Morning, ASE (Active Sky Evolution) is not generating weather in FS9. I have recently reinstalled FS9 and ASE and regardless of the weather "snap shot" generated by ASE during the setup for a flight (or manually) the only weather I am getting is "Clear Sunny Skies". Am running: Windows 7 Pro FS9 with the update FSUIPC V3.99 Updated ASE and tried the base ASE as well As said, no matter what "snap shot is installed" (and done so successfully according to ASE) the only weather I get in FS9 is clear sunny skies. And yep, have "user defined weather" checked in the sim.

So you'll know that on these forums I've been pretty scathing of the Airsimmer A320 debacle and have perhaps been guilty of wading in to forum discussions with a 'it doesn't work/it crashes/it's not finished/they robbed our money' type vibe. I think what made me most peed off was that the A320 felt so 'nearly' there. It was so good in many areas but in the end trying to make it work just felt like pushing water uphill and in the end I resigned myself to the fact that we were never going to have a decent 'Bus for FS9, and that made me a bit grumpy. I am wondering If Anyone has AIrsimmer AIrbus 320 latest version 1.4. For FS 2004. I want to buy it, BUT I would like to know if it is better than the Wilco version and were the Crashes fixed by the latest updates? Visually it looks much much better and the virtual cocpit as well, but how about the frame rates, and the flight model itself, does it fly smooth? I was just wondering if anyone has the scenery for Queen Alia International airport in Jordan? The scenery was made by Contrail Simulations. If anyone has this airport how is it? There are a few screenshots of the scenery but not many shots of the buildings. And the screenshots that they do have of the buildings are not very good. A new Bell 429 helicopter has been released here in the library. I took it for a quick spin and I really like it! If anyone remembers the H&S Designs EC145 helicopter, this new one is on the same level of detail as that one. The file names are: bell_429_base_pack.zip, bell_429_offshore_pack.zip, bell_429_law_enforcement_pack.zip, bell_429_hems_pack.zip, bell_429_civil_pack.zip, and bell_429_paint_kit.zip.

What is the purpose of the pitch control know in the main panel of the Fokker F28/1000. Is a functional know but cannot find in the web or the F28 manual its purpose. Appreciate any help I can get . Please reply to [email protected]

Which do you use? I would say the users of newer flight sims would likely be a VC crowd. Here in the FS2004 world, it may be a different story. Have you moved away from 2D flight or are you happy to remain a dinosaur?

I have recently added UK2000 Jersey to my FS9 and this shows the runways as 08 and 23 yet when using FS navigator it shows runways as 9 and 27. Only a small thing I know but annooying. Any help would be much appreciated regards Brian

Hello! I'm a user of the RXP GNS 430W/530W, and have searched all around for navdata. All the instructions to update it, seem to "not apply" to me. I have "Americas.img" and "Intrnatl.img", but none of the files they ask for me to replace. Does anyone know a "fix" for this problem? Thanks

I have activated airsimmer in TabletPC,but it don't let me to download updates and liveries, it's always saying "Setup could not be started.Error=193.Skipping packet. And i can't even register to the support forum it's always saying "The following errors were found: Your answer to the challenge question was not valid. Please try again."

Hi, I'd like to get the RTOW Take Off Charts for the Airbus A320 These charts change for every single airport and every single runway, and also the conditions of the runway, DRY / WET. They are necessary to manually calculate the V speeds when taking off. The FMC calculate these speeds, but the pilots must also a complementary method to verify the FMC is okay, for that reason these charts are necessary. In other words, you cannot trust just in what the FMC says. As an example, Paris Orly Airport LFPO, Runway 08, DRY will have a different chart than Barelona El Prat Airport LEBL, Runway 07R, DRY conditions. These charts are released to calculate the perform…

I have recently been playing Flight Sim 98, for a bit of nostalgia, running it in Windows 98 in the program VMware in my Windows 7 64 bit. However I recently bought the RAF 2000 Payware Addon pack for FS98. And whilst most of the Aircraft work, I am having problems with a few a few of them. Two of those Aircraft that I am having problems with, are the Hawker Hart and Hind. I create a flight, and select the Plane and Airport, It loads all views are there including the instrument Panel. And the propellor is turning and I have the sound, however when I apply power even full power, with the brake off, the Sound remains the same and the plane remains stationary, I am not sure …

I have reinstalled FS9 after a computer crash and now cannot get it to stay in windowed mode. I have tried alt = enter no luck. I am running windows 7 pro 64bit. Any help would be much appreciated regards Brian

I seem to find that clouds come in banks with some [fairly] clear weather in between them. Are there any settings that I could tweak that would give me a more overall coverage? I notice that there are a number of weather settings in the FS9.CFG file but I'm not sure exactly what they all mean. My present settings in the sim are: Sight distance = 100 miles Cloud draw distance = 60 miles 3-D cloud percentage = 100% Detailed clouds = Selected Cloud coverage density = Maximum Many thanks for any help. I have Jon Patch and Holger Sandmann's Victoria Plus Canada scenery (vicenh06.zip in the library) installed and when I am at Camel Point Heliport at dusk or night my sim crashes. During the day the scenery works fine. Hi there. Somone please help me. This is really crazy. I suppose to have a good PC and a good graphic card as well, but the simulator does stutters. One each minute. The configuration is AMD Q10 quad core 3.8GHz (4.2GHz ) 8Go of RAM and Nvidia 780GTX 3Go 2 Matrox TreapleHead2Go 6 monitors LENOVO and the simulator is FS9. This computer is set for the outside view. I tested in FS9, all the graphics settings back to minimum. And the stutters was still there, one each minute. Now I try to find out if the problem come from the fs9.cfg If nothing is find here I have to work on the Nvidia settings which makes me freaking out as I know nothing about it. I've …

For 12 hours I was unable to access Avsim - I kept getting an error message asking me to contact my host [whoever they are?] about it. I tried contacting my ISP but they said they couldn't help. Did anyone else experience this? Dijvid
