Do any of you PMDG guys know which kind of Progrmas i could use, cause right now i dont have any money to buy Active Camera for FS2004. Also aer there any presets i can get for the VCabin? and instructions on how to install the? thanks for the help!Daniel

hi i'll probably get shot down for asking this but will owners of the 600-700 have to pay full price for the 800-900? or is it going to be diffrent enough to ask us to pay for the extra features?i will pay full price if there's a lot of new goodies but if we're only talking a couple of extra features then would you consider a sort of upgrade option for exsisting users?thanks,http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/61457.jpg

Morning guys!Yesterday I tried my first crosswind approach in the 737-600. I let the autopilot take the bird down to 1500' and then decided to hand fly her in from there. Upon landing I got a severe swerve to the right (into the crosswind). This right-hand turning tendency continued all the way down to taxi speed. I am assuming that this is because the autopilot applied rudder trim to counteract the crosswind during approach. My questions are a) is this the right interpretation of what happened, or was it just my shoddy landing, and :( how can I see the rudder trim from in the cockpit, i.e. is there a rudder trim guage? Many thanks in anticipation of some quality repl…

  5. I have to ask...Since PMDG development says that news is coming tomorrow about the possibility of a RealityXP Jetline 2 EFIS on the 1900D panel, I was wondering if there might be a possibilty the new Wx500 XP weather radar technology might find it's way into a future PMDG 800/900 release? It would be fantastic to have the current weather switches from the PMDG aircraft control a Wx500-type display on the ND gauge. I've read before that if it's possible to do a Wx radar representation, PMDG would consider adding Wx radar to the ND. Well, in my opinion, RealityXP has done a fine job with their initial release.Currently, the Wx500 XP weather radar can be added to an existing…

Hi guys;Looking really fantastic! I must say that the entrance of PMDG into the MSFS camp has been one of the greatest things to ever happen! I have been with you guys through Aerowinx 747, FLY and now Flight Sim and you just keep getting better.Anyway, my question is I noticed that you have Air Labrador and Air Alliance from Canada and I was wondering if you will be doing a Georgian Express Livery? I am from the Muskoka area and fly out of Lake Simcoe Regional Airport and have seen many Beech 1900's in this livery.Richard Rowe

Hi,I am very interested in buying the 737NG, but noticed that it is a 70Mb download whichwill take ages with my 56K to download. I also have a limit of staying connected for 2hours which will not be long enough to download the file, I got round this by using a download manager, but these cannot also be used. Is there any way I can download it so that I can fit parts in during the 2 hours and then reconnect and download other parts or any other way?Thank you for any help!Ian Clarke.

Hi all,I accidently pressed the 'E' button on my keyboard but didn't notice the result until I started to taxi and wondered why my a/c wanted to go right all the time. Thought I had some trouble with rudder calibration before I noticed that only the left engine responded to my throttle input... Checked the MSFS key assignments and the description for the 'E' button is "Select engine". Since I had already programmed the FMC I wasn't that willing to have to restart MSFS but that's what I eventually had to do since I couldn't find any other way to have both engines respond to throttle input again after this.Anyone else experienced this and know how to fix it without restarti…

Hey all -I am a little excited at the moment :D Computer Pilot Magazine has contacted me and told me that a review of the PMDG 737NG is nearing completion :D Then I was told that the reviewer recommended my tutorial for printing out and using as a learning aide! I have been asked to allow my tutorial to be included on the cover cd, and I of course said yes :DWow....sorry guys, I am just a little excited and I just wanted to share the above with you :-hah

  12. Captains-The PMDG 737-800 has rolled out of production. It's simply not practical to place a coat of paint on the airplane in the PMDG production facility, so today was the day the airplane was officially moved off to "The Paint House."I thought you might enjoy a few pictures of the journey.....It is always important to be properly de-iced before departure. Heavy snow throughout the northeastern USA created a strong need for de-icing.... Remember to turn the PACKS off during de-icing, or your passengers will be coughing their lungs out as the fumes enter the cabin......http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/avsim/whatisit2.jpgWith almost no fuel required for the short f…

Hi,Just a simple question because I love the 737NG from PMDG but I also love a lot the Airbus...Is it a dream to hope that, one day, PMDG will start to develop an Airbus (like a 320) with the same quality as the 737NG?Thanks

This came up in a conversation not too long ago...what about a 757/767 package? The freeware stuff out there is good, but PMDG would and could set the standard. Have any of you PMDG genius' thought of this? (I don't mean genius in a sarcastic manner either!) PMDG would blow the socks off anything out there!

I noticed some time ago someone did a bit of reworking to the 2d panel view of the 737. I would love a copy of that, not b/c the main one is bad, but it offers some better depth perception. I know there are probably copy right things involved, but is there something that can be worked out? I can't wait for the 1900!!!!

First off when I start the aircraft there are two very loud noises one coming from the Recirc Fan when I place the knob on Auto and the other is from the stby power on the elecs power. Very annoying and I know they are not suppose to be there.Another is none of the gauges or anything else works or registers if cycle through the different view. The only way to get it to work is if I cycle views again with S ending back in the cockpit then it will show correct airspeed alt all that. Then when I do that the noises come back and the only way to get rid of that is to shift through the different views at least once with the Shift + 1-4. But then the gauges stop registering agai…

Hi Simmers,Just to inform you that the new version of WideView has been released. Post it also here because on this forum there a so much "hard core simmmers".The program gives the possiblity to have multiple views on (as much as you want) networked computers all running FS2004.The program is a complete rework. In previous versions it worked by a dll file in the modules map. Now there a two gauges: one server-gau and (as much as you want) client gauges which are incorporated in the panel.cfg of the aircraft you are flying. It gives here a frame rate on the clients which is almost the same as on the server !The program now can run (for the clients) in slew-, normal or pause…

I'm sure this has been suggested before. The ERJ-145 panel by Bill Grabowski has a feature I really like. The MCP altitude knob has two mouse click areas: close to the knob the altitude changes in 100' increments (basically the way the knob in the 737NG works now). A little further out the altitude changes in 1000' increments. Makes it simple and quick to set any altitude you want instead of letting the knob spin for 15-20 seconds. How does that thing work in a real 737?

Hello PMDG! I am so excited that you are modeling a Beech 1900D. I will definitely agree with someone else in saying that the commuter segment of the FS community has been neglected for far too long, and it's such a pleasure to see a change. I took a look at some of your paints already completed for the model, and I noticed two in particular that sparked my interest: The COA Connection (Grand Bahama) scheme and the standard COA Connection (Commutair). My only request (as I am from the Bahamas and see them ALL the time) would be for you to also paint a standard CO Connection for Gulfstream. Looking at the two, the only real difference would be registration numbers (G…
