Hello Everyone!.I recently downloaded a nice panel by Marco Diaz for my SGA McDonnell Douglas MD-80. Initially It started to work great, I added a sound file and things went wrong. I am getting the following error message: "One or more programs you are using are not accredited for access to an unregistered copy of FSUIPC. See FSUIPC.log"First, I couldn't find the FSUIPC.LOG file. I went to the FS9 modules folder, but, it is not there. I downloaded and installed a new FSUIPC file. However, every time I attempt to start flight simulator, after loading the aircraft and airport, my computer crashes to the desktop. I am going nuts trying to figure out a solution to ths problem…

Now that my FS9 is able with my system upgrade, I'd like to import some more realistic airline AI to liven up the skies a bit. I am wondering what the best way is to pull in most of the major airlines, and where I need to go to find the files I need? I'm just sticking with freeware options, at this point the new system has co-opted my budget for the foreseeable future. Thanks for your insight and advice.Regards,John

Hi, Could someone help me to set up my multi screens(x2), so that I don't have to keep manually positioning the different windows every time I fly in FS2004.At the moment I only have 2 monitors (hope to be adding soon). Dragging each window to the appropriate monitor is a bind. Usually my main monitor shows forward view and the other, Panel view. I think I saw a post were this can be done through editing the cfg file but am not sure. I do all my flying in Full screen (Main monitor) I don't know if this would make a difference. ....Life would be so much better if all this could be done at start up. Thank you in advance, Peter

Hi Folks.My sim allows Milton's Dash7 to taxi at speeds approaching 40 knts!! I apply the brakes obviously at lesser speeds to control it but I would like to set it up to taxi at a more ' normal ' speed.I have tried recalibrating my FSUIPC settings, to no avail. I have installed a taxi speed gauge but it just shoots through the set speed. I have looked at the config file and also used AirEd but I am unsure what settings, if any, would slow it down.Has anyone else experienced this? Or can anyone tell me how to slow the bird down on taxi?Curiously though, even at full throttle the aircraft never exceeds about 210 knts. I have tried adjusting prop settings but again to no av…

Help please. I am trying to install the US Langley MAAM-CVL27 package. I cannot get it to show up in the list of airports. The install says to replace XX with the appropiate numbers. At the beginning **2.1/2.2 I have tried this and nothing Anyone know what the right number is. My poor old brain(74) is locked up. Thanks alot :(

After a long absence from FS9 and add-ons, I'm trying to get everything up to speed but I am getting numerous CTD's. I seem to recall there was a preferred order in which to load various programs but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Here are the programs I want to run: FS Build, FS9, ASV6, AI Smooth, and RC4. A few weeks ago someone asked this question, I've read the 2 answers that were given but still need more help."I've bought a combined unit of the saitek yoke and throttle. The throttle connects to the main unit via a ps2 port (like an old mouse port) rather than the usb. The power light on the quadrant is on. I cannot for the life of me work out how to setup and configure the throttle quadrant." The THROTTLE works fine. The MIXTURE CONTROL does nothing and the PROP CONTROL works the RUDDERS. Hey everyone.First time posting here but I've used the library for a couple of years :)I was just wondering if anyone knows a way to permanently disable the 'Gradual Transition' checkbox on the spotview page?Every time I boot up the sim or start a new flight I've got to uncheck it.A secondary problem is that I fly in full screen mode and have to press 'Alt' to see the menus. The sim only allows me to do this once, before it will not let me do it again for the duration of the flight! Anyone got an idea what's going on?Thanks a lot,Aryeh

Hey everyone.I'm currently flying the A320 for my VA and use the Aerosoft A319 from the commuter wings 2004 package.I really like flying with this panel and have worked out how to import fs2004 generated flightplans into the fmc on the panel (if you've used this addon, you'll know what I mean). This gives all the en-route waypoints and then I just add a SID/STAR as needed.I now want to know which other payware addon aircraft have an FMC with the ability to import flight simulator flightplans (I'm not talking about FSNAV generated ones, the simple ones made from microsoft directly). Hi, i've always wondered and well kinda searched a bit as well on this for the past few months and haven't really seen anything on it. Hopefully this isn't a silly question. Using traffic tools from justflight to view and follow ai aircraft, the range is somewhere at the 100NM right? Now i was wondering if there was a way to effectively reduce this range so that i could in turn reduce the number of aircraft my pc has to load up for a certain area, because i do find it quite ridiculous that when im flying into heathrow for example, aircraft as far as birmingham in the west midlands are also loaded up.So, basically what i'm asking is if there is a way to reduce the range to…

I just got a new video card, 9800GT 512mb and installed it. I haven't simmed in 3 or 4 months since my old video card had been out of commission. I installed nHancer as well.I'm starting to experiment with the new video card and the options in the sim and in nHancer to find out the best settings for my new setup. I got to thinking that I don't really know what the FS9 options "Render to Texture" and "Transform and Lighting" actually do and whether or not I should have them activated in FS9 or deactivated in FS9 since I'm using nHancer.

I have been able to create most commercial traffic(for AI)thanks to FedTravel and MRAI tools, however creating cargo traffic is a bit more complicated by having to use various sites(Flytecomm, FlightAware, TrackFlight, etc)to obtain departure/arrival times, airports, etc. I have google searched and found information regarding OAG's Air Cargo Guide and was just wondering if anyone was familiar with this particular product? It is pretty expensive to get a subscription but I understand many freight forwarding companies may just discard outdated(monthly)copies of these. I am posting this as a new topic to make it easier to get responses. With my new ATI 3850 card I get unuseable frome rates after several minutes, which is complwetely cleardd up when I hide the cockpit, or look out the sides. Never happened before. I'm talking about going from 30 to 5 fps when the cockpit of just about any plane is visible.

hi, can any one help? I have installed the fsuipc, but it not showing on the tag bar in flightsim. In the readme text it said if you can't see the module, then your windows setting needs to be change so that you see it! How do you go about doing this? HELP PLEASE :(

hey there...i'm having a slight problem.... my fs9 runs perfectly in normal mode with an average of 20-25 fps....however....when i engage fraps to capture my flights...the framerate drops to an average of 9-10 fps....and my game lags due to that...any idea wat i should do to make things better??my pc specs areAMD ATHLON 2400+1024 MB DDR RAM80GB IDE HARD DRIVENVIDIA GEFORCE 5500 256 MB (AGP and not PCI / PCI-E)

Well...for as long as I have been flight simming....I along with everybody else (for the most part..but not everybody...) have believed that if you can obtain a constant 30-40 FPS in a flight simulator...and with the theory of LCD screen-rate refresh rates of around 60 SPS, you could have pretty well, the full stroke of animation within your virtual world.Today...I have absolutely BUSTED that Sacred Cow.RUBBISH!To the reader....please reduce your FS9 to a windowed 5x5 inch up to a 10x10 inch screen...and then WATCH WHAT YOUR FLIGHT CONTROL BRINGS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!You had better be a much BETTER pilot in your heavy metal approaches with METAR …

hi alli have the PMDG 747 on FS9 and my zoom goes as far as 0.31 but because i use Th2go and three monitors i need the zoom to go further out, how do i get the zoom to go further out so i can see more of the panel in one sight, instead of using the joystick toggle to look up and down.thanks

Hello All: I have discovered by accident a major malfunction in my Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 scenery. I decided this weekend to virtually visit Mount Rushmore National Memorial in the Black Hills National Forest in southwestern South Dakota. After I set Rapid City Regional Airport (KRAP-RAP) as the departure airport and the scenery loaded up I noticed that the airport was surrounded on all sides by gigantic vertical walls extending upwards almost three thousand feet to this weird 5,500-foot to 6,000-foot plateau that is quite massive and covers the general Rapid City area.
