Hi folks, Is there any freeware camera add on similar to DBS Walk and Follow? My old PC broke down, haven't used W&F in years. I want to install it on my new computer but after looking at the registration code, it looked like one of those specific to my old PC only. Any help greatly appreciated Thanks

Hi. Have Oryxsim Kelowna X for FS9. Worked fine before 3 days ago. Now when I load CYLW starts to load and gets to loading scenery objects and freezes at 0%. Have at # 1 priority in scenery cfg. No other afcads. If scenery deleted default CYLW works fine. No other scenerys were added. Any ideas would be helpful. Oryxsim was payware but support forum and website gone. Have tried installing in safe mode. If I go to CYVK & slew to CYLW the airport is White with only a few textures-aircraft and sim will freeze. One other kicker, If I change date to Nov. 25-2011 scenery will load ???? Thank-You

This is a rather strange one for me, never had such an issue before! So since sorting out my previous issue with it freezing on the splash screen, I have now got stuck on trying to make AA work in fullscreen mode. In fullscreen, there is no AA and everything is very blurry/jaggy. BUT, switch to windowed mode and it works perfectly as per my nvidia inspector settings 8xSQ 16x etc. I use nvidia inspector 1.9.7.3, Driver version GeForce 353.62 WHQL. I have tried more recent driver versions and it still had the same issue. I have removed FS9.exe from the stock 'MS Flight Simulator 2004' profile setting and made a new one called 'FS9' and applied it to FS9.exe. …

I've developed a problem with Afcad. When I open it, I do not have the full list of airfields throughout the world as I used to. It only shows the one file I have in Add-On Scenery, ie USA/Washington/Seattle, a revised afcad downloaded previously. The File List only shows this file, and the File index also only shows that one. I downloaded a new copy of Afcad and installed it but it gives the same result. I tried an installation on an old laptop, and that collected all the airports and showed them all in the index and file list. I tried copying those new, complete files to my usual computer, but when tried, Afcad overwrote the files with just the 1 Seattle Add-on …

Does anyone else have this issue? At all Fsdreamteam airports I am unable to see the buildings unless I uninstall/reinstall the scenery immediately before each flight. I have had this problem for at least a year or two. I am using Windows 7, not running FS9 in compatibility mode. The problem is particularly pronounced at KORD. Have the latest Addon Manager and everything. Does anyone know a fix or have experienced this?

Hello Everyone, I'm sorry if this has been brought up before. I do need someones help if all possible. I just did a FRESH INSTALL OF FS9. I also purchased the Wilco vol 1/2. Fs9 cranks up fine and I can choose default planes for testing and no problem but when I select any airbus model, it crashes on my. This is a legit download straight from Flitsim. Any sugestion? Dear All, When I try to select an aircraft, I get an incomplete page with only the text and no aircraft image and FS9 then freezes. May I ask if anyone knows how to fix this problem. I run FS9 on Windows 10 since 2017 and this is the first time that this has occurred. I even tried running FS9 with a clean FS9.cfg file, but this didn't fix it. Any help would be appreciated. Anyone have a line on the update files from Overland for their Japanese Airport Series? I suffered a data loss and only have the file for volume 7. I've tried Overland's website and while all the description etc. are there for updates when I try to download them I end up with a page can't be found or similar message. I've reached out to Overland, so far no luck, so I thought I'd see if anyone here has them or has any ideas. I need them all except volume 7. Thanks in advance, and fingers crossed....

Help! I recently installed the ifly 747-400 and i loaded in to select cold and dark as i wanted to start it, after i selected cold and dark in the computer (cant remember the system name off the top of my head) i loaded back to the menu, and when i tried loading back in to perform a startup, the loading hung on 0% and would no go farther and the game would crash, i have restarted my pc, uninstalled and reinstalled iFly, but to no luck, any help would be appreciated! Computer specs: 2007 intel iMac bootcamped with Windows 7, 1gb RAM 2.00 GHZ Intel core 2 Duo, ATi Radeon X1600 128mb.

With all of the freeware and payware airports I use for every one I will use abacus EZ Scenery and static aircraft maker (SAMM) to add objects such as static aircraft extra tugs, stair trucks, belt loaders, baggage carts etc. Many of these objects I use from existing airport sceneries (if able or format correct) but also from existing libraries like ez scenery etc that I have found on avsim, flightsim etc. Now I stress I do this for my own personal use only, I wouldn’t put any of my additions or changes out there on the internet without permissions from original authors. Good afternoon for everyone. My FS9 worked very well until Windows 10 installed a security update (KB5003173) last month, which no longer load the main menu. I've done everything necessary, but without a solution. I uninstalled the KB5003173 and it's back to normal, but without that update Windows 10 doesn't allow me to download others that are vital. Can anyone tell me why it happens, please? My Windows 10 Pro is the 20H2 version. Thanks!

Hi team, Just adding Hawaiian airlines to my sim and they use gate 51 at San Diego, ive got FlyTampa KSAN but it doesnt have the terminal extension. I know LatinVFR's did have that part of KSAN on their scenery, but I cant find anywhere that still sells it. Ive asked on their forum too but does anyone know if its still available anywhere? Dear All, Something has affected my cockpit views. In the 2d cockpit, instead of looking forward, I get the left hand upper view. In the views setup, when I reset the view, I get a blue screen instead of the forward view and then when I try it out I get the forward view for a second and then it jumps back to the left hand upper view. In the virtual panel view, I seem to have the main view but with the addition of a second screen that interferes with it. Hi I am running FS9 in a windows 10 enviroment. I have just installed Active sky advanced and fuisc 3.99 I have configured Fuisc as per the user manual in ASA and it shows up in the modules tab when running FS9 My problem is there is no sign of any ASA involvement even though it is running in the background and I cannot access it without exiting from fs9 as my fs 9 seems to be running in Dos mode Any suggestions would be appreciated

Hi I am working my way through a navigation tutorial by charles Wood using the cessna 172 which has been modified to add digital readout to all the gauges. I am at the stage where he has just added using the "localizer" for landing. It uses the same gauges as for vor 1 and vor 2 but without the functionality of the OBS as it only transmitts one radial ( the runway heading). Well after about a 15 year hiatus from "public" life in the FS world, I am back. I've tooled around, a lot, with the RFP 747 to try and get it to merge properly with the POSKY 747-200, and here is the result. Id like to thank this thread for helping me with the lights. First, the .air .mdl and .cfg file all work in harmony to allow the aircraft to work. I'm in the process of scanning the .cfg file to see whats in it that tips off the anti-merge code to shut down the engines when you load the aircraft in the sim. Hi. There is an option to turn on wing views, but I can't figure how to see the wing views...any ideas?

I like to add scenery objects such as aircraft, stair trucks, beltloaders etc using ez scenery. Problem is when I add scenery and either exit fs, or sim crashes while adding, then I start back up to add more scenery in overhead view—at a certain distance what I added, or what the author added to an airport—disappears, only to reappear when I change views. It can be frustrating trying to add items such as cones on the ground at wingtips as I can’t get close enough on the overhead view to place them accurately. Wondering if there is a solution to fixing this or not. Chris Porter
