The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Hi everyone, Going to share some pictures I took of today's flight from Dubai to Nairobi with real time and weather. This routing (EK719) is generally flown with an Airbus A340-500 but seeing as there aren't any decent A340-500's on the market just yet (the CLS one isn't to my liking), I decided to switch equipment to a trusty old Emirates 777-300. View from DXB Ramp EK241 off to Toronto... Airport Overview Passenger view shortly after rotation Farewell Dubai Cruising along somewhere above Somalia Top of descent The 773 is such a gorgeous bird, indeed the entire family is good looking Everything down as we're on finals …

Some captured images taken over southern Michigan and northern Ohio this afternoon as today's strong weather system moves into the area ahead of a sharp cold front. Textures courtesy of REX E+. Weather engine courtesy of FSX. Aircraft is N3411F, my Cessna C340 II. Shots taken at 8,000 ft. Multiple cloud layers with shearing of the mid level clouds due to strong winds aloft above 10,000 ft. Later, breaking into an opening from total IFR as the C340, heading southeast, chases down the leading edge of the storm. Out of the IFR conditions ahead of the storm, with only a broken layer of cumulus below. A rare spring-like appearance in winter followi…

Leaving Hong Kong International (VHHH) with the Captain Sim Boeing 777-200ER GE in Air New Zealands upcoming new livery. Many people seem to dislike the choice for the black tail and no pacific wave up front anymore, I kinda like the minimalism and the new font goes pretty well with it. 1. ATC changed their mind from "Line up 07L and wait" to "Hold short 07L, traffic is 747 on final".... Luckily I wasn't on the runway yet, but still an incursion. 2. And here's the culprit... 3. Autopilot on at 3000ft as we head towards the city of Hong Kong 4. The new tail in it's simplicity 5. Captain Sim has made some of the best Virtual Cockpits in the past,…
