I thought I followed the instructions below in quotes correctly when I installed SP1 (I have not yet installed SP1b). Since I did not make any additions or changes to the RTM panel states that came with the initial 777 install, I basically left them as is when installing SP1. So now I'm beginning to question myself that possibly I should have deleted all the panel states, including RTM panel states............did I make a mistake? I was assuming the installer would automatically replace the RTM previous panel states! "Old panel states and saved flights made with the RTM version of the airplane are *NOT* compatible with SP1. Hi guys , i m sorry if this is not the right forum to ask this but i m searching more info for flying on vatsim .. i thought this might be the right place for info especially because i only fly with PMDG planes and i think that a lot more people fly on Vatsim with PMDG I am a long time user of fs but completely new with online flying although i must say the last 5-6 years i wanted to experiment with Vatsim and looking for something completely new but never had the courage of doing it so any help is more than welcome . Hi When I opened my operations center today, I saw two updates, one for the 200LR and one for the 300ER. I installed the 200LR and when it finished, it had me restart the computer. All worked well. When I went back into the operations center to install the 300ER, I clicked on the update to install and it disappeared and went to the page that's says you have no notifications. I closed the O C and reopened it and there was the update for the 300ER. It will not let me install the update. thanks for any ideas regards Doug

Recently I am facing the problem of flying 300er with fsinn online. I know that here is the place of many people flying online with pmdg 777-300er so I would like to ask the question here. We all know that 777-300er should be "B77W" and 200lr should be "B77L", altough many people on Vatsim still register their aircraft as B772 and B773 wrongly. However, when I tried to register my 300er as "B77W", the box immediately turned red which means "B77W" cannot be identified by fsinn. On the other hand, if I type "B773" or "B772", there will not be any problem of identification of the aircraft. So I want to ask you guys that which code, B77W or B773, should I type into F…

Due to problems, I bit the bullet and reinstalled FSX last night. I did not delete the files but now find that fonts are missing on my HSI and EICAS displays. Should I uninstall and reinstall to remedy or is there a shorter route please? Aircraft are my MD-11, 744 and -8, NGX and T7.

Every once in a while in this hobby I have "Duh!" moments. I have a mid-range system. I suddently realized yesterday that if I have a flight ending or originating from the NYC area that I should use the MD-11 (when possible) as the aircraft even if the real life flight uses a 777. The MD-11 has FAR lower VAS usage and is more frame rate friendly and I have no problem flying out of the NYC area with it. I do with the 777. A simple substitution fills the bill.

Hey guys, I currently own the PMDG 747X. I bought the FS2Crew button for it, but I must have a joystick for a requirements for it. Just a note, the "splash" that results form the landing gear while taxiing is still animated once airborne. Anyone else experience this? Not sure if this is new to SP1B or not. thanks,

Gents, After searching around I have been unable to find a good answer to this question... Has there been any word on any further expansions beyond the 300ER for the 777X? Are we ever going to see the -200ER or the -300. Although I love the -300ER, personally I'm a fan of the a bit more underpowered aircraft such as the -200ER and -300. Going through the search results, RSR has referred to the -300ER as "the first expansion" a couple of times, but I can't find any more word then that. Karl

I know that PMDG would like us to use the default FSX commands for the controls (instead of FSUIPC). So I have been trying to figure out how to revert to the FSX set-up, because I simply cannot get the spoiler lever on either the 737 or the 777 to smoothly move back and forth. It's either armed, fully out or parked - nothing in between. I am using a Saitek X52 controller, and am trying to use the slider on the throttle side to employ the spoilers. If I use the FSX commands "/" or "Shift-/", I get the armed mode or full spoilers, nothing in between. With the Saitek, the same thing - the slider will not control the spoilers except for full on, armed or off. I've managed to …

I have been created my own Airport and change the NAVDATA Files in the manner, descriped in "tutorial sid e star PMDG ENG.pdf" On the RTE-Page1 with LSK 1L take over the ICAO code of my own Airport. At this action i get an Error-MSG: "ERR at N LN:10" I could not find any clue into the Manuals "PMDG-NGX-FCOMv1 and v2.pdf Can anyone help me ?

Hi all, I'm a big fan of PMDG, you've done a great job on every aircraft! Since the beginning a major scenery problem appeared while using the MD11 in cloudy weather. I use REX Essentials + Overdrive as well. This problem recently 'expanded' to the 737NGX and the 747-400. I'm not sure wether this problem is from PMDG or REX and I have no idea how to fix this. Hey all, Robert said in a post yesterday he anticipated the release of the next service pack on 8/8 at a time in the US that I cannot remember. I was just wondering if anyone knows what city PMDG is based in in the US, so I could set my iPhone world clock to include that city so that in future I don't have to guess time differences, as I'm way over here in Australia. I installed the PMDG 777-300ER Expansion pack and everything works exept for the taxi cam. I ran the FSX with and without Direct X. Does any body have any tips or answers? Can you run PMDG 777-300ER with Direct X?
