The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Still very slowly adding things into Prepar3Dv2.. Today I introduced Ants Eaglet and REX clouds to the sim for a day or so of testing.. If sometihng is unstable I want to know exactly what is it.. Hence adding only a thing or two at a time and resting on it for a few days.

  4. ah...a picture is worth a thousand words...so here are a few thousand, just after taking off today... Typo: Carenado, sorry... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post Edit: Wow...first time ever seen, ....as I was coming down through cloud bases (as seen in pics), towards my turn-to-final, I started to collect dew and moisture upon all windows...have never seen this modeled before. What an amazing tie-in immersion to what I was doing! If this is only a feature of the Carenado C90B...then that might explain why I haven't seen this before with my usage of XPX. …

Just a few pics. Sometimes, when the weather, lighting, and time is just right, I get those great wow moments in FS9. When that happens, I whip out Fraps and grab a shot. Here are a few from my latest ones.

  8. Raising the stakes a little this time, with FSDT installed on both ends and the QW757 as our chariot. You can follow along here. PLEASE NOTE: I am externally limiting to 30 FPS. Hey at least it's not snowing in SoCal today: I still think 4096 looks weird, almost too much detail. ...and we're off...

Great plane, fantastic model, sounds and cockpit lighting. The plane pictured here is using the SP77 autopilot and is flying south for the winter!
