I've re-installed FS9 after changing hard drives and changing to Win7 64 bit. I now have 2 SSDs and 1 TB HDD. I have done a complete re-install of FS9 from discs and run it 2 or 3 times with default C172 at Seattle to check it. It takes a lot longer to start which seems odd since I'm now using SSDs and my cursor arrow turns black if I touch the kneeboard, but returns to normal without it. I'm now running in XP SP3 compatibility mode. I've tried to apply the 9.1 update but I get Error 34 and it wont run. I am using FS9 with a matrox triple display. Is there any way I can scale the width of the panels? I have just looked at the Panel Studio manual for the app and which is very comprehensive and all I wish to do initially is resize the complete panel in width only to a third of its original size. (so it will appear normal with the triple head display). I read an post that I thought I understood for tweaking settings and obviously got it wrong and froze the system so any help would be appreciated.

I was thinking of buying their Halifax and Quebec City sceneries and these were once available at Simmarket, but now they are unavailable. All their other sceneries are up so I wonder what's going on?

Hi there, I am running into a bit of difficulty. I purchased Aerosoft’s PFPX over the summer as a impulsive purchase. I do enjoy using it. My problem is flight planning with iFly’s 737/747. I have figured out that iFly’s flight plan files are in what appears to be in a specific format different from FS2004’s native format. So, if I start a flight, I try to load the flight plan in the FMC, I get a message saying there is no flight plan or the FMC doesn’t recognize it or something to that effect. Bottom line is I cannot load a flight plan. When in PFPX, I create a flight using the iFly aircraft template, create a flight plan and when I export the route,…

I have been trying in vain to find Francesco Mandelli's BolzanoVFR (~50 mb zip original but not sure) and ISDProject's MilanoVFR (~63 mb zip original) for FS2004 that were previously available on avsim before being lost in the malicious avsim hack; all my efforts to find them on the web so far have been futile. Would anyone here happen to have said Italian sceneries in their backup or current archives and perhaps either can re-upload them to avsim and/or send them to me or a link from where I may be able to download them? hello all. currently collecting links for a new FS2004 video and I'm stuck. I cannot find FSGlobal 2010 or FSGenesis 19m mesh for sale anywhere. I thought FSPilotshop had the fsgenesis for sale but it no longer exists. i also thought PC Aviator had it but it too no longer has them. they were also for sale on the fsgenesis website as I looked at them a little over a year ago but that website seems to have disappeared. is either package still available? and if not, could you help me gather info on the best packages of hi res mesh that can be easily found and installed? (preferably 19m and 38m. 76m isnt that great) thanks!

Hello friends, happy flying. I'm revisiting FS9 for a bit of fun. A) I'd like to find one big iron plane to fly back and forth between big airports. So far have not seen any freeware that fits the bill. My preference is a jet with lite systems and a visually excellent VC. I'm wondering if pay ware might be the only solution. B) Some of my older favorite freeware prop planes work great for a bit but then lose electrical during flight. Any ideas? Cheers...

Hi All, I'm trying to 'turn off' the default Traffic AI at a specific field as I want to substitute some antique aircraft in their place. Specifically, I am trying to turn off the AI default aircraft at Biggin Hill - EGKB. in the UK. I've looked in the ' Scenery - World - Scenery' folder, where I'm instructed to copy the Traffic file that I'm looking to substitute but without success (or without being able to identify the default file??) I'm something of a computer Numpty it is true but I thought this was something within my meagre capabilities 😞 I would be grateful of any help or advice forthcoming. Kind Regards, Blue

Hey there! I'm a new member in this forum, however I've been a silent reader here for quite some time now. Also I am using FS2004 for several years already. I was wondering, if there is still some decent landclass for the USA available? I'm not so sure about Ultimate Terrain USA and I can't really find FSGenesis's US Landclass online. I know there has been a beta file lcus_09b6.exe around like a decade ago. Nevertheless I can't find it anywhere. Is there anybody who can help me? Thanks a lot and keep the FS9 flying :) Patrick

It seems that Taxi2Gate is no longer available to support their products as I have a problem with the grass at TLPC and their website has zero (0) upgrades for FS9 and no one has responded to my support request. I've seen other messages about this issue, but they were posted years ago and any links associated are no longer working. Does anyone have the upgrade to resolve this that they can share with me? Hello! I m interested in purchasing the QW BAe146! I contacted with Flight1 and they told me they no more sell QW BAe146 for FS2004! In QW site there is SP4 for FS2004 but I dont know if this is a full package or only an update! I m trying to contact with them but I m still waiting 2 days for an answer! So, recently bought SSTSIM concorde for fs2004, but my autothrottle seems to not be working. When I engage it, throttles go to iddle and stay there til I stall or take action. Any tips?

So I’m lined up on a runway and look at my inboard display which shows I am in fact on it but that the runway heading is off 3-5 degrees. I get this all the time. Anyone have this problem? thanks, Chris Porter

Hello all. I am using the Wilco Airsimmer merge by Diego and he was only able to merge the CFM variant of the A320. well we're good friends but He cannot recall much of how he merged the two, only that the IAE model he was given was corrupt and unusable. well 5 years later I have a working IAE model from the Airsimmer and would like to add it to the merge but I'm unsure of how to do it. do you have any ideas or know how? in his CFM model the VC still works for the most part with most buttons clickable. I would like the IAE to be the same.

Searched the forums for all of these questions. will combine them into one post instead of starting new topics for each question. 1) i have the DJC 41 and i paid a guy to paint it for me 11 years ago. problem is on my new system it sinks into the ground. i am not anywhere near talented enough on modeling or painting to figure this out on my own. i am posting the contact points cause doing a google search that seems to be the main thing people say to check for this problem. but no one has said what the DJC j41 points should be. i am hoping someone either has a working copy of the DJC J41 that can see if that is the issue or better yet past a copy of there airc…

Hello FS2004 Enthusiast. Hope everyone is staying safe! Does anyone know of any existing or planned scenery for Argyle Intl Airport in St. Vincent? The only one available allows the airport to exist, but is not the most visually appealing. I've pasted pictures of the actual airport below. There are several options available for FSX, but unfortunately I don't know of any software that could convert it to FS2004. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Regards, Stewie

I have Windows 7, and a slow PC. Running FS2004. I have tryed the beta for FSrealWX 3.0 and ran out of trial date. Is there any other demo WX program out there. I tryed AckiveSky and I think it wasnt compatable for what ever reason. I would use Real WX option with fs9 but it dosnt work anymore, I beleive there is a issue with other people as well. It dosent DL weather anymore.
