Hello, At the last time my P3D V4 is freezing after few hours while I'm flying on the PMDG aircrafts, the thing is that my P3D is keeps running in the background and my plane is keeps flying (according to VATSPY for example) and if I'm pressing any buttons I can hear that like disconnecting auto pilot, auto throttle etc. I've tried everything, following the general debugging steps, doing twice a format to my computer and checking out the addons that I've installed. Hello everybody, I´m having problems the last couple of days having FSX quit after clicking the menu bar. I have checked the UIAutomationCore.dll, have copied the suggested version into the FSX folder checked everything like in the AVSIM_CTD_Guide described. Seemed to be working until today. I wanted to fly from EDDM to ELLX with the PDMG 747-400F V3. After lining up on the RWY and clicking the View Menu to switch to the lower upper panel to turn on the lights etc. FSX crashes. Hi All. Nobody like a CTD. And I am even further frustrated due to my lack of knowledge with this new high-end rig of mine. I was experiencing them for the past month and decided to do a complete uninstall and re-install of P3Dv4. My first real test flight at a gate in EDDF and "poof" All gone. Hey guys, my sim just crashes after about 30 mins playing, it just stops and my mouse hand turns to a spinning wheel endlessly and I have to get out by hitting the windows button on my keyboard. It usually happens after about 20/30 mins too. There is no 'fatal error message' or anything though, it just stops with the noise still going on in the background for a short while then it totally stops. My knowledge on most things PC based is extremely limited but I have certainly tried. For the last three weeks I have struggled with the worst problem I've experienced in 19 years of flight sim. That is the FSX freeze phenomena after about 20 minutes of operation. I've been studying uiatomationcore.dll and a host of other things that ultimately lead nowhere to a solution. For the third time or fourth time I'm considering a FSX re-install. Hello! The problem appeared several times, though irregularly. It is about P3D freeze during the approach, usually within close proximity of the airport (40 nm). The simulator hangs, the cursor turns, loads, and when I click on the screen I get the message that P3D has stopped working and all I can do is close it. There is no rule of thumb for the scenery - I came up with an approach to LSZH, EPWA (precisely over the EPMO), and today while approaching the FSIA. Strangely, the EDDF-OMDB flight in the B777 was a success. I suspected that this was happening while loading the scenery. Ok. This one is strange. I was flying in P3D and everything was fine. Shut it down and came back to it later. Double clicked on the P3D icon and it starts with the logo. As soon as UT Live starts it shuts down and goes away completely. No error messages etc. The funny thing is when I go into task manager it says it is running. This is driving me crazy. I uninstalled and reloaded and I am still having the same issues. I deleted UT Live and still have the same issue. Please help. Thanks.

Hey everyone, longtime lurker turned member here. I'm having a bit of a common issue which I've tried to troubleshoot. In short, I get the familiar hang up at the splash screen for P3D v3.4 where the splash screen vanishes after scenery loading and simply hangs as a background process. This occurred shortly after installing some add-on scenery for a while, then removing it. I have narrowed down the issue to the scenery loading in particular. If I make a change to the scenery.cfg file (say, turning a bit of scenery off), P3D rebuilds the scenery and then launches without issue as normal. Hi, I have a an issue with a nvidia graphics driver, I have both P3DV3.4 and P3DV4 installed, I was running nvidia driver V368.81 for however long it's been out with good results and I just updated the graphics driver to V385.41 and P3DV4 seems a more stable with this version but I now get a g2d.dll freeze in P3DV3.4 only with this driver installed, V4 I don't have any problems, V3 will load with the default flight but I have no control over the menu I mean no click spots work, I can change views with a joystick button but only the sound changes but no view change, nothing on the screen works, if I revert back to V368.81 P3DV3.4 is back to normal again, any idea's? …

I have no idea what happened there I was flying the PMDG 777 and as I flew through the clouds the sim crashed! I gathered as much info about the crash but windows only gave me this information, some "Application Hang" Someone help me! There seems to be a real issue with adding scenery (V4 compatible) to P3d. I frequently get crashes after often installing a scenery (via installing into root folder). Is this a well known issue or any help you can give me? Alex

Hey all, I thought I'd throw this one out there since Im not having luck finding a solution anywhere. Im in the process of switching to P3dv3. Ive been a FS2004 user for over a decade, but it still is my old standby. The problem Ive been having has just started a few weeks ago, but has carried over to both FS2004 and P3Dv3. As the title states, I get an APPHangb1 in both FS9 and P3dv3, at random times. In FS9 its completly random. In P3d its when I use the 2d panel. If I select an A/C, load the flight, the 2d panel loads. If I select a pop-up panel (ie in the iFLY 737, select the FMC pop-up) the panel flashes on screen for a split second, then the sim freezes. Recently I did a flight from KSEA to KJFK using the PMDG 737 on Vatsim, and as I was about 20 minutes from landing I noticed the lower panel beneath the PFD and the ND were colored not in the default metal, but instead in very blurry ground textures. I cycled through a number of cameras using Chaseplane in both the VC and external views, and out of curiosity I attempted to turn on the dome light on the top panel in hopes that it might effect the lighting in a way that might get rid of this bug. I did several day landings on LOWW runway 34 and there were no problems while at the first landing at night, about 10 miles from the same track there was a CTD. So I was about two hours into my flight, about 160nm off of the top of descent, and my sim begins to freeze. I would freeze for about 30 seconds, continue for 5 seconds, freeze again for 30 seconds and so on... Even when in the menus such as the controls menu or the settings menu in flight it would freeze like this, the whole program just kept doing this cycle. I had to quit the simulation in the end. Please note, it never crashed, no matter what I tried to do, it never crashed, just froze. I have a feeling someone might mention VAS to me, but I'll wait for the replies. Hi, This is a frustrating problem. I have v3.4 installed and a couple of weeks ago P3D started CTD while loading terrain after starting a scenario. This would happen at about 25% during the load. Never happened before. The only thing that changed after my last successful flight was that I downloaded and installed some of the 55% off scenery ORBX had on sale. I tried all the old tricks of deleting cfg, shaders etc. Even deleted the new Orbx stuff. Nothing worked. So, I decided to stop troubleshooting since v4 was being released.
