Hello PMDG!May I first congratulate you on the release, and say that I'm happy I bought the bird. Purchase was a no-brainer, even though the purchasing form instructed me to fill AT LEAST 5 letters in the "Billing city" -field. Well, I live in Oulu (LOL!), so from now on I live in Oulux instead ... Installation was a breeze as well. Everything in the "computer preflight" was easy and quick to do.Now to the business.First the positives:- I find the FDE _so easy_ to fly by hand. Makes me wonder if the real bird in fact is this stable. The 757 level-D was nowhere near this stable and "gentle" as this. Gotta trust PMDG tho :).- The overall feel of the aircraft is superb, also…

The product is great!!! two questions that bug me -- a. Where is the manual? the HTML version i have in the fs2k2 directory is .. well, allmost nothing.. everything says "download the (..) in the website".. including tutorials, etc. and i couldn't find it on the website.. where is it? and B. - Where are all the SID STARS? i have installed the 76PIC navbase, still don't have them.. Is there a way to get the VOR's to auto-tune? Or must we manually tune VOR's into the radio? I have the VOR switches on and see them at the bottom of the ND but they are not auto-tuning. Maybe they are not supposed to? Will NAV1 radio auto tune the ILS for the selected RWY in the FMC?Another quick clarification question, when climbing and using N1 on the MCP, this is supposed to be used in conjunction with V/S correct? Hi guys,A couple of problems that I have been having with both the 600 and 700 series.Installed and loaded up yesterday and flew the first flight. During this flight I was able to load correct fuel loads into tanks.After the first flight was completed restarted FS and took the return flight. Here is when the problems started. I was unable to load equal ammounts of fuel into the tanks, by a large ammount. I was trying to load 8000lbs into left and right. FS would let me input this figure but as soon as I clicked ok and went back to panel view the right tank would immediately reduce to about 2500lbs (give the yellow inbalance warning). On my first test flight, everything worked great (with exception of the VC framerate issue) until setting up for the ILS to KJFK 31R. I had that RWY input into the FMC flightplan I had and had the NAV1 radio tuned to the ILS freq. of 111.50, the FMC showed 111.50 as well. Had the OBS set to 314 and the FMC indicated 314 as well. When I switched to the dial on the upper left of the main panel from map to app, I got a yellow message on the ND stating "EFIS MODE/NAV FREQ DISAGREE" msg? No GS or LOC indicators were present on the ND, just this msg. I also put 111.50 into the NAV2 radio and that did not help. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

The 373NG's vector gauges clearly show that the price for such instruments is a massive framerate breakdown, especially if the gauges are detached and increased in size.With the Lago Terramesh Europe 2002 installed, I get very low framerates when trying to land at LOWI. I have the PFD detached (default size) for better readability. Landing is not very smooth.What does interest me now is whether a processor upgrade will significantly meliorate my situation (currently Athlon 2200+ on an A7V8X Via KT400 board with Radeon Pro 9500 and 512MB RAM).Great Product, the 737NG, would even purchase it at twice the price!Andreas

I know PMDG, have taken the liverys off line, so that the base package downloads are faster, but has anybody got the working EasyJet livery, they could post a download link to. IF you could, that would be great, if you cant, no big deal the Southwest winglets, will be just fine untill the Liverys are up.Jason

Problem first, When selecting -600 virtual cockpit and cabin my fs2k2 comes up with a fatal error and wants to re-start. 2d works fine. I have ATI9700 pro 128mb, pen4 2.53g, 512rdram, so not sure where the problem is.Good points,Install went perfect, got the computer code no problems, e-mailed it to you. Flight model very good! First Impressions :-)I did extensive tests last night from various destinations, flew around 4 hours and I have to say one think WOW!!!!You have done exceptional work. I have never seen an add-on that can establish in ILS with 40 degres, I did it 4 times yesterday. I have never managed to hand fly an a/c so perfectly trimed, First time managed to climb with 2500ft/min with steady speed and no handes on the yoke :-) :-)Once again EXCEPTIONAL job well done.Chris MakrisAthens Greece

I was flying my typical test flight from KBTR to KMSY. Programmed the FMC for LNAV (AWDAD6). Flight was going beautifully. With the radios tuned to KMSY ILS 10, I selected APP while still at 18 NM and 3000 ft msl and the PFD showed that LOC was caputured while G/S remained selected as ready. Immedialtely, the airplane lurched to the ground. I disconnected the A/P, but lost control of trim too and was not able to recover and had to make an emergency landing on the bayou. I am experienced with the DF 737-400, an find the 737NG flows quite similar, if not the same. Me again...Really can't get those radios to work...Just made a flight EGLL-EDDF...Everything worked OK...Except the radios...Mine don't work...Is there a button, a way or something else to turn them on??I cannot get no DME, I cannot make ILS approaches and captures...;(

Randy, I know your monitoring the forum right now so hopefully you can help me. I have PIC installed. I have the latest AIRAC installed into the FS2002/FMCWP/navdata folder. When I creat a flightplan in the 737 FMC, everything works fine but under the STAR column on the left hand side, it is blank. What exactly do I need to do to get the STAR data to be read my the FMC. Guys, I've been reading some of the posts here and really wanted to tell you that most of us appreciate the massive efforts that your whole team has put in this project. First of all: this is a great aircraft and I'm sure I'll get to love it, after I've been able to read the docs and fully understand the FMC etc..But in the meantime, a question: the Flight Director switch shows nicely in the "off" position, but disappears in the "on" position.. is the color of the switch lever possibly the same as the background??Nvidia GF4-4200 video with 1280x960x32 resolution..

I remeber PMDG stated that the aerosoft 747-MCP hardware would work with the 737NG, I am wondering if this option is included with the current release & how i mite go about using the MCP with your 737, the aerosoft site's side buttons are not showing up, so i am unable to see if there are any updates for the pmdg 737?Thanks

Guys,Is the empty cart error we are warned about on the "Sales Page" the one that states.Your cart is empty or you have procceeded to the checkout page. Please close you browser and return to PMDG to purchase any other items. (Or something close to that anyway?) The reason I am asking is because of the "or" in the statement. I am not sure if this is a warning for nothing in my basket, or a notice that I am proceeding with the checkout, and from this point on I need to reset the browser to add any additional items to my order.Just looking for clarification before proceeding,Scott Burke
