Except I cannot locate the BMP. Where are these usually stored?I've looked in the planes texture folders and can't find anything. Is there a default somewhere within FS9? Specifically, I'm trying to change some features on the freeware beechcraft starship. There is definately an interior as i pan around the plane.Thanks.

I am currently using JASC Paint Shop Pro 8 for aircraft texture editing and creating. It is the only program of its kind I have ever used for this application, but nonetheless I find it very good. I have an opportunity to buy either Corel Paint Shop Pro 9 or Paint Shop Pro X (version 10 I think) for a very low price. Just wondered if it is worth me moving from Paint Shop Pro 8 to either of these two versions, and if so which one.Any thoughts on either of these? Hi everybody,This is my first posting on this forum and I guess this is directed to Brian Fletcher regarding his review on the new FS Design Studio V3 and VASS programmes.The review states:-There are three more programs that you must have in order for FSDS to function properly. First you will need to visit the Microsoft download center and pick up Msxml 4. After downloading this file, it can be automatically installed on your computer. The same goes for the other two files, "Make MDL" and "BGL Comp", both of which can be acquired from the Flight Simulator homepage. I have an Edge 540 Aerobatic plane for Flight Simulator 2002 and I would like it to be repainted in the Red Bull design. As I currently don't have the software or knowledge to repaint planes, I could do with a bit of assistance. Please help if you can!

I am currently working on a repaint for the PMDG B1900C using the paintkit from their website. I can't seem to figure out how to paint OVER the windows. I have searched the forums with no success. I have tried working with every layer possible that might be responsible for the windows but cannot seem to cover them up! (the SkyLink cargo plane I am painting has white, opaque windows)This is my first 'real' attempt at a repaint; so far, the paintkit tutorial has been very helpful.Any ideas would be great.I am using Photoshop 7, DXTBmp and the PMDG B1900 Paintkit.Thanks in advance,Al

I have hand painted a B727-200 full bodied aircraft and cannot get it into fs9. I have quite a few documents and none seem to work. Hi folks,just in the process of replacing my UT models with AI Aardvark ones.Would the rendering module recognize the _l files if I placed them in the FS9Texture folder instead of one in each repaint folder ?I would definitely save a lot of disk space but I am really hoping to improve performance.Thanks

I really have a problem : I use Paintshop Pro 9, and i really would like to paint my aircraft with my fictional airline name " Air Sao Paulo" .I want to paint the letters very big on the fuselage..but every time i overpaint the windows !! how can i add text to the fuselage without overpainting the windows ?? Hello,this is actually my first post in this forum and I hope you guys can forgive me not contributing that much, since I am not a frequent repainter :).Currently I am making an attempt to paint the Flight1 ATR 72-500 in Lufthansa Regional (Contact Air) colours and I am having hard time to get the Lufthansa Regional logo on the tail right. I simply fail to add the curved perspective to several dots. Either Corel Photopaint 8 which I am using doesn't have a tool to do so or I can't find it.My question is, if someone here could be so kind and do those 4 x 8 plus a few dots rows with the correct perspective for me? Beautiful livery, but i'm curious since I tried to find a real picture of a plane in this livery, and it's eluded me. Was this series of liveries for a VA of some sort or something?This is the one that's got a white fuselage, but the bottom fuselage is dark blue instead of grey or whatever.

Hi all, hopefully someone here can help me.In photoshop I'm working the Flight 1's MD-80 template, and the template has all the parts of the plane and the fuselage is split in two, the right side and the left side. Now that you have an idea of what I'm talking about, here is my problem. I don't trying to do Allegiant airlines, and the blue paint towards the back of the aircraft, well I've painted the left side quite nicely, but now how do I paint the exact same area on the right side? You know, so that they match up evenly. I'm thinking that their is some little trick that painters use that I'm not yet aware of, being that this is my first repaint. Thanks in advance …

Hi, hope someone can help.I'm trying to do an Allegiant airlines repaint for Flight 1's new Super Awesome MD-80. hehe and Allegiant as you may or may not know has this weird little sun graphic above the "i" in Allegiant and so I'm trying to basically cut and paste that graphic from an airliners.net photo to my new paint. At this point I've pretty much finished painting the airplane except for that graphic above the "i" and the one on the tail. Here's what I did, I used the crop tool (Photoshop) and then cropped the graphic, then I saved it as a new layer, now I'm trying to put it on my template or my "main layer" Is this possible?
