Hello, I recently bought the PMDG 737, which is already installed. Once I do all the uploading proccess to load different airlines by using the livery manager, it does not work (In fact on the livery manager I can see to airlines on the installed liveries box), but under simobjects/airplanes, there is not the cfg file for the airlines. Also, on the livery manager the clickable boxes that say select livery to install and the removed selected liveries, the writing is blurry. I do not know what to do about this. Could you please advise? Could it be that the livery manager is corrupted

After a recent problem with a bit of software, I had to do a complete format and reinstall of my PC and FSX. I thought about taking the plunge and going for P3D, but after paying for the PMDG777 in FSX it kind of stopped me. Not that this is a problem, I have grown up with FSX, gone through the teething stage, learnt where to kick it to get it running right and when not to. Sort of like the car that has trouble to start, breaks down and looks a state, but is still part of the family and has it's own name. Hi. Amongst myself, as the FSX world has more and more MPDG users, I've been deciding what aircraft to... invest in. This has really been bugging me. I see a bunch of videos with the NGX, and they look awesome! Then I see videos of the 777, and they look awesome too! Hi, Lately i have come by some new procedures that i am not so familar with. Can anyone light up these for me ? Thanks in advance 1. Its time to take that plunge and take my FS to the next level with a weather add-on/texture package, something i have put off for a long time. Seems like both products have their pros and cons, and both have new products that seem pretty advanced and easy to work with. Given that exclusively fly PMDG birds, thought I would ask you lot for your thoughts and recommendations on which is better. Cheers John E.

This is more a curiosity question then anything else. When the PMDG 777 was released, one of the big selling points was the weather link with the Active Sky file. At the time Active Sky was unique with being able to export the file in the format that the PMDG 777 needed and as such was the weather program of choice. Since then I am assuming that some of the other weather programs have added this feature, if not, if you own PFPX you can create a file with that from any weather engine you like, including PFPX's own weather servers. Captains, We are essentially finished with work on the SP1 update for the PMDG 777-200LR/F, but we are not yet happy with it on the Quality Control side, so it remains in testing for the moment. We are chasing down a few behaviors in the fly-by-wire system that we do not like, researching a few reports of unexpected problems that our beta testers have identified, and generally going through the normal process to verify all the changes we have made. We have added almost a dozen completely new features to the airplane, one of those features is a simulation of the operational FMC datalink for performance, weather forecast along route, alternate data, etc. (But we’…

Recently I had to do a clean install of FSX after having had to reset my computer to factory settings. Naturally, installing all the scenery files took the most time as most of those have to be done manually, followed by installing the liveries for the 737NGX. This made me wonder whether I may have too many liveries for what is my favourite plane, compared to one for the 777, one for the Jetstream and five for the 747 400X. That made me wonder whether I am nuts, which made me wonder how many liveries other users of the 737NGX have installed, and have you used all of them, or are there a few on there for just in case?

It's been months since I have been able to get on the webpage. I can't even install pmdg a/c because of it I think. The installer shuts down at the point that the online validation starts.Anyone else have this problem?

Hi all, With the, what I feel, is and imminent release of the SP1 for the 777, I though I would ask the question of what people prefer. Anybody who has written any sort of software, even like me, basic on a ZX Spectrum, knows that some errors bypass the testing stage. Add to that little new idea's that you want to add or new techniques you learn cause you to have updates. Now some add-ons seem to have constant little updates and even updates on updates. such as GSX which seems to update everytime I load up FSX. PMDG seems to like the 'release the software, then one great big update' route, which of course seems like it takes forever. So the question, which…

Hi Captains, i'd like to replace my old HOTAS with something more solid and precise. (FSX/P3D soon) Does anything speak against the Warthog HOTAS? Any known limitation regarding PMDG aircraft or incompatibilies? As this hardware hasn't z-axis i'll have to look for a pedal solution :unsure: , too. Do you have any suggestion for me? Captains, after a lot of contemplation, seeing how inferior my previous laptop was for simple entertainment purposes let alone, simming. I went ahead and bought a new laptop in the hope tht it would be a better buy than my previous laptop,here are the specs: [email protected] upto 3.20ghz 8gb ddr3 ram 2gb nvidia gt 740m graphics card 8gb ssd 1tb hard drive windows 8.1 :( the laptop sounds very appealing, and it really is.But now running FSX i feel it is no better than my previous one,in some cases worse.I have installed fsx acceleration, and with the stalk aircraft at leipzig(aerosoft) my fps fluctuate from the mid twenties to low teens,horrendous and unplay…

How do I open the cargo doors on the 737NGX in order to use GSX Ground handling? It seems that I can only open the passenger doors from the FMC list.

Hi Hope you well, I have problem in my landing light illumination on the runway, in the night on the ground, the landing lights is nearly seems to be OFF when its ON ( very dimm lights on the ground for ). I use REX4 for the textures. Also I have check the box of light on the ground illumination inside FSX settings. Please is there any fix for this problem, or any realistic effect that compensate that problem !!!!!! !!!!!!! Thx. .

After a long while, yesterday I Took the Queen out for a spin to find out that no matter which airport IVAO code I select, I always receive the NOT IN DATA BASE error. Few things that you guys need to know: 1- This is occurring, even if I'm not sure if there is any correlation, after the installation of the T7. 2- On the INIT page the FMC correctly sees the 1407 AIRAC. 3- I immediately loaded the NGX and T7 and in both aircrafts I'm able to use the FMC without errors. 4- I remember before after selecting my Queen livery an ulterior window opening and loading the Airac with the spinning 747 but is not doing it now.
