The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Sitting in the queue for take off from Narita in my PMDG QOTS 744F. I saw a lot of these birds in Narita and Hong Kong (as well as air hongkong 744F's similarly liveried) when I was there IRL a month ago. I work for DHL, so these please me when I see them live. This repaint is my own work derived from the PMDG paint kit. This is FS9 BTW.

  10. Mall of America built shots at different angles First enclosed mall in world opened in 1956 edina got to when it cold out in da winter No, date of release on it, but built some downtown St.Paul and Minneapolis buildings. Figure X-plane 10 needs some landmarks like fsx had, and the scenery Xplane works real well with some midwestern cities like Minneapolis and Chicago might as well take advantage of it.

This is a little project I've been working on for FSX. It seemed like there was a big hole in the ORBX coverage on the way to Portland over Salem (Oregon, of course) with the default airport down there, so I set about fixing it. The result has seasonally edited photo textures and I designed it so the blend mask cuts off the photo scenery right at the perimeter road. For the most part, it does exactly that: Here's a view of the tower and terminal: I created several of the buildings and many of those are also in the Google Earth 3d Buildings Layer. Other buildings were already modeled and I converted them to FSX model format. Some buildings are a hybrid, t…

Because the main purpose of flight simulation is to pilot hovercrafts and captain boats! Enjoy this set! A break from my usual sets of 'aviation' shots. Using CIRP and RTMM scenery for PFJ from Return to Misty Moorings. Ready for departure! Turnin' round. Finally on our way. These two don't seem to interested in me! :( At our destination! Woo! Along the wharf. Powering on our 'fan' (With Accu-Feel 2.0 ALS, this was one heck of an immersive experience - bouncing along the waves, water sounds etc.) Awesome boat! Lovely resort house! DOLPHINS! TURN! That's the end folks, hope you enjoyed it! Thanks for viewing.

Here are some images of today's flight between Fort Lauderdale-KFLL to San Juan-TJSJ Pushback from Gate 23, which didn't have a jetway! View from the right side of the aircraft in a coach seat. Positive rate... GEAR UP! Just above the clouds, rolling to the right in accordance with the SID. The view out of that right side window again on the right turn. What's that I see out my window? Puerto Rico and the aircraft now in view. Turning onto the runway heading - view outside of the Captain's window. Taxiing to our gate. Parked at our gate at a seemingly empty airport.
