The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Some images from a Baron B55 flight yesterday, flying east from daylight into dusk at 11,000 ft over central North Carolina and eastern Virginia just hours after the passage of a cold front with the sun setting behind off my left shoulder. Made for some interesting views. And how do you like that pair of crossed contrails at 11 o'clock in the sky?

I wasn't exactly sure whether this thread belongs here or not, so please forgive me if it does not, move it to the correct sub-forum. I currently have a single screen display setup @ 1920x1200 and I'm trying to think on how it's possible to make panoramic shots. Of course with 3-screens all you have to do is press that print-screen button and hurray! You have a nice panoramic shot. Since this is not the case, I need a workaround. Anyone knows of an add-on that could maybe help stitch shots on-the-fly? I found a webpage from 2008 where some guy did this and came up with some cool interactive QTVRs, here's an example: http://attachments.wetpaintserv.us/tMAB7ou6hak…

I was scorching the web for some quality sceneries when I stumbled upon this amazing project from 2006. It began with FS2004 and was updated for FSX. 600mb of very high quality and absolutely free, scenery of the Canary Islands in Spain. Cover picture looked promising: Download: http://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/7670/fsx-project-canary-2006-scenery/ * You must use a download manager or else the download fails very often, forcing you to restart. I recommend Flashget or the likes. That's the only place on the web I could find this scenery. I also found a download in 3 pieces, but it appeared to be an older version or something. Not 100% sure. Feel fre…

Hello folks, Back in August 2010 I started a thread called Pick and Mix - Part 1, with the intention of picking and showing 10 of my personal favorite screen shots taken during recent & past FSX sessions, covering various aircraft, locations and view angles. Since then, every few months or so, I added another Pick and Mix part, the last one being part 8 back in May of last year. I thought it was high time to catch up a little and instead of just posting 10 shots, here are 20 of my personal favorite pick and mix selections. Most of these screen shots I have had stored for a while but never seen the light of day and they have been waiting for an audience to enjoy th…

Great looking heli.. didn't find any screenies that do it justice (not even the maker's) so made my own set. Btw, none of my screenies are edited, they have Sweetfx 1.4 and are down sized (free flickr account doesn't allow fhd anyway):

While taking a break from Q400 flying, I did a couple of milk runs out w Ketchikan with the NGX. The Alaskan dawn combined with a nice overcast just looked too good not to take up. Enjoy!
