The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Rare space sim shots in the SS forum! Been dedicating a lot of time to KSP 64bit in Linux. Just recently installed RealSolarSystem mod using 8196x4096 textures and testing it.. Executable eats up about 6.5GB of RAM with these textures. What this mod does is transform the vanilla 1/10th scale solar system and into a full scale version. Small tour of some of the universe.

  13. Just wanted to share the following screenshots with a friend so I'm posting them here. Enjoy! On stand D12 at KBP. Engines running... On my way to 36R. lining up. Takeoff! On the KR 1L SID. climbing... Some traffic over Portugal. On the INBO 4A STAR for runway 03. Short final RWY 03. I think I should get some scenery for LIS since I really enjoyed that route. Cheers

This is IL-2 Battle of Stalingrad and both graphically and flight psychics wise it puts everything else to same and its still just in beta. Amazingly its all rendered in DX9. Its made by the folks who made rise of flight I can honestly say its the best combat sim I've ever played. Its no arcade shooter like war thunder. I urge you to give it a try it'll be the best $55 you've spent in a very long time.Performance wise its amazing smooth as butter even at Ultra settings and it supports oculus rift and will easily hit the 60FPS needed for it on a decent system. The little details are the best enjoy the pics below. \ Note the burst of flame from the Exhaust also r…

  18. Hi folks. Thought I'd do a comparison between UTX Europe and the new FTX products namely OpenLC EU. Until now I'd been pretty happy with UTX Europe with FTX Global particularly as I tend to fly the 737NGX + Dash 8 but nevertheless after an upgrade itch I decided to get hold of Vector and OpenLC. I chose a variety of areas, Nice Cote Azur, LSZS in the Alps, and two completely random areas in Norway and Holland. Done in FSX (DX9) with SweetFX. Completely unedited but resized. Decide for yourselves! However, personally for me the LSZS shot actually looks better with UTX rather than the new stuff (even without FS Global 2010) but LFMN does look ever so slightly b…

I am creating Wyoming and the project has been underway for the past couple of days--the northern half of Wyoming is complete. Enjoy, John

Hi all! I've been a member for quite sometime but never posted in the forums. Time to change that! Another MetroAir pilot and I played a little follow the leader up to Montreal this afternoon. We had VATSIM ATC on both ends of the flight and some interesting weather coming in to CYUL! Scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the afternoon in Montreal Lots of activity on the ground! MET1511 is putting his E170 down with a greaser. For some reason he was showing up as an A320 on my end. Gear coming down with a great view of the Olympic stadium. Almost there! Inches now... Parked next to Alex. Some ni…
