The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Here are a few shots I took on my latest flight using Airbus X Extended: At the gate in Paris (CDG/LFPG) Turning onto RWY 08L V1... ROTATE! Arrival in Moscow-Sheremetyevo Parked at the gate, view from the left side window. *Please note, my computer is definitely under-average, so high quality sceneries cannot be ran with my CPU, so, sorry if these images are "under-average" I just like to take them!

My Trip around Kauai Hawaii in Microsoft Flight In the fabulous Avsim RV-6 Begins at Lihue Airport, followed by a quick turn towards...... The mountains. These mountains are some of the most breathtaking features in flights Hawaii, and its too bad that those with only the basic package miss seeing them. Approaching a bridge, the plane bobs and shimmies in the wind. The air has just a slight touch of haze today. Over the ridge, a steep, steep drop stretches out below. Watch that first step.......... Flight draws the sides of mountains in a way that avoids stretched textures, and the effect is very realistic. In Hawaii, the volcanic geology is es…

I'm not sure what to call this thread, because its 2 entirely different kinds of flying, but here is the Alabeo C188 and the BK117 Helicopter. I have a sweet spot of helicopters, and this one is modeled very well. In flying the C188, I wonder what effect these chemicals must have on the pilots? I don't think, id want to do this for real, but its fun virtually. Rob
