Hello. Is it possible someone can walk me through how I might be able to add an autopilot disconnect sound to a particular panel? I have one aircraft that has no sound for this function and I'd like to add something. I've looked through config files for other aircraft but haven't been able to find anything related to this. I was hoping someone might be able to talk me through it if it's easy enough. Thanks!

Hi, Have a problem with my time being 1 hr behind when changing airports within the same time zone. I load my default flight which has the correct system time, but when I change locations within the same time zone the time is always 1 hr. behind. Thank-You

Been wanting to ask for a while, especially of the devoted FS9'ers. The 737 poll in this forum made me think it's time to pop the question. FS9 is becoming like the cult flight sim of the flight sim world. We are becoming the real hardcore users that will stick with FS9 forever. Modern sims are likely split with both types of virtual pilots but what about us FS9'ers? I can think of reasons why the split between jet and prop FS9 pilots may no longer be even. I would find it interesting to know what types of aircraft we fly in this great sim.

Hello all, This is probably an inappropriate place for this query but given the very surprising lack of response in the Carenado forum I decided to try my luck here. I have been to the Carenado site a couple of times now (since being given an offer of a free aircraft in return for being unable to help with a serial number not valid message on installation) I am specifically looking at FS2004 options as a replacement but there is no (obvious) FS2004 product page. Have they officially abandoned FS2004 or am I simply looking in the wrong spot. Regards to all Tony

Hi Guys, sorry if this is the wrong forum. I have just purchased The Wilco Airbus vol.1 evolution. I am using FS9 on Win7 64bit. My problem is that when I load the airbus evo the fs crashes. The only way that I can load the plane is if I load the Cessna then once it has loaded I can then choose the airbus. That can not be correct. I also so far haven't got the weather radar to work. Is there any other Airbus about for the FS9 Thanks Rob

My (current) favorite plane in FS2004 is the DeHavilland DH-7, four engine turboprop...But, I am not real pleased with the sound file,,,Sounds really tinny...Can anyone recommend a replacement sound file that has some realism to it? Thanks...

Hi all, I have installed the New Doha Airport and it is a beauty. My problem is no aircrafts as the current flight plans still make the planes fly to OTBD. How can that be changed to OTHH? Thanks for any advice Rob

Hi everyone. I'm new on the forum. I've got FS9 and i can't change frequencys of ATC. I take off from airport 1 with ATC on: everything OK, when I come close of airport 2, I can't join it, no settings avalaible automatic or manual ? I thought it was automatic ? Thanks for helping. I have finally got around to using FS9 on windows7. I used to use Just Flight terrain and VFR photoscenery, but I can't get it to install at all with FS9 in non-default folder. I came across positive comments re FSGenesis add on scenery here, does this enhance elevation of terrain as well as give more ground detail? I want something to do VFR flights around UK, that's all. Hello. Does anyone else have an issue with the KMCI scenery from FRF of runway 1L & 1R not being used? Just had wind 360 at 13 and the 19 runways were being used. I looked at the airport file and the 1's are not closed for either takeoff or landing so I'm not sure why it's doing that. Anyone know?

I have since not so long ago a new computer, some of the specs are as follows: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7400 CPU @ 3.00GHz 3.00GHz RAM 16.0 GB 64-bits system x64-processor It definitely is a good computer for flightsimming. Alltough; it stops working from time to time, and then shows one of following messagaes - Your computer has run out of available memory.... It mostly happens when a flight takes some pause, and the image remains same during a certain time, I can see at such moments throuhj my task manager tyhat the used memory goes up without any changes in the flights image. Hello! Does someone know, how to make an effect appear on both sides of the aircraft, using just one file? I'm trying to make an effect (splash) for light to the 737-200 engines (Tinmouse II). Does someone know which parameters do I need modify to get it on both sides, using just one effect? I'm trying, but the effect appears "inside" of the engines. I'd like to get it "outside". I corresponded a bit with David regarding a single issue I seem to be having with it but he was unable to give me much reasoning because he is out of the FS world now. Hello all! I am a long time fight sim fan, and recently, as I was browsing through my file archives, I found this wonderful aircraft, that I had so much enjoyment with several years ago. Immediately I pulled out my FS9 installation, and tried to put it into the sim. That is where the problems started. Whenever I try to load the Dash either from the main menu or after loading some other plane, such as the default Skyhawk, it shows up in the preview window, but upon clicking ok, the sim freezes for a few seconds and crashes, with no error messages. I think, I can remember dealing with this issue before, but I have no idea, what I did back then to fix it. …

Hi there, I have an display issue with an AI Aircraft, in FS2004. In the Program AI Aircraft Editor, the Aircraft displays properly, when selected, so it appears that I have installed, the textures properly. But in FS2004, I select the AI Aircraft in flight, an Airbus A320-200 Laudamotion, and It shows up as the following :- What could cause this issue ? and how do I fix the problem ? Hey, ive trawled through literally hundreds of threads to try and find a definitive guide to this. Q. Can I add Autogen (buildings, trees etc) to photorealistic scenes for fs9? I believe the answer is yes, but I have no idea how to start. I have some photo scenery I got from eBay, and I can create my own using FSET but how to I get Autogen on it so it isn’t ‘flat’ everywhere? Ideally I would like to place stuff too so it becomes more real at low levels. i have sbuilder and whilst I can do the island tutorial that comes with it, I can’t work out in my head how to do this with photos.
