Hi folks, Hope everybody is doing good. I have question regarding PFD screens in PMDG 777. Despite setting to ultra graphics, and everything around in the cabin and scenery looking absolutely stunning the screens themselves are always flickering (low textures). Even the default FSX planes have super smooth PFD screens (at the same graphics settings) but not PMDG 777. is this a known issue ? or am I missing something ? I play FSX on DX10, turning that off didn't help either. Help !

I'd like to know if I can use those products in my notebook and in my desktop computer. I will not use them at the same time. Thanks in advance Thomas Gomez

I remember being told or reading somewhere that PMDG aircraft don't like to fly twice, and I could have misunderstood it, but do I really have to restart FSX every time I want to load a new flight with PMDG? Patrick Boynton

Hi all, I am looking at getting a new PC which looks like it will come with WIn 8.1. I know that PMDG have stated they provide no support for Win 8..... I have seen a few posts about the aircraft working with 8.1 but are there any issues? Would I be better trying to get Win 7 Pro or UIt 64 bit if I can? Scott Stephens

Hello PMDG, I was hoping you might release an addon for all of your products that would enable us to run 2D gauges on a separate computer. I have looked into ways of doing this but have not really found an adequate solution. IT would be nice if the FMC, EICAS, and PFD/ND could all be brought up on a secondary client computer. Thanks!

Hi All, My computer has Windows 7 Professional Portuguese-BR. To install and use Speak Recognition, I have to migrate to Ultimate in order to have English in Regional Settings. Then I can use FS2Crew and other similar voice to machine software. I ask you: will I have problems with my PMDG NGX, 777 and J41 licenses after migrating? Thanks in advance. Regards,

Afternoon all, Just a quick one (I suspect it's a 'no' as it will be something buried away in the code) but is it possible to alter the distance before the Pause at TOD? For example, set the pause to something like 100nm before TOD? Cheers, Rich

Captains- About six hours ago we released both the SP1 and the 777-300ER, just as we had said we would earlier in the week. I would like to apologize to Tom and the crew at AVSim- as we normally give them a bit of warning on our release plans, but in the workup toward the release we completely forgot to make sure that Tom was aware and had a chance to alert his server techs... Hello! I am currently experiencing a problem, where PMDG Op Center is unable to start any download of patch to my PMDG 777-300ER. My current version of OP Center is 1.11. My 777-300ER version is 1.10.6036 and it is unable to download 1.10.6061. When I will hit Install Update in notifications... popup of that update will dissappear and nothing happens.

Will PMDG fix the tiller steering system in their aircrafts like the Q400 or the new Aerosoft A319 (see matt davies vid on youtube)?

When I click on the Op Center, I get a message reading "Youre computer is using nonstandard DPI. PMDG Op Center does not currently support Hi DPI settings". The result I get in OC is that I can not load non pmdg provided liveries. How can I adjust the DPI to an appropriate setting. Robert Marton

HI, Here is what I noticed when I did some tests.I have the SP1b upgrade. I just wanted to check the fuel consumption, so I took the route KEWR to VHHH from the forum with a full load.I was using the 300ER. I came back later on to check and I noticed:insufficient Fuel.Strange because all the calculations were all right at the beginning. I saw then the a/c was at FL280 instead of FL340.Maybe I did not set up the step climb properly. The next day I decided to do the same FP with the 200 instead.I double check the option for the auto cruise,ON and 4X max. Hi Everyone , Many times on this forum and on PMDG Support , i have posted about a problem that i do have only with PMDG Products, 737 NGX JS4100 and 777. 747 and MD11 have no problems. When i INstall the product i mentioned after the second time i load them again FSX ask me to load and trust again the same DLL of the panell when i click on yes the plane is loaded and when i click on fly now for the 737 NGX at 4% there is a crash to desktop with the 777 and sp1 installed and 777300 as well i am able to load the plane but i can see the panell for 2-3 seconds and then all is CTD. During the course of updating the Operations Center and updating the 777 to SP1 and SP1b, the external air conditioning cart no longer appears on either the 737 NGX nor the 777. This issue appears on all versions of the A/C. Any idea how to fix? Bill Clark

More so directed to the team over at PMDG, Can we expect a B787 model and if so, roughly, when around? I'm a complete ###### and love the Boeing 787 after it was announced in 2009 and after being on one earlier this summer. (Asking PMDG because they obviously make the best Boeing models)

I own both the NGX and the 777. I have not been able to get either of them to do a correct holding, unless it is a holding directly on the route same inbound course etc. Whenever the holding requires a teardrop/offset or parallel entry, the plane seems to do whatever it want. I believe in the real plane that the entry to the holding is also drawn on the ND (from FCOM) which is not the case in either 777 or NGX. I love both products, but I would like a comment of someone who knows wether it is a limitation of FSX or PMDG was not able of getting it done realistically? As I said, I LOVE both products, but whenever I do a holding I feel like something is missing…

Good day all. I am just looking for the second opinion here and I am wondering if anybody uses OpusFSX software (specifically cameras) and PMDG 777 aircraft with multiple monitor set. I keep getting 6DOF Error<div style=": rgb246, 246, 246;"> and Exception from HRESULT: 0xC00000B0<div style=" errors. It is really kiiling my desire to fly. I am working with the developer but so far no luck on solving this issue. I was told that complex aircraft like 777 most likely cannot handle turbulence and DHM effects. If anyone had similar issue with Opus and 777/737 and was able to fix it please let me know. Thanks for looking.

Captains, A few moments ago we have made live for you the SP1b update that will enhance the stability of the PMDG 777-200LR/F and PMDG 777-300ER products. As I have mentioned in a few places, thes SP1b update is designed to improve the product stability by eliminating a some lockup/freeze/CTD conditions that we found with user help after the release of SP1 back on 18JUL14. This update also enhances the stability of the airplane itself by correcting a few conditions that caused some minor instability in the pitch control model of the autoflight system. Since we have ways of getting Ground Equipment for the jets, can we get a button for Airstairs and baggage loaders as well? If I park at a gate that has no jetway, my pax are stranded with their bags!!!

Just made the mistake of updating SP1 to SP1B it wiped out everthing but the guts of the cocpkit in the any exterior view. Help would be appreciated.

Hello! I am an absolute beginner regarding the MS Flight Simulator and the PMDG products. I would like to purchase one of the PMDG aircraft. I'm interested in MD-11, 747, 737 and 777 at the moment. The problem is that I cannot decide which one to choose. Which one (from those listed above) would be more suitable to begin with? What I would like to do is to begin flying the (let's say) "easiest" to maneuver, the one with less engine power, and things like that. And then progress to the next one, bigger, more engine power etc. Something like a "career mode". Could anyone give a few hints? (like "Hey, start with 737-600, then 737-700 etc. then 777, then 747, then MD…
