Wells folks after many many years of tweaking and enjoying FS9 i eventually took the leap and got my FSX campaign off and running. Ive spent days over the holidays tweaking this and im very pleased so far. Nice n smooth all the way. FS9 however will always remain on my HDD. Rather like the concorde at MAN, ready and waiting to return to service :-) Thanks Al

Here's some shots of FTX Global Vector running on my system. Hopefully you can get an idea of what to expect. I've picked various areas that I have travelled to in real life and so am perhaps a little familiar with, as well as ones that are well off the beaten path of FS scenery developers. All these shots were taken with FTX Global Vector running alongside FTX Global textures, FS Global Ultra terrain mesh and Scenery Tech Landclass. Sky/cloud/water textures are from REX4. Being a cold miserable evening, I decided to take a Greek island hop from Karpathos to Rhodes at sunset. It was cloudy and quite bumpy, but the sun through the clouds made for some nice screenshot moments I went on holiday this area a few years ago, and was able to pick out places I recognised, even our hotel was there in the OSM scenery :-)

For FedEx...........FRIEGHT!!!! Sadly,FedEx retired their remaining B727F from their fleet this year.I used to see her around the holiday's in the very early hours of the morning ...breaking out of the clouds on final to Chicago's KORD. I'm going to miss seeing those gentle swept back wings, and the beautiful sleek lines of this Work Horse. I Wish all you Flight Sim Enthusiasts A very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! :biggrin:
