I have the same issue since yesterday. FSX-ACC was running fine for years. I have changed nothing and have nothing installed yesterday. No error code,only "FSX has stopped working.....". Any help is appreciated. Mike

My friends, I think most people running P3D are aware that many in our community suffer from Out of Memory errors (despite using the recommended methods to avoid them) and there are also those who like me don't have this problem. While reading a particular post this evening, I wondered if DX11 doesn't have some residual mirror allocation going on, or if there might otherwise be some relationship between OOMs and those with video cards that contain higher amounts or VRAM. hi when i try to start my fsx a message says it is not working and closes the program. the problem started when I upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10

I have also posted this on flightsim but thought maybe someone will see it who doesn't go there. Hope that's ok. About two months ago I bought a new computer and, of course, it came with windows 10. I read as much as I could about the FSX problems, then went ahead and began installing FSX Deluxe. Everything went well all the way through FS Global Asia, Europe, and the Americas. I kept starting FSX to make sure the installs went well. I was finally installing Aerosoft products (the first 5-6 went well) then all the sudden I got the "fatal error msg. Four times now my flight gets cancelled almost before landing with a message saying Your computer have run out of avliable memory please restart prepa3d . I never had this before only when I ran PMDG 777 Prepar3D stops working I have geoforce GTX 1070 8 GB video card and my computer my installed memory is 24 GB and used is only 16 GB Processor is intelcore I 5-4690k CPU 3.5 GHZ Can some expert tells me why it keeps crashing and what should I do Programs used : Prepar3D v3.2 Rex essentials one drive - Rex HD airports FTX global . So P3D has been crashing since today mid flight, I honestly don't know why does it keep crashing all I know is i'm suddenly flying and it freezes after that Windows tells me the usual Prepar3D is not responding. Hi all, I wonder if someone can help me? because I have run into an issue I cannot fix. I have just reinstalled FSX SE back onto my win 7 64 bit machine. It is stock standard with no tweaks to the config. When I go to the setting screen and after adjusting the items I need to adjust I click on the "OK" button and then the game freezes causing a shut down and restart. It does not matter which of the tab screens (display, aircraft, scenery, weather and traffic) I am on it happens on all of them. Hi, it would be really helpful if anyone could help me I fly 90% of the time in the PMDG 777 and I always get an OOM error on final My specs: Inter® Core2 Duo CPU E7500 @2.93GHz 2.94 GHz RAM: 4.00 GB (3.00 GB usable) 32 bit operating system. I know its not suitable for gaming I never get OOM when using default airports but when I use da freeware airports the VAS reduces rapidly during touchdown and I get an OOM error. Hi Jim! I did everything you said and keep getting the undhandled exceptions :( I looked at the windows event log and also saw that FSX tries to disable the Desktop Window Manager, maybe its related? Don't really know what to do, since ive disabled UAC and shared all the folders related to FSUIPC and all addons... I am working through the nice CTD Guide you have on this forum, trying to find why FSX is hanging on my Win7x64 PC, and before I get into posting tons of info and stuff about my PC and what diagnostics I have done, I have a question. I did a clean uninstal and reinstall of P3D and I keep getting this application error... Its beginning to ###### me off by the fact that FSX likes to crash after opening a menu 10 times into the game or so. Never happened to me before.

..a day without CTD is not a day ...... Can't complete a single flight without CTD and each time I get a different *.dll message ... didn't, even, know there are so many *.dll files ...lol Thought SE will do a better job handling FSX ... but was wrong ... maybe it's time to quit or try X-Plane. Hello, I've got a pretty big problem here... I'm getting CTD:s, all the time. It's not a Out of memory, it would happen at gate, in the air, before landing, taxiing, you name it! Doesn't matter if I'm flying at a dense scenery with the PMDG 737, or everything default, sometime it will crash. I won't get a error message, It's just like this: P3D Freezes - sounds on. P3D sounds off, task manager detects "P3D doesn't answer". Cooling fan starts. Crash to desktop without warning or anything. Cooler stops.
