please tell me how to customize existing textures, heres what i am trying to do... i want to take a fuselage texture of a plane and paste my own logo on to it, but the problem is that when i try that, the textures dont show up on FS, i have tried a few programs but it still doesnt work. please help me thank you alex

Gentlemen,As part of a tutorial I am trying to describe the relationship between angles and Bezier curves. I need to know what you call the "non-linear" vector curves as displayed in this image I made to help describe what I mean, and what the relationship is between the points on the x axis and the sides of the triangle. I know they are called bezier, but its not actually right as Bezeir developed the computational process for drawing the curve, not the curve.Specifically what is the relationship of side a and the "increasing curve (and this name)" of the Bezier called, and what is the name of the line that donates the difference in the two curves as dictated to by their…

so I figure why not ask the guys who use it most. Just two simple questions about Adobe Photoshop CS2 (hopefully):1. - How does one set a default folder for where I want to save my work? I have checked Edit-Preferences, but see no place to set a path. Somewhere else?2. - I use the Magic Wand Tool a lot. But how do you turn it off? Selecting another tool does not work. Seems t have a mind of its own as to when it is highlighting something and when it is not. Some hotkey perhaps?Thx

Does anyone know where I can find a paintkit for the default FS9 Cessna 208 amphibian?Simviation has a file to download but it only contains a small jpg image and a text file.I've seen references to a painkit by Tony Fosler but I can't find it anywhere.

Aircraft painter needed. Our Vintage fleet is fine but we are in need of an aircraft painter for a complete new look for a modern fleet. Payware and freeware. I am willing to pay for a complete modern fleet.

Im a rookie at painting aircraft, and i use MS Paint and Paint.net v2.6. I have trouble getting shading, and placing logos without disrorting effects. Is there a better paint program to use or one that is recomend? and most of all is it free? Thanks for the help.Pat

Think this is the best place to post this pic and ask for some advice?As you can see my text appears blurred on this repaint of the Eaglesoft Citation IISP. When FS2004 loads it appears really blurred and pixalated then occasionally becomes sharper. Hi there,I am doing my first steps in the world of repainting. I read some tutorials and repainted a PSS A320. The PSS paintkit instruction tells me to save the new image as "32 bit with alpha".But how do I do that? When I want to save I don't see a way to select this 32 bit with alpha option. I see the "Windows or OS/2 bitmap but that will only save in 24bit bitmaps.Help would be very much appreciated.Regards,Arjen

Hello,I have created a livery for my VA and I am running into a problem with the tail. The texture of the tail appears blurry from time to time.I use Adobe photoshop 7 and I transferred a gif or jpeg onto the PSD.Now in FS9, sometimes the tail is blurry and sometimes it's not. I don't get it. I heard about the mips and stuff, I used DXTBMP to take them out but I don't know if it worked.Here is what it says in the botom of the window:512x512 0 Mips 32 Bit 888(8Bit Alpha) Extended BitmapAny help is greatly appreciated Thank you.The plane is the PMDG 737-600 btw.

Does anyone have a copy of this? I have the Lufthansa part, but not the Regional part. I actually have just about everything but the "R" in regional. I could make it by hand but if I can find a good copy it would save me some time. Or if anyone knows exactly what font it is that would work too.

Hi I'm Dave Sweetman.A few peeps might recognise the name from a few repaints I have made for Captain Sims Legendary C-130 package. Well the Captain has been nice enough to give me an advance copy of the repaint kit for their new 757 series that is due to be released soon. I have finished my first repaint and I was just after a bit of feedback. As I knew the C-130 from my military career I can relate to it. The 757 is a different story. Here are a few screen shots.
