I've tried my hand at repainting liveries and have conceded its not for me. Does anyone do livery requests? I'm really after a 737 painted in the livery of Air Pacific (I'm planning to start flying as my own little personal VA with Air Pac) and would really appreciate if anyone can paint one for me. Air Pac has 737-700s and 800s I think.I've attached some links to airliners.net where the photos of actual Air Pac jets:http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=8742...&next_id=NEXTIDhttp://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=8558...&next_id=849864Any help appreciated.CheersPharoah

Would anyone be willing to do this? A kind fellow from the PMDG forum offered to do it after they finished with the 747, but since the forum is gone, I have no way of contacting him. Thanks,Adam

Midwest Airlines, formerly Midwest Express, and based here in Milwaukee, changed its paint scheme to reflect its new name. So, when its new B717-200s began to fly out of Milwaukee with the newpaint scheme, there was a phase out of its DC-9s.But the big MD80s are staying, yet only one has thus far been painted in the new scheme. The rest have the new tail logo, as well as the "MIDWEST" name on the fuselage. But they lack the new full blue rear fuselage section, as well as the sharp looking blue engine nacelles with gold strips at the inlets. So far my search for the new paint job is only available (as AI) from PAI on their B717 model. I haven't been able to locate a nice MD…

Hi fellas.Could someone please tell me how to eliminate or avoide patterning on uniform colours? I've done a repaint of a T-6 for FS9. All good, except there's a pattern effect across the surfaces where the colour is uniform. I'm using Paintshop Pro 8, saving the images as 8-bit Bmps. Any ideas?Cheers,Matthew.

Hallo friends -painters.Today I had to send this e-mail to a fellow-painter.quote.....Hello Mr X, In the LIB found "your" repaint of the "Plane" from "Mr Original Publisher" I like this repaint for it`s accuracy, the small..................... . I think you know what I am going to say now , I like this details because I made them MYSELF. Making repaints is very nice work to do and publishing them is OK , but a real genuine repaint is ONLY based on the original livery. All the work has to be done by the repainter HIMSELF. What you did is , copying MY WORK ( partially) and publish it as YOUR repaint. That`s no repainting , that`s PLAGIARISM. You could at least have stated…

Hi, I've done a few repaints of the 737-200, but the interior textures are not showing up. I've found this to be true of every repaint I've downloaded for this aircraft as well. The texture folder contains a "737INTERIOR_T.BMP" with the interior doors, bulkheads, panels, etc., but the textures are just not apparently being applied to the surfaces (everything's gray, insides of the doors are gray, pilots are gray, etc.). I suspect a filename issue. The "737INTERIOR_T.BMP", incidentally, is identical to the one supplied with the Kittyhawk 737-800 base pack and the textures work fine on it.Does anyone know where I could download a copy of the original base pack for the 737…

hi,does anyone have a base fuselage that is not polished aluminium?i use psp 8,and the base psd's do not open correctly, there are no layers, because it does not fully support it i guess,so i was wondering if someone had a psp 8 psd available,or a flattened bmp without the metal textures,of the fuse, wings, tail, and engines,so that i can paint a white aircraft with cheatline.i''ve been trying for a week to make one myself, but i'm not getting very far yet :(thanks in advance,JP.

Hey captains, I paint the PMDG planes quite often and I was just curious to how this Level-D B767 sim paint kit really works. So far I have painted the left side full. I'm not sure exactly how to get it to the left side FUSE without it looking messy. I know there is something in there about flattening all the layers? If anyone has the time to kind of give me a step by step process for this paint kit. Also, how do you get all the files into one..for the repaint manager...? I am curious. Thanks. Scott

Hiya!I am painting up a Thomsonfly.com (TUI) 737-300 (FFX) I have the masters with the basic livery and stuff ready, but when it comes to put the big red thomsonfly.com logo is where the trouble begins. What I do is I put the logo on as a layer, then I select MULTIPLY on it but when I put it on top of the blue background the red on the titles look really really dark and I can't seem to be able to tone the red down so that it looks like it should, the blue on the fuselage is not a layer anymore so the titles are the only layer I am working on.Can anyone help me out on this, I know the solution is pretty easy but I am not really an experienced repainter so... I am using pai…

How do I go about removing the reg and the coloured lines without removing the rivets and markings that are part of the fuselage? Many thanksJason

I was wondering if this is truly the product that is the most compatible to repaint aircraft, or should I purchase Adobe PhotoShop CS2? I would appreciate any thoughts, tips or tricks on how to paint with either program respectively.Regards,

Hi, I'm new at painting, but I have tried to paint the PMDG 737-700 model, but when i came to the engine, there was a text saying: Right top/left top" Then i took my logo (Sterling European) and tried to match the background colour. When i pasted the logo into photoshop the text dissapeared, and the background colour of the logo matched the colour of engine... But when i try the same today, the text won't dissapear... :( Please help anyone...
