The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Just a few shots of the short hop from Warsaw to Birmingham( UK)...Very eventful weather on approach ASN brings the best depiction there is...Very Impressed - the 777 was being tossed all over the place on approach, with thunderstorms in the area, and was quite a bumpy landing...Enjoy Nice and sunny lined up on RW33 ready to go.. Airborne.. Turning on the LOLS5A SID Heavy rain in the upper cloud layers Traffic a 9 o' Clock.. Clear of traffic.. Virgin A343 Given vectors for the Intercept ....and the mood of the clouds has changed... Even more grey with Thunderstorms on approach.. On Approach…

Here's a really spectacular part of the world that has been pretty much totally ignored by the flight sim community. It's the Adriatic coastline of the former Yugoslavia between Dubrovnik (Croatia) and Tivat (Montenegro). The scenery is Simheaven ZL17 photoscenery, with World2XPlane over the top, and the LDDU Dubrovnik and LYTV Tivat airport sceneries are from X-Plane.org Just to reiterate, this scenery is all freeware, and you can cover all of Europe to this level. It's accurate enough that I was actually able to pick out the 3D model of the apartment we stayed in when I had a holiday in Herceg Novi in 2008. It speaks volumes about the XP community that this stuf…

OK....I know....another silly pun, but it does fit this screenshot. There is still a lot of work before I even release to the check airmen...its the metal....very hard to get just right! Just thought I'd throw a quick preview up. Still working on real life stuff too, so there's that.

I'm very happy with P3D so far. I've had it for about 3 weeks now. I decided to get a few new add-ons to compliment the sim. Perfect timing too as I was able to get a bunch of FTX regions for cheap, and a few planes in the 4th of July ( :American Flag: ) sales this week Please enjoy the screenshots ^_^ Here is today's departure. I got KDEN and KPHX in the FlightBeam sale, well worth it. Also, most of ye probably missed it, but McPhat had a 48% off sale on the 4th, so I picked up the SD livery pack and flight decks for the DC-9. These were extremely worth the money Thanks for viewing my pictures. Please feel f…

She should be delivering packages for your virtual UPS soon! I can tell you I spent more time finding the font and trying to find that goofy "g" they use in the word synchronizing than I did painting the rest of the plane! For all you painters out there who want to use the accurate font for UPS, its called "Dax." The letter g is something you'll have to modify off another font...the name of that one escapes me but its a common font you should already have. I can't tell you how many UPS paints out there have the wrong font....I think even my 727 and A300 do too...but I painted them years ago! Hehe I put a ton of detail into the Empennage (the fancy nam…

A small Welsh village in the hills overlooking the sea, maybe we can land and have a pint (alcohol free, don't drink and fly) in the village pub  HD Mesh v2 really brings out the detail in the quarries here. All the Brits escaping in their Caravans into the hills , if it's tagged in OSM, it will be used This is X-Plane 10.30b5 with lighting mods, Simheaven ZL17 photoscenery + HD Mesh v2, World2XPlane 0.5.1 (Unreleased, with huge new UK/IE region set).
