Is there any bird strike scenarios included in NGX failure system and how deeply they are modelled if they are there?It would be nice to see broken windshields and random engine failures after strikes. Also differences between compressor ingestion and bypass ingestion would be cool!It has been pleasure to follow discussion during developement of ngx and highly appreciate your precision and "bug free launch" strategy!(sorry for bad english)Cheers,Tapio Leppäkoski

Can i ask to get a kinda picture of where projects are curruntly?...where they stand?....obviosly to be taken with a pinch of salt, because thats the nature of the business.

I fly into KMSP, my home airport. When flying the T7 I usually ask for 12R to land, which is a10,000 ft runway. FSX ATC will often direct me to 12L which is only 8,200 ft long. During busy times outgoing traffic is pushed to the longer runway for obvious reasons leaving 12L for landing. By the time request reassignment to 12R I'm well into my descent and standard approach. ATC gives me the requested runway but authorizes an approach to 12L with a side step to 12R. I have time for the maneuver but usually have to increase rate of descent because the touchdown zone is around 1,000 ft nearer. My flow to set up for the landing is: 1-Tune Nav1 to the approach 12L ILS…

Hi, As the title states, I purchased the extended download service for the 747x three days ago and still nothing. I have followed instructions and created a support ticket with my order ID. "EXTENDED DOWNLOAD SERVICE ORDERS: Your purchase has been recorded in your account. In order to receive access to your download, you must open a Re-Download ticket in PMDG's Support Portal:http://support.precisionmanuals.com" So what is the problem? I read that it normally takes up to 24 hours but its been way over 48 hours.

Hi guys, I just recently finished building my own budget gaming PC. I installed FSX the other day, and all the default aircraft fly smooth as silk with no stutters. I have only installed the latest version of FSUIPC and the NGX and 777-200LR and 300ER. However, I notice that both PMDG products stutter very noticeably once per second. When I hit the P key to pause the sim, the stutters go away. However, when I resume the flight after hitting P again to unpause, they immediately resume. I've tried tweaking my settings, rebuilding FSX.cfg, and nothing so far. I am running the following specs: ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS AM3+ AMD 760G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard AMD FX-6…

The topic title say's enough I think. I'm not going to reset everything again I just want to know how I can change this in a quick way. No time to put hours in it AGAIN! How to change back to max previous update? Thx in advance! John

Hi, I recently had major issues with my PC, which resulted in me losing everything from it. Now it is back up and running and FSX has been re-installed, is there a way to re-download my previous PMGD purchases or do i have to pay for them again? Many Thanks, Callum

Hi, I am very interested in purchasing several PMDG aircraft e.g. 737-800NGX, 747-8X and 777-200LR (and maybe MD-11) however I believe that with PMDG I cannot change the liveries to a custom livery for my virtual airline. At the moment I have my custom livery on my default aircraft but obviously they lack the instrumental sophistication of the PMDG's. I have flown the PMDG 737-800NGX on my buddies computer and really love it.....but my stummbling block is that I want my own liveries on my aircraft. Is there any way I can customise PMDG aircraft once I purchase them. I am very familiar with Photoshop/DXT etc. Thank you in advance NB

hello all It has been a long time now that I have had a chance to flight sim, Just over a year. I want to try and get back to doing it at least once a week and I noticed that the route maps in the real world navigation have changed. I was able to install a new route map update from aero.sors.fr Now the problem I seem to be running into is that my FMC data for the queen is all dated 4/21/08 how would I go about getting it updated? thanks for everyone's help in advance Ian Snow

As the title says it all, i want to edit some of mt textures, and when i searched for images online, i never found any font that matches the real one. so some help will be appreciated if anyone who knows the font used would share it. Saif

So I've been struggling with my graphics for ages, and I've finally had enough. I've upgraded the motherboard, CPU, GPU, HDD's,with the same result. My graphics almost always go haywire whenever I change screens to adjust settings, or minimize fullscreen and return. Usually my aircraft is totally gone, the scenery half missing, or the graphics literally look like they're hallucinating. I initially thought this was due to heavy airport scenery and addons, but I've just had it. I haven't been able to finish a flight in what seems like years. I am leaning towards lack of memory, because really that's all that's left to change. Any help out there?! Thanks, Paul

Hey everyone. I have been away for a week and I am having a hard time keeping up with all the new activity on the forums. It is hard to believe the countdown is started. I recently purchased Trackir for the NGX and have been having a hard time getting the viewpoints right. I downloaded several xml files from the trackir forums and have fiddled with them a bit but just can't seem to get it so that I cans see all the displays. I have been watching Nicks videos from angle of attack and he seems to have a perfect profile. I could benefit from someones experience here and wondered if they could post their xml settings from me to try. Thanks.

Dear PMDG. It would be a nice touch,if you could do a mod to each of your aircraft,that allowed you to open a book,for checks to do,before flights,when in vc. Similar to the js41 book you open for speed bug and flap speeds,for aircraft weight loads. the book would list things like what switchs to check and position of switches ect. I know you have these details in the js41 manual,but to have this in a preflight type book,would help to operate aircraft in a more profesional maner. Aerosoft did this sort of thing with there PBY catalina,by selecting alt in fsx full screen mode,then views/instrument panel/checklist. Thanks alan cottrill.

First off for the past 3 hours I have not been able to submit a ticket to PMDG because I cannot login for whatever reason but I also cant activate my NGX!!!! This is becoming a very frustrating purchase. Installed with Admin started FSX with Admin when i put in my license key from the e-mail i get cannot connect to internet then followed by wrong licence key. I have searched everywhere on the forums but no one has posted any solutions to the problem and don't be a child and post a link to the ticket support area I already stated I cannot log in there. Maybe it has something to do with my activation? Help will be much appreciated.

Hi to all that read my post I really need some advice concerning a none working curser when using PMDG aircraft in FSX. the curser works fine with all of the FSX aircraft its just when I try and fly the PMDG aircraft . this problem only happened after I downloaded some new software which is FIX IT UTILITYS REGISTRY CLEANER I have used this product for a number of years and have never had an issue with it before but just to be on the safe side I took the program off and restored my pc back to the day before to a time I knew that everything was working fine but I am still having the same problem ,also I have lost the ability to drag & drop , if any one can help me …

Has anyone found a good way to jump to desired pages and entries in PMDG documentation PDFs other than scrolling through the hundresds of pages? I have them loaded via Dropbox on my iPad and have tried various apps to read them such as Good Reader, or Acrobat on my PC. The issue seems to be that they are locked and that there is no Table Of Contents available. Thumbnails are available but no TOC. I can easily use the TOC to determine where I need to go, but cannot "jump" to that location. I must have missed something. As an example- I get a cockpit warning and am trying to look it up, find a checklist, or determine a quick course of action for resolution. Whateve…

Hi folks, I just have the idea that if you put the pitot covers on that simultaneously the pilots vanish. Would that not be nice? One action, two effects -- instead of digging into the 'FMC' menu.

I remember being told or reading somewhere that PMDG aircraft don't like to fly twice, and I could have misunderstood it, but do I really have to restart FSX every time I want to load a new flight with PMDG? Patrick Boynton

Probably me but on the PMDG website I cannot locate the liveries for the 777. I can see all the other types 737,747 ,md11 etc.. but not the 777. Any idea where I can find them? -Tonny Koops
