Hi, My P3D v4 crashed on me all of a sudden for no visible reason. I was doing a long haul flight on my windows 10 desktop environment from OMAA to CYYZ and I was over the baltic sea when my sim suddenly crashed. I checked the event logs and found interesting log that showed terrain.dll as the cause of error. The log details are at bottom of this post. Not sure why this would happen. Addons I have installed are FTX Global, ASP4 and ASCA (both with latest beta build). ASCA applied Dynamic Weather theme. Hi, I have P3D with various compatible add-on airports, scenery, and planes. I mainly fly the PMDG 777. Before today everything has been perfect with the sim, however after I booted up and started a flight today, it crashed about 3 hours into a 4-hour flight. I've since tried 3 additional flights all with similar results. Does anyone know what could be going wrong with the sim? Best, Leon

Good afternoon Jim, My apologies if this is in the wrong forum. I have just upgraded from Win7-64 to Win10-64. Win10 is working without any issues except for FSX (box). FSX will load, but it is a slow process, but once loaded it seems to function without any problems with AS16 and my 3rd party sceneries and aircraft. It is just a slow a touchy process getting them to load. Yesterday I flew the PMDG B777 from KDFW (FSDT) to KMSP(Fligthbeam) using AS16 without any problems or memory issues. For the past could of days I have been getting a WHEA Uncontrollable Error BSOD, I have run everything from driver updates, chk dsk, dism, sfc and couldn't find a solution. I have just run Prime95 and the BSOD happened within minutes of using it, luckily I installed BSV therefor I have the information needed to diagnose what is causing the issue, but I don't have the knowledge so therefor I am seeking help here as a last resort.

Hi, I have two errors messages when using FSX steam edition. I get an ''GDIPLUS.DLL'' error when i switch between the PMDG livery's or other standard airplanes within the FSX-SE menu. When i switch 3 times i get this error. But when i finished loading an PMDG or standard aircraft, after 5 seconds i get an ''MSVRC80.DLL'' error. Just recently, I had an error called ''PMDG_737NGX.DLL'' but that problem has been resolved. I downloaded wrong graphics drivers. At that moment I could not switch between the PMDG livery's. Well I switched over to P3D v4 from FSX and I got a CTD coming into CYYZ. ai_player.dll was the culprit. Anyone else have this issue as well in V4? PMDG 777, Orbx scenery, MT 6. I hope it was just a one off, and yes I have read the AVSIM crash guide. Thanks Darcy

Hi hope someone point me in a way to figure this out I have very recently started get a fatal error message every time I start p3d v3.4 but I'm totally at a loss to see whats causing it. I also have p3dv4 installed on the same drive also in the same directory but they are in seperate sub directories. The best I can figure is it is one of three potential things that have caused it but no real proof. Hi Guys So I tried no less than four times to fly with the FSLabs A320 in P3D V3.4 today, and every time after about 15-20 minutes I would get a CTD with the faulting module nvwgf2um.dll. I know this is something Nvidia related. I've tried two sets of drivers, the brand new ones (382.33) and the old faithful ones that used to work well with my GTX 970 (376.33). I uninstalled with DDU and Ccleaner etc. I can't get rid of this error. This is on a completely fresh install of Windows 10 and P3D too. I've got no tweaks in the CFG file at all. hi, I'm at tipping point with fsx and my computer due to this MSVCR80.dll causing my computer to crash while playing fsx:SE. This has been ongoing for 4 months (since i had the Brand New computer) at almost every attempt to play the game, sometimes 5 minutes after takeoff, sometimes 2 hours into flight (strangely never on the ground, always during flight). Ever since I bought FTX Trees HD and openLC NA, everytime I launch P3D, it always says it is "Building New Database for scenery". I didn't really mind it, although it was odd, P3D worked normally. Although, after I was flying earlier to JFK, I closed out of the sim like normal. Now, I try to open it back up, and it loads the scenery database, then waits a few seconds, loads something else (it said scenery something, it goes by too fast) and then the Splash screen goes away, and P3D and SODE are running in the background of my sim. Hellooo I recently downloaded OrbX and I have encountered a strange CTD error when it tries to load the weather. I can load upto the first 5 seconds of a flight, get into the cockpit and then it crashes. It also does this with Rex 3 but not with FSXWX or REX WX Architect. I have tried using the CTD Bible but the resolutions didn't work. I also have no weather stations in the FSX map and I think a free trial of FSC was the trigger for receiving the CTDs. When I use a program that creates it's own weather stations such as FSXWX or REX WA, I don't get this issue. Any advice would be appreciated :)

I do like the TFDi 717 in terms of how the product has been designed and presented, but I'm one of the unlucky ones who has been plagued with constant CTDs - some as soon as I try to load the 717 in FSX, some when it has loaded and I try to access something from the FSX menu (eg. FSUIPC), and some that start well, but a CTD occurs after 15-30 mins. I don't have FSL Spotlights installed, or any of the other programs that potentially cause a conflict. I just did a nice clearing of my SSD and a fresh install of windows 10 on it and installed my sim and just the addons I needed for my flight. I'm in flight right now and I have been for the past hour and a half at the time of this post but for the past 30 minutes or so, while at cruise every 8 seconds to a minute, FSX just freezes and says "Not Responding" for about 20 seconds and goes back to normal for another 10 seconds or less. I tried saving the flight and restarting my sim but that did not work. I have FSUIPC autosaving my flight every 200 seconds but I'm not sure that really has to do with it. Hi everyone, I have this very weird error everytime I try to close the main door (shift+E). After opening the door without any problem, as I retype Shift+E to close the main door, fsx crashes to desktop. This happens with every kind of aircraft, both default and addons, and it happened yesteday the first time without installing any new addons or any other modification to the system. I just got back into flight simming after a 10 year break, and wow, the community is more dynamic and bigger than ever. I had no idea. Well, I purchased FSX Steam last week and have been having a consistent problem where my second hard drive, D:, (internal, SATA, WD Green) occasionally spins up for no reason at all. This causes FSX to freeze for 15 seconds while I hear the drive finish spinning up, then I get the "FSX has closed" message and it crashes. Very aggravating after finishing a 1-hour flight in my LD 767. For the time being (last night) I have tried turning off indexing on that D: drive, but I have no idea if that will help. So I did a fresh install of FSX Acceleration. I use lots of add-ons: FTX/Orbx, REX TD, EZCA, FlyTampa, Flightbeam airports, Aersosoft airports DX10 fixer, PMDG, FS2 Crew, GSX, FSUIPC, SODE, AES, etc. The day I finished reinstalling everything I have been getting ApphangB1 crashes 100% of the time. I have done the same FSX.CFG tweaks, so this isn't the issue. This is a total nightmare, the act of a fresh install consumes several tedious hours just to finish with an unplayable program.
