I'm looking for AI Smooth for FS2004 & was told it was here but library searches get nothing.....can someone help me as I keep drawing blanks.

Hello Is anyone aware of any light models that are just the light orb. I am adding some lighting to scenery however all I can find are street lights with poles, I was thinking of there are lights that do not have poles it may be less heavy on the system as it does not have to show the pole objects. Hello pilots! I have a problem with Shockwave 3D lights and generaly with all light effects (nav, strobe etc) with the models that have flexible wings because the light is steady but the wing is moving! Is there any way that we can disengage the flexible wing, and if yes, does this affect the flying dynamics or is just a visual thing? Thank you!

Folks, KJAX (Jacksonville International Airport) is nearing final release. I can certainly, without hesitation, assure everyone that this project is of payware quality. In collaboration with D. Hi I try and use photo scenery quite a bit around airports using FSearthtiles and I also have the old photoscenery installed for England and wales (shame there was never one released or Scotland). I have had the autogen files from a site called Shep's trees ( unfortunately the site vanished) installed for many years but the coverage is not so dense as I think most contributors used the annotator to place trees which takes an epic amount of time. However I am really starting to dislike the lack of autogen when using photo scenery. I saw something about creating autogen from Open street maps however in the fs developer guides it says its FSX only so I left it at that. …

Hi guys, I wanted to share some thoughts and ask for your advices have about flightsim. I own a laptop with it 8th gen and uhd620 as Igpu, and I would like to do some flights with fs2004. With this setup I can maxout fs2004 with no issue. I would like to fly liners and do long hauls increasing the SIM rate when I am enroute, let's say I want to fly between London and las vegas, reducing the enrout time simulating at 8x. I don't have high expectations in terms of planes and addons. Can you guys suggest some b737 freeware that can simulate cold and dark and use FMC? I don't need the pmdg or ifly level of details. What about environment add-on? Are there freeware stuff that …

Hi, I've been exploring a game based on German WW2 night fighters and was wondering if I could emulate some of the bombing runs between England and Germany (to then try and intercept the planes with a night fighter). I have the wings of power add on, of WW2 aircraft including Avro Lancaster bombers which are user planes. So what I would need to do to "renact" these flights is incorporate them into the AI system and setup the runs. Although you can't shoot them down in FS2004 you could ram them if you can track them down. Any one have a sense of if this is feasible and the steps involved. Currently I can't see how the program differentiates between user and AI airc…

Dear All, I have FSDreamTeam Chicago O'Hare (KORD) installed in my FS9 scenery. The issue that I have is that if I fly into KORD, the scenery doesn't show up and all that I have are the runways and the AI aircraft. However, if I load KORD from the Go to Airport tab, then everything is there. May I ask if anyone can help me with this problem? Best regards, Peter Keenan

Hi I'm thinking about to buy the combo GNS 530+430. After spent some searching info about the two options (RealityXP and Mindstar) I have doubts which one could be the best option. Both options offers great features, but the greatest difference, as far I've seen, its the AIRAC data: Mindstar offers its own product (realNav) $39.95 RealityXP offers an very old one and, as I've checked in their support forum, it's really complicate update it (even with legal problems). Mindstar it's more expensive, but, in my humble opinion, I think it's worth it thanks to offer this updated service. But, call my attention a lot users still prefer RealityXP. Maybe …

I haven't been able to get this plane to start up since the day I got it. But I thought I'd break her out again and have another try...And I'm still just as stumped as before. The engine spools up and dies... it's like the fuel is cutoff no matter what I do. Any Ideas?

I bought the PMDG 747-400 Queen of the Skies for my FLIGHT SIMULATOR 2004 and after filling the request it key the CD can't find my FS9 , I have 2 copies install in windows 10 one in C flight simulator and the other in C programs microsoft games bla bla bla, both work perfect, any ideas?? thank you Alex Riggio

Hello folks! Well, I moved up from Windows XP to Windows 10 Home last week and have FS9 running like a top in almost every regard, save one. I cannot seem to get my Carenado aircraft with the 530 GPS to display in the panel (neither cockpit nor virtual cockpit). The panels are there, but they do not have any power. I know this is not just affecting Carenado aircraft as I have another from Flight1 that is doing the same thing, a panel spot for it but no display showing. I am wondering if it has something to do with the fact that Windows 10 is 64 bit and perhaps the 530 cannot operate in a 64 bit environment? I wonder if any of you have gotten this to work correc…

Hi All I have a lot of woa AI aicraft installed in FS9, which are great. Now that WOAI has been dormant for some time it means newer liveries for airlines are not available. How is anyone here getting around this are you painting the updated liveries or are there some awesome people out there still updating AI aircraft?

I have nearly finished installing FS9 into Windows 10. It has all gone rather well, however, I still have a few problems. Fs Navigator is not quite right but i'm working on it. Another problem is the time zones. UK show US tjme and visa versa. I can't quite work it out. So has anybody got any idea of how to put it rjght, It's not a serious problem, just annoying. I put my PMDG 747 and MD11 downloads onto a disc.but even though I have all the correct passwords etc they will not validate. I just get an error message with access denied. Hi, Never had a problem with fs9 with this problem before. After the dst change on sat nite, I turned on computer sunday morning and started fs9. It started generating scenery index's and then the scenery cfg as it has always done when the time change. This time right ater this fs9 did not do anything and I got the message your computer has run out of available memory and it exits right away. I have plenty of memory and hdd space. I had my last backup on Nov 2nd prior to time change and reinstalled the total backup of entire disk and restarted and fs9 worked fine. Changed the date to today Nov 4th and fs9 went through the entire process again and same result as before…

Long time old lurker, first post. Problem is crackling sound. Set up runs audio and video perfectly, except FS9, when run on either XP,7,or 10, then the sound is very crackly, sometimes with an echo. (Currently only windows 10 installed.) I have tried two different NVIDIA cards, GT 710 and GT 1030 and the sound crackles whether the sound output is via the HDMI port to the monitor, or via the onboard integrated sound. Without a GPU card the sound is perfect but the video poor. Set up, (Don't laugh!) Dell Optiplex 745 Intel Q6600 quad core 2.4 GHz 1Tb drive. (It is only a backup for another setup that runs FS9 really well) Any suggestions welcome!!

Playing with some FS2004 scenery and I seem to be missing some of the Nova textures. I've found a mix with Loney's and others scenery objects as well as novagt1.zip and novatxt3.zip, but still seem to be missing others in the series. The Nova site is long gone, so I was hoping a FS2004 user might have copies. I have a gap in numbering, but currently looking for nova046 and nova029. I can provide a list of the missing ones that I am aware of if someone has a large collection of the nova, novasim, and novagold textures. Thanks, Ernie.

Hi, I cant make it work anymore. When setting the density at more than 8 fs9 will not generate any clouds. This happens both through AS Evolution as well as the wether themes in fs. I tried to reset the FSCUIPC but did no change. result: no overcast skies anymore. Hope someone knows what to do 🙂
