Does anyone know where I can get hold of the default aircraft paint kits for FS9?

Okay I have tried reading the tutorials posted above and still have not found what I'm looking for. What is the easiest way to just masking and area off so that you can paint it in a new layer? I am really new and am using Adobe Photoshop and having a lot of trouble trying to do even the most simple task. I read one of the tutorials that talks about making a curved line and even after following step by step I end up filling the whole template with paint and having to start over. Does anyone know of any updated tutorials that don't lead to a broken link or that actually starts off on baby steps and not on heres the program now lets go paint an airliner.Thanks

Hey,I am searched my bookmarks as well as the different forums. There was a link someone had posted that had a really good site for Corporate logo's. I have the one that is just airlines, but this one was more then aviation and also was very hi-res. Decided I wanted to make an Apple Computer livery and needed some of the logo's they have used over the years. Thanks In Advance.Jhan Jensen

Hi all,I have jumped into doing a re-paint and so far so good, but I have hit a hurdle. The texture for the front end of the fuselage needs to have the word 'RESCUE'. I have applied it to both side (same texture .bmp) but on the acft the stbd side RESCUE reads backward.I have used Adobe Photoshop, so does anyone know how to mirro the text, that is flip it horizontally?Thanks,Sean

Hi folks!I want to repaint the stock King Air 350 in FS2004 with an airline livery. Unfortunately there is only one fuselage texture, which will be applied to both sides of the aircraft. Hence the airline name is read in the wrong direction (right to left) on one side of the aircraft.I conjecture that texture assignments to specific parts of the aircraft are done within the .mdl-file.Therefore I ask you about a possibility to edit the MDL-file (or convert it to FS Design Studio format).Thanks for your help in advance.PS: Just changing the texture names in the .mdl-file using a hex editor did not work. It changes all textures at once.

Hi All,I am looking for either a repaint kit or a set of blank textures for the FFX / SGA DC-10. I know that SGA has disbanded and their website is closed. I am trying to paint the 32bit textures of the above aircraft but when placing files(nomenclature of files is correct)in the FS9, it closes down. I basically at this stage just wanted to have a look without changing the Air cfg.At I convert the PSD to copy bmp then rename the file,place in but no joy,should the CFG be changed if i say change the ATC ident on the tailplane.Regards Patrick.
