Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Just thought I'd share some more of my passion for flying museums I really enjoy this wonderful swan of an aircraft. It was highly futuristic back in the 50s and 60s when she was being planned and built. She is of course an old lady today, and very (!) different to manage than modern liners. I didn't fly her for a while, but discovering the pleasures of managing the fuel on my own during the flight really makes a 3 hour flight go by in no time at all. She has an intricate system of 13 fuel tanks and a major part of it all is to manage the fuel flow between these tanks during flight. Well, enough of my ramblings. I hope you enjoyed some of the screenies I took lately. An…

Actually, I had planned to go skiing yesterday, but since it rained all day, I explored the Alps in the sim instead. These pictures are from a little tour from Zeltweg Airforce Base (LOXZ) to Linz (LOWL): Thanks for viewing!

Below are some shots I took over the past few days. I gave P3Dv2 a second chance last week, after having removed it from my system, early december. I had it installed back then for 2 days, after which I hungered for a stable sim and returned to FSX. But, hey it's a new year so I give it a new start ^_^ ***HOPE YOU CAN SEE THE IMAGES, THEY ARE HOSTED ON MY SKYDRIVE BUT SHOULD BE SHARED TO THE PUBLIC*** Can't recall where this was taken, but I like the fog in the valleys. Early morning departure. A320 backtracking RWY26@LOWI for it's flight to Brussels. Twin Otter on a short hop from Spa to Liege. About to overfly the city at the river Meuse The A2A C172 o…

Playing with P3Dv2's volumetric fog is such a treat... atmospheric environment heaven  It can add subtlety, or drama to any flight.

Well, not exactly. It was a Cherokee 140, not an Archer. And the Costa Rican registration needs to morph into an N number. But after more than 15 years of flight simming, I've finally found the actual paint scheme! Another nice TI- registration. (Credit Luis Jimenez Trejos for both repaints) And to finish: some ATR action... John

I have some pictures here of a recent flight I did, WestJet 2884 from Montreal to St Maarten. Save for a couple of FSX crashes, slewing and some rather low FPS, it went relatively well. It was the first time I saw the snow in REX4 (not that there's any change), and the sky colours were magnificent. Join me as we recall the flight in the 737-800 to the land of low approaches! The OFP is attached below (PFPX) _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Starting our flight, right after pushback from gate 55 at Montreal and waiting for the all clear from the ground a…

After getting the instruction from ATC on an ILS approach in the shot to "follow" with no one in front of me I pause and went outside for a look. The second shot is something a light twin pilot would never want to see. Can I get a "Go Around"

A flight from Tagoror to Tenerife. Tago... what??? You never heard of Tagoror? Me too, until today. It's a small (fictional) archipelago northeast of Tenerife - but only in X-Plane. Starting on rwy 17 Not a very big island, but nicely done ... There are also some uninhabited rocks out there in the scenery Tenerife with the highest mountain in Spain (Teide) in sight. The last eruption of the volcano was in 1909. Before long the ILS needle will deflect. Below the ferry from Tenerife to La Palma. Approach Landed ... If you liked the scenery of Tagoror - you can download it here…

This game got off to a very rough start and was not very good at all when it first came out 2yrs ago. I played it a few times and put it away for another day. However, a group of fans (Team Fusion) developed a mod for this game that improves on it in every aspect and turned it from a frog to a prince! Its really a lot of fun now, Planes fly great. Stalls, spins, great graphics, lots of action. Every area has been improved. Rob

Just sit back and enjoy this flight and notice the water reflections after landing: I did take off with my wheels down (onest injun): You will get better reflection in the water by just switching off aircraft shadow in settings. Don't forget to reset again when you switch back to wheeled type.. Aerosoft + ORBX PNW + REX2 real world weather..
