Can anyone that uses the Saitek throttle that comes with the Pro yoke systems give some setup tips. Mine was just delivered so I haven't had a chance to go through everything. In the past I used CH products so I am new to Saitek and see that the default settings , from left to right, are Throtle, flaps and spoilers. How do you use the flaps with no detents, just sort of guess where flaps 1 - 3 - 5 etc may be? Also when you arm the auto reverse do you pull the lever down part way or still use the key settings. Any tips will be appreciated.Thanks

Right now I am using Sennheiser PC350 which are pretty good, but have two ear muffs, one too much for me.I have found Beyerdynamic models, which seems to suit my needs, but want to ask, if any of You have ever used these.They will be used for MCE and FSX's ATC only, so perfect sound capability is not really needed, neither pretty loud. I would also like to attach TrackIR Clip Pro on this set.Does any of You used these? Worth few bucks or stay with PC350? Okay, after eons of simming via my (school) laptop, currently a late 2011 MacBook Pro, which simply doesn't cut it due to the increasing hardware demands from addons from PMDG, Level-D and such, so I've decided to invest a bit in a PROPER desktop. I'm in the process of getting info and specs on a 3 monitoir setup and am looking at dropping my GTX580 in favour for the ATI 6970 2gb + Eyefinity, to run on 3 x 1920x1200 24" screens. If there is anyone who has got that setup and can offer some advice I'd be grateful. I am particularly interested in the kind of performance hit (if any) I am likely to get if I run this setup in VC. The other option for me is to go SLI with another 580 or use TH2go, and either way the costs begin to get unrealistic for me. Selling the 580, which is only four months old, would allow me to get the cheaper ATI comparible card and go with eyfinity... what do you guys think?

HiI decided to upgrade my system at the week end and bought a ready built bundle from my local supplier and also a new hard drive as my intention was to install windows 7 64 bit on the primary drive leaving my WD velociraptor free for all my FSX stuff. After successfully putting all the hard ware together i proceed to install windows, immediately i noticed that the installation was different from previous installations by this i mean it was a lot quicker. After completion i noticed first of all i had lost the ability for windows to recognise my router plus a few other explanation marks in the device manager indicating problems, having built a few systems without any issue…

Hi there, currently running FSX on a Phenom II 955 overclocked to 3.8 ghz, and a EVGA nvidia 560 TI. 8 gb of ram with Windows 7. 1080p resolution output to my TV. Settings are all nearly high except for water (set to low), and autogen (one setting below the max). Performance is still pretty dismal in big airports ~ 10 fps, and fps fluctuates in the virtual cockpit of the 737 NGX. It makes it extremely difficult to land with all the choppiness.Would I benefit by upgrading to a nvidia 570/580, or switching over to an intel chip? I could probably continue to overclock my cpu up to 4 ghz. Thanks.

Compared to my older i7 920 that was OCed to 4.0ghz, my i5 2500k at 4.6ghz is getting worse performance in comparable situations. Both systems used my ATI 6950 2GB card. Only other difference would be the current 8gigs of ram (1600) vs. 6 with the i7 (1333). I must be missing something somewhere. A driver, a setting, a .cfg line that i7's like but i5's don't.Any ideas?
