Hi there, Just reaching out to anyone who can help. I have P3D CTDs when flying PMDG 777-300ER. Scenario: I load PMDG from P3D scenario screen in clod and dark panel state. Am testing on the stock YMML to YSSY route. Once the 777 is fully configured and the PFPX route loaded, take off is smooth from Melbourne. CTD occurs either just before reaching cruise of FL370 at FL340 or during the descent between FL200 and FL120. Every other route I fly in any other region, the same thing occurs.. why does p3d have so many ctd issues in the newest updates seen way too many crashes ???????????????? i kinda frown on doing updates wen somthings working you dont fix it and then break it lol ha n ways i find it madding that p3d keeps going with updates with ctd issues Lets Hope the next editon they fix ctd issues.

Two CTD's today 1st flight after 40 mins enroute, 2nd flight after 20 mins during pushback. Can anyone help with this as I am completely flumoxed! Since moving to FSX-SE, following a brand new install, and an upgrade to i7 6700 not OC. With 16Gb RAM 3200Mhz and a GTX 770 4gb, I have had numerous OOMs, which I never had with FSX. Now today, i loaded the A2A 182 at Orbx Harvey Field in PNW. Autogen Dense, LOD at 6.5 all the usual things turned down, nothing different from previous flights. Within 30 seconds of climbing into the cockpit, the dinging bell started to suggest an OOM. I've had a bit of an unfortunate run of late and could use some help. Bought a new machine and installed FSX just fine. Things were good but not perfect. I couldn't get most of the JustFlight add-ons to install. The installation wizard would start and then crash for most except for the Wilco 777, and the JustFlight Traffic X and C-130. I would asso get the occasional crash in flight, and then when I finally got the PMDG 772 I read the note about installing outside the program files folder getting better performance. Hi, Although I bought P3D v3 when it got released, I haven't really had the time to do a full flight until recently. I did a couple overnight flights (as I used to do with FSX) and I'm getting a strange CTD every time, in the middle of the night. Firstly, I will of course try the flights again with all addons disabled, but I have not gotten there yet and I thought maybe someone could tell me what the issue is before I start disabling stuff. Ok so during my past few flights fsx decides to keep freezing mid flight(sound but no movement), the first few times I just restarted the system, but after the 4th time I just left it, after about 10 minutes it just comes back again and goes normally. I've been able to do a couple of flights like this, but it gets really annoying because the freezes can occur hourly, I've tried it without affinity mask or buffer pool tweaks, only highmemfix and fiberframetimerefraction=.15, but it doesn't change anything at all. Hello. Recently I have been dealing wit P3D v3.1 freezing, hanging up, and then crashing to the desktop. This only happens when I use the windows key to select another application to use during a flight. I use Aivlasoft EFB, so it's virtually impossible for me to fly without doing so. I'm very confused about this issue as I haven't touched hardly any settings or installed new addons in quite some time, and I never used to have this issue. Hello, I have a problem with P3D. Whenever i do a flight, and when im in the cruise i for example open chrome, after a couple of minutes P3D crashes. If i dont open chrome or any other application it's fine. But as soon as i start doing other stuff on my pc, P3D crashes again. Any solution for this?

Hi, I am hoping for some help having hit a brick wall with the infamous 8 minute freeze on FSX! 18 months ago I noticed I would get the 8 minute freeze, probably every 20-25 minutes of flying time... I noticed I didn't get this over the UK where I have VFR scenery so tried turning off Autogen which cured the problem.... I have done multiple mid haul flights, UK-Dubai, UK-Canaries, UK-Cape Verde etc without issue. Like so many others, I too have been plagued by the dreaded OOM errors with FSX and P3D. The only aircraft I can fly with FSX are simple props from Carenado and that's with autogen at sparse and scenery complexity at "normal." And the Active Sky 16 I just bought is pretty much useless in FSX. I've sent a refund request for P3D. Thankfully, I still have FS2004 for my airline simulation. My question is how does anyone run FSX or P3D without memory errors? I understand the whole VAS usage but since both are 32-bit programs, shouldn't everyone have the same problem? Hi I am consistently getting a CTD when using P3D V3. It usually happens about 5 minutes after I load into an airport. I have checked my windows event viewer and I believe it maybe the KERNELBASE.dll that is crashing my sim. Has anyone had this issue or know how to resolve it? Thanks in advance. Hi Guys, I have been continuously having problems. Just haven't posted anything as of now. It's a mix of freezing upon minimizing P3D and coming back to it, but the latest log from AppCrashView is that it froze midflight and the "P3d has stopped working" notification has come on. Hi, I've been out of my sim for a little more than a month now. Today, I was flying on vatsim from DFW to CLE only to be greeted with a freeze during my approach. I have no scenery for KCLE, but I do for KDFW. Usually whenever FSX hangs or crashes, I know the drill. Check event viewer and look for an error. My system is W10, i7-4790 CPU, 64-bit, 32 GB RAM, GeForce GTX 980 Ti (latest drivers). I run P3D V. 3.4. For the last 4 or 5 months I have been having CTD’s while I have P3D open. I just had a hang (freeze) about 20 minutes after taking off. On a flight from KORD to KIAD in the PMDG 777 with ProATC-X and AS16 running in the background. I had default scenery loaded but I used FSDT's KORD. All it said was the application was not responding and asked me if I wanted to close it or wait until it responded. Heavy rain in and out of Chicago with a major overcast to about FL100. I had tons of VAS remaining (1146028) although VAS goes up and down so fast it could have ran out of VAS for a second. I received a 'low on resources' message during the last two attempts at the Majestic Q400 tutorial flight. Today I tried the tutorial using the Virtualcol Dash8, a less graphically and memory intensive aircraft and the flight went fine. During the flight I ran Process Monitor to see if I could pick up on any issues. It all looked pretty normal, but I noticed that the Orbx Monument Valley scenery kept popping up in the monitor even though I was near the Great Lakes area of Canada. OK fellas, this is driving me crazy and I really need some help. I've just had a rebuild completed which effectively is i7 6700 Skylake with 16Gb 3200Mhz Ram, GTX 770 4Gb GPU. Two separate SSD's one for Win 7, the other for FSX.
