The ATC in my copy of FS2004 identifies my AlphaSim C-5B Galaxy as a Lockheed Citation. The atc_type=Lockheed and the atc_model=C500. Does anyone have any suggestions for fixing this?

Hi I saw a program called FSX2FS9 in the library that supposedly can convert FSX secenery to FS9 obviously with limitations. Has anyone tried it before, if so is it worth playing with? I suspect it might be useful for afcads and layouts but not really bringing in the buildings but maybe I am wrong.

Hi everyone. I expose my problem, which appeared in these days after months of perfect functioning: I try to launch FS9, as usual administrator, etc., so I confirm with YES and .... nothing happens anymore; a few seconds of the blue circle that turns and then stops; raise a second time, I confirm and, this time, fs9 starts immediately !! The problem appeared both on a pc with win7 32 and on one with win7 64. I tried to remove the KB3086255 update as suggested on the internet (but for the total failure to start FS9) but nothing. Ive been using fs2004 recently with no problems then all of a sudden today I can't access any addon scenery. I get this message for all of them (about 30 files) on start up. Scenery.cfg error. Remote Scenery Directory C; (then the filename) not found. The only thing different I have done recently is to install FS Global weather but can't see how that would affect it. Any ideas or fixes please?

Hello everyone. After 10years i had to reinstall FS9 due to HDD crash and now i'm getting Net Framework Error when trying to launch AI Separation tool. The only thing i was able to find about that is net framework 1.1 must be present, which i allready have. Any ideas would be very appreciated. Thank you error screenshot

I had an attack in mid June by a scam under the heading of "Microsoft / Norton" warning me that a file had been damaged and further files would be damaged in two minutes if repair action was not taken. By them, of course. The only way that this "WARNING" could be removed was to reboot. FS9 has been installed and uninstalled so many times since then that it almost does it on it's own. I have spent since June to get the sim working again and have at last managed it. However, the option of undocking the panel and moving it onto a second monitor is greyed out. Hi, I am trying to use the default Grand Caravan from a cold start as this is what Air Hauler dictates. What ever I try I cannot get it to start, it makes a bit of noise and then goes back to silent. Are there some instructions I can follow? Ive done a search and nothing comes up now that FS9 is old and so Im stuck. Thanks

Unlike FSX, I found that the default jets (734, 773, etc) in FS9 have no blank/white textures- only repaints for the default airlines. I would like to see if I can paint some of them, but I can't do it unless I have a blank texture to work with. After doing a few searches involving certain keywords in the file library, I wasn't able to find any. Does anyone know of any blank textures that I can paint on for these aircraft, and if so, where might I be able to find them?

Hi guys does anyone know if there is a tool to create VC camera and recall them via a shortcut? In fsx/p3d I use ezca. I'd like to create many different camere in VC and recall them when I need, one PFD, other throttle, other overhead and so on... In FS9 there was Active Camera but can't do a good job. Any else?

Hi to all, yesterday I reinstalled the venerable FS9 to test on my pc (in my sign). It's works fine but: 1) I'm suffering a lot of shimmering and flickering all around. And have too many jerky lines on runway and on the wings. I'm using nVidia Inspector, but seems that it has no effect on FS9.exe 2) can someone share its graphic settings and inspector setting? 3) I have problem to access the menu when I am in full screen mode, ALT key can't work. After many years of no issues with Windows XP/FS9 i have a problem. I cant connect to Vatsim via Squawkbox. I have the latest one and have been using it with no problems for years. My third party weather engine works fine ,FS9 works fine,internet works fine.Basically everything works except being able to connect to Vatsim no mater which Vatsim server i try When trying to connect i get ....(Protocol Error) connection timed out or connection refused. I downloaded FSInn/copilot installed it,it ran fine once,and after that same problem as with the squawkbox. After searching it could me the ports,modem/router, firewall ,I am lost. I find that I am pretty much at an end of the photos of Canadian airfields that I have taken or collected over the years. Plus the download numbers have been decaying, along with my interest in making more scenery. Bored? Whatever. So if someone has a local airfield (not an airport, I never flew to large airports and never made scenery of them) and a camera and can provoke me into action I would be interested. Change that first sentence to "at an end of photos of all airfields I have ever been to including Canada, England, West Indies, Alaska, and Idaho".

Hey Guys. I'm getting blurry mesh and mesh that seems to take forever to get crisp. I have a very fast computer. A fresh FS9 install. Other than airports my main addons are Ultimate Terrain USA, Ground Environment Pro, REX OD for clouds, FS Global Real Weather for wx updates, and Zinertek Water. I'm assuming my fs9.cfg will need some tweaking, but unsure exact changes to make. Anybody have any pointers? Hello folks... Just installing FS2004 again, got tired of X-Plane sucking framerate down so often and thought it would be fun to fly the old standard again. Having a blast! However, I think I distinctly remember having a laser light show on the face of Grand Coulee dam in the scenery at some point. If I remember right, it would activate only at night? Does anybody have any idea of that which I speak? I have looked over the internet and the file library here but only see one Grand Coulee dam file listed and it doesn't reference a laser light show at all. Hi As the title says I'm looking for the profile of Nemeth AS350 for HTR (FS2004 version). As Hovercontrol.com shut down most of the HTR profiles aren't accesible anymore, particularly the FS9 ones. I've tried recover it using archive.org but it isn't available. And sadly google doesn't give any alternative. I would appreciate if someone could share it again. Thank you in advance. Regards
