The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  3. A long time ago i bought a scenery from a little company called FlyTampa, and my visits to the carribean were never the same. Now they have me hooked with a scenery in a part of the world i never really went to in my sim travels. Off to Dubai and to some amazing visuals!

  4. Here are a few screenshots I took on my routes using the Boeing 737-700 and -600 by PMDG. All use default scenery. Trip #1 Southwest Airlines KMSY-KEYW (New Orleans - Key West) on the 737-700 Pushed out of gate, taxiing to the active: On the runway on takeoff run: Rolling to the right, about to fly over water: Flying over some of what I think are the keys: Just after touchdown: Flight #2 WestJet CYVR-CYWG (Vancouver to Winnipeg) on the 737-600 On take-off run on the active: A nice slice of Canada: These clouds don't look too nice: Cruising at 37K: Finally, landing in the snow at Winnipeg: Thanks…

It took me a long time to decide whether I'd include a German aircraft in my Wings of Prey screenshots. After reading the story posted in the link below I feel I can share some screenshots of German planes now. The Me 262 was one of the more beautiful aircraft in the war, if beauty can be found in war. I'm sure the pilots who flew it were steadfast in defending their loved ones as the war came to a close. It was so heartwarming to read the story found in the link below and I feel it ties in to my series of Wings of Prey screenshots. I hope you enjoy the screenshots. 9. I guess this is the right forum for this.... I have been creating repaints, panels, etc. for my various sims for years. I have been making corresponding screen shots or derivative artwork for longer I think! I decided I would put all this into a collection online called "Project Blue Belle" (you'll see why when you view it...) Lots of propliners and other era related material. Please take a gander. www.projectbluebelle.com I would consider this "beta" as its a relatively new work in progress! Eric

I'd forgotten what a joy cross country fliying is when using Cumulus X and photoscenery. This was taken about half way through my flight yesterday, which took most of the afternoon purely in thermal lift. The flight was in the Aerosoft Discus with a start time of 1.45pm on May 22nd. Take off was with a winch up to 1500' ASL, from Caernarvon, just west of Snowdon, down to Talgarth gliding club on the north slopes of the Black Mountains. I must add that the birds in the picture are care of Cumulus X and not the default ones in FSX... BTW, the stunning scenery is Just Flight's VFR real scenery. However, it's a REAL shame that the rest of the UK doesn't match up to this area…

Well the last time I did a flight to Corfu it didn't so so well. This time no CTD's. BASIP 5A - 04R P-RNAV DEP A healthy right turn... Easyjet off to my left. Gotta watch out for those guys. FL380 .775m Just under 1.3 to run... Just a bit of spoilers needed now... Those are some big &@($* trees on approach.... lol I just love the runway textures. Stand 4 overlooking the terminal. This is a great little gem of a airport. Thanks for viewing. Not sure if I should go east, west, north or south. :unknw:
