Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

This is something a little different than what I'm used to doing, as I've mostly flown modern jets with the two-person crew and FMC. This time, I'm trying a flight in the old Boeing 727-200Adv to see how I manage. This was a short flight from Chicago O'Hare to New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport, and instead of using the airways and waypoints that I'm accustomed to with the modern jets, I'm flying VOR to VOR this time around. So here goes. Here is the aircraft taxiing out of the United terminal. Taking off from runway 4 left, airborne, and gear up. Level at flight level 310. Left turn after overflying the Sandusky VOR. Coming down…

Opening a new connection between Philadelphia (KPHL) and Glens Fall, NY (KGFL). Operated by SkyWest for United Express with a good old Brasilia, Embraer 120. Not really a plausible connection, but this is the occasion to showcase great freeware airports. That was a very pleasant flight : some crosswinds during take off and initial climb (13-15 kts), then smooth climb and cruise and finally moderate turbulence during approach and landing. You can click on these thumbnails to get the full pictures.

Hot summer in the southern hemisphere, it's sometimes fun to jump over the equator and see what it looks like in colder climes. This is a silly flight: stage length is barely 200km, but I wanted to see Gyor-Per in the winter, and see if the Phenom could be used into a tiny strip like Pipishegy. Well it certainly looked cold, performance was pretty sprightly perhaps because of it Interestingly, the little jet stopped quite well on something I would think twice about landing say, a Baron. I'd have been too embarrassed to fly the 5 minutes into Budapest with this, so switched to rotary wing and went in the back door... Scenery: LHPR paywa…

I have to admit, when I first saw this new livery, I was far from impressed. But, for some reason it's grown on me. Anyway, a couple of days ago the new livery was rolled out on N368AA - so I decided to have a crack. This is what I have come up with thus far.. Edit: It's the SkySpirit 767 model.. Hello friends, it has been a long time, but here is a new visual diary of my travels in the NGX, this time, replicating a real world vacation flight from last year. I love to imitate real world flights, usually taken from past flights in flightaware, but it's especially a fun challenge to try to duplicate flights I've been a passenger on. As it turns out, my 2012 vacation to Honduras utilized United 737 NGs for all 4 legs, from my homebase of KPHL to KIAH on 737-900ERs, where I then switched aircraft for a 737-800 for the flight to San Pedro Sulas, Honduras MHLM. I flew all four flights at various times last year on the PMDG birds, and just recently, I completed the …
