Few random shots...The RealAir Scout and the default Lear 45(went old school here) The Scout was in ORBX New Zealand The Lear was on a cross country flight from KCLM to KATL and i believe the shots were taken flying near KJAC(also ORBX scenery) Clouds and WX engine is AS2012SP2beta6 (since they released the SP2 beta it has taken back the crown from OPUS for me) Hope you enjoyed! I run FSX in win 8 Pro, windowed mode, i have two monitors and usually have FSCommander or EFB running on the other.

More Wings of Prey screenshots--this time in the P47 over Italy. Not exactly the most attractive of Allied aircraft in WWII, but the P47D with its bubble canopy looks the best. And Wings of Prey makes it look good. Again I'm flying a non combat, training mission. Hope you enjoy the screenshots! John

Hey guys, I felt like getting back into soaring since I had the Aerosoft Discus gliders collecting dust in my hangar. I hadn't done it since I had FTX NZ scenery. FTX NZ scenery is quite enjoyable for soaring. Since the Aerosoft Discus package only has German and UK flagged repaints, I decided to do some very simple NZ schemes. I went ahead and made the scheme for all the Discus variants; B, BM, BT, and K. If folks are interested, I might do this for US and/or VH registrations too. Submitted to Sim-Outhouse and Avsim for upload. Cheers TJ

hello, while flying over pyramid lake, nevada, I spotted what seems to be a man-made whirlpool drawn by a motorboat

Once i landed at YSSY, and parked the Scout, i decided to wander the airport and do some planespotting. Here are the results.

Hi all, Alan Fletcher has very kindly allowed me access to his freeware Cessna Wide 2D Panel project for X-Plane and has given me permission to post up some screenshots before it gets released in the not too distant future. This is an INCREDIBLE, well produced high resolution 2d panel, that includes a slick tabbed interface on the left hand side for quick access to checklists and flight conditions. It makes me reminisce of the Fly! cockpit 2d panels produced some years ago. The panel has some superb sounds included as well as some nice features such as a 2d propeller, flight planner, throttle and mixture animations, windscreen icing effect among others. Hopefully, if …

Thought I'd share some Wings of Prey screenshots here. I don't like flying in combat, but I love flying and this sim allows free flight over some beautiful countryside at amazing framerates given the detail of the scenery. I enjoy flying this sim, even if the areas one can fly over are limited. I hope you enjoy my screenshots. John

Never thought I'd see this happen while landing before. Not good. Needless to say that JFK traffic was stopped for a while while a tug was sent out to tow this Boeing 747-200B off the runway.

After emergency landing... IMHO Captain Sim did great job, love those details.

Ive since adjusted the size of my pics...so lets give this a second try. This time I am flying a DC-3 freighter. Running Windows 8 Pro, No probs whatsoever with it. FSX runs better than it did in Win7. Active Sky SP2 Beta 6 is being used for weather textures and the weather engine. I use windowed mode due to i have 2 monitors. The other monitor runs FSCommander or Aivlasofts EFB. AI Ship Traffic In the English Channel View from the cockpit, Approaching Calais, France Unloading some freight at Calais (LFAC) In my eyes, still the most beautiful plane ever to grace the skies... So I'm not even sure how this resulted, but my friend ended up taking over my Boeing 777-200ER doing things that you don't do in a passenger jet. So what can I do? Well, there's only one thing I can do in a situation like this. SCRAMBLE THE F-16s!!!! I took off and went full speed to try to find this thing. Well, I did, but what's this? Is he out of his mind? 270 poor passengers, eight flight attendants, and two pilots on that plane. No, this is not good. I'd inadvertently flown past him, so I did a rapid climb, then a descent before flying around in circles trying to find this thing. Now where is that Triple Seven....

Yesterday, my friend and I were flying from Portland down to San Francisco when I later decided that I would escort myself to San Francisco. Sadly, I really did manage to do that. Lined up on runway 10 right. Pay no attention to the F-16 that's outside the right window. F-16 is far out over there. Here's the F-16 now. Decided to fly yet another old jet to see how well I'd do with it. This is the Boeing 747-200B flying from Chicago O'Hare to JFK. Heading out to gate C20 where the aircraft is parked, we discover that....it is STILL snowing. Ugh. Holding short of runway 4 left as we make our final checks. Airborne. Cruising along at flight level 390. On approach to JFK on the LENDY 6 arrival....or something close to it, anyway. Without an FMC, I can't actually type that in. Here we are flying past the George Washington Bridge....and I'm not paying the toll. Um....we can't see.... Now to crank out the autoland....and see how well it works. Touchdown…
