not sure how to post pictures or i would. so here is cliff notes version of the issue i am having with ADE 9 v1.78. I save and compile with no errors. When i load the sim i notice some of my changes show but most do not not. example i moved and modified 6 buildings that showed up in the new location. however i moved all the gates around and added some but they do not show up. nor does anything i have done with runways or taxiways show up. i am working on a small airport until i get the hang of this. just so confusing that i get no errors and some of the changes show up but most do not. so i am at a total loss. So any help would be much appreciated.

I am returning to Flight Sim after a long absence. I have successfully resurrected my simulator (at least for the most part) and am ready to get back to where I used to be. I bought most of the - at the time - available RXP gauges and still have both the install applications and proof of purchase. For some reason, even though I have run the install programs the gauges do not show up. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? Running FS9 under Vista SP2 Any help would be greatly appreciated. My health has pretty much confined me to the house lately so "virtual aviation" would be a real boon and RXP gauges are the best out there.

Back after a long hiatus , will keep it brief, I'm living in XP world still so Win 8-10 is all new, are people using FS9 on 8.1 or 10? Search function comes up with a miriad of contradictions. Is it Add on dependant? (as in, will some not run on 10 etc) Regards George

Is there a way that I can make a complete, and I mean complete backup of my FS2004 installation? I understand about copying the FS2004 folder, but what else would I need to copy to get a complete, able to transfer to another computer, backup? Thanks!

Maybe I’m just looking in the wrong place but I can’t seem to find an answer to this. My question is, is it OK to have all my addon sceneries/airports activated in the scenery library? Will I see a performance hit by having it all activated? thanks Chris

Good evening everyone, I purchased Eiresim Alicante a while ago for FS9 and FSX. I have noticed that they forgot one simple thing in the scenery! They forgot to actually add 'ALICANTE' to the terminal building in lettering as in real life! Is there an update to fix this? Eiresim it seems have gone so can't ask them and don't know where else to ask! Ii does annoy me that when you pay for a product, it is not correct! its different when its freeware, you can't complain and those guys do a good job in their free time, but when you pay for it, you expect it to be done properly! Folks, I recently purchased the FS2x G1000 package (Don Kuhn?) and installed into FS9 no problem. The website offers a free Quest Kodiak panel upgrade to users that have legitimately purchased this product. (This panel was why I purchased the G1000 in the first place!) The download for the Kodiak is a password protected file that uses the same password as used to install the package once purchase has been completed. Except it doesn't!! The purchase password will NOT open the Kodiak zip file. (I appreciate that this website and it's products might well be long gone but they are still offering stuff for sale.....) I want to close runways on default airport afcad but still have the addon afcad take higher priority (I tried doing this on the addon afcad but the airport still has planes taking off and landing on those runways-I assume it’s because it is reading the default afcad). What steps would I take? Thanks chris porter

AI are landing away from the wind, ATIS and airport assigning aircraft to do so. Didn’t have this problem 5 years ago when I had to break away from FS for a couple years (too much distraction going to college) but now that I have resumed this happens every flight. I input my own weather into the fs using default and I’ve changed nothing on my sim. I run fs9. Any thoughts? Chris Porter

Hi, I've been using FS9 with FSNav and FS Earth on Win 10 for some years, generally without issues. Some months ago FS Earth Link failed to find Google Earth. Since then I've reloaded everything a couple of times, tried a fresh install on another PC, etc, but it still can't find Google Earth. I guess that MS updated Win 10 and moved something, the 'store' of links to programs or similar, maybe in the Registry. Does anyone know where FS Earth Link tries to access Google Earth...maybe I could add a link in there to get it working again? Regards Peter

Hi, do regulars know if these giants of airplane sim developpers are still alive? His cockpits both 2D and 3D and great british planes had unmatched quality from the day they were released in 1998 till when...? i think even today his cockpits are sold by vendors for FSX like VC10, Comet, BAC and HS748

I remember in the good old days there was an utility which instant traffic was generated without the need to use traffic tools or compile a bgl. I could just start any traffic with my aircraft library. Also I remember being able to generate helicopter AI traffic. Another one (if not the same) would create AI traffic to follow your plane with the option of being in formation...I just can't remember its name ... help!!

Hi. I've lost everythig because of a broken HD. I'm reinstalling FS9 an all of the stuff, but I can't found the Flusifix tool in english. The original site was modified and the file is no longer there. If someone has it and can pass me a link I appreciate it (if someone have the FSX one too) Thanks.

When I load airports in Spain and Portugal (including Madeira) I get no scenery objects at all. So all I get are the AI aircraft sitting on top of grass! When I try nearby French airports (Nice, Toulouse and Bordeaux) and they load up without any issues. The rest of my sceneries also work OK as well. I'm not happy when I lose my Flight Sim! For the past few months, I've tried a lot of things to get FS9 working. I've repaired missing .dlls (and yes they were missing off the disk), installed in a non-primary folder, and going through each disk to make sure everything is there. Also, I can't find FS9.cfg anywhere, and I can't figure out where to put it. It's not in Appdata, the game folder, or anywhere as far as I'm concerened. I've also tried terminating rundll32.exe after starting because of how much CPU% it sucks out. I've used addons in the past, so I'm thinking it may have distorted the fs9.cfg a little bit. Please send help, or I might just bash my computer till it…

Did anyone ever get the correct a320.gau patch working after it stopped working with the original a320v22. I have tried about five a320.gau patch files downloaded from various sources with no success. I can get the panel working by loading the ifdg airbus (giving missing gauge message) then resetting date to 2000 and selecting another ifdg aircraft, panel then works perfectly and you can reset date. This has been bugging me for a long time because this really is an excellent panel. Eric no longer supports this and does not answer messages. Where can I get the working a320.gau patch file from? regards frustrated mike

I went to their website today only to find out it went belly up for quite a while so any of you by any chance have it saved on your hd that could send it to yours truly? Or maybe know the guys who made it? I really tried but couldn't find it anywhere else on the net. Thanks for reading.

Hi All, I've not noticed this before so I think it is a new thing on my FS9, if anyone have observations I'd be grateful to see them? Since changing to Windows 10, I've only recently been able to work out (from reading this Forum:-) how to operate the top FS Menu in 'Full Screen' mode. My previous Operating System was not a problem. However, now delighted I could use my Sim of choice (FS9) in 'Full Screen', my Frame Rate seems to be limited to 60fps. Is this as it should be, or have I made a mistake in setting options or something? I have searched forums all over the place and even tried to email Mr. Moliter himself (that email is no longer working) and can not find the answer to this question and it is preventing me from adding any AIA 727-200s. Problem: I had AIA 727-200 on my computer and deleted it by accident so now it is not on my machine at all. However when I open AITM2 and go into the aircraft editor menu (F6) the 727-200 show to still be there. but when you double click the aircraft name it says "system can not find the path specified". i tried reinstalling AIA Boeing 727-200 and it does not help. the system will not recognize the new folder because in it's mind the old one is s…
