed to switch to the on position, like the panel lights knob, for more light in the cockpit during night operations. I'm unable to activate it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I fly near clouds (not nececerilly in them or even very close) and have the probe heat on the airspeed indicator freezes up. I think I was able to prevent the problem by putting on the anit ice before entering clouds, but I cant see why The indicator would freeze up even before entering any clouds or going within 5000 feet of the clouds. I am using active sky and have a registered version of fsuipc. Thank you in advance.

I take it the old retrofit file won't work with the new Beechcraft?Would be nice if someone could make a panel cfg that integrates the Jetline 2, the 530 garmin and the weather radar into the new panel.ricardo

Hello, Captains,All of a sudden, SCEL (Santiago, Chile), is no longer there...I have the flight SCEL/SAEZ saved in the flight planner;It is there in the FMC, under Flight Plans;When loading, however, I get an error: "NOT IN DATABASE" - "PROGRAM ERROR".I have updated the SID/STARS, and the procedures for SCEL are listed.What could have happened?Help... Hi Mats (or anybody else who cares to help me and is reading this),This is a stupid question and the answer is probably hidden in one of the topics of this forum, but my search for an answer before bothering you guys with another post was unsuccessful (it returned too many darn topics). So here it is: I had ot reinstall FS9 and right after I did that I reinstalled the 737s (all updates etc). However I forgot to reinstall the MSFS9 update available form Microsoft's website and I have a hunch I should've installe it prior to installing the PMDG aircraft. So is it okay to install the update now after I have already installed the 737s or is there another order I have to follo…

Is the best/only way of doing a complete reinstall of PMDG to first install the original PMDG Next Generation (zipped) followed by the PMDG Next Generation 800-900 (zipped)? Or can I simply install the 800-900? In the back of my mind I seem to remember that you had to install one, and then the other - but it's been awhile. I'm doing this because I had to completely delete FS9 due to a config problem that MS and I couldn't figure out. Thanks!
