Here's a really spectacular part of the world that has been pretty much totally ignored by the flight sim community. It's the Adriatic coastline of the former Yugoslavia between Dubrovnik (Croatia) and Tivat (Montenegro). The scenery is Simheaven ZL17 photoscenery, with World2XPlane over the top, and the LDDU Dubrovnik and LYTV Tivat airport sceneries are from X-Plane.org Just to reiterate, this scenery is all freeware, and you can cover all of Europe to this level. It's accurate enough that I was actually able to pick out the 3D model of the apartment we stayed in when I had a holiday in Herceg Novi in 2008. I'm very happy with P3D so far. I've had it for about 3 weeks now. I decided to get a few new add-ons to compliment the sim. I can tell you I spent more time finding the font and trying to find that goofy "g" they use in the word synchronizing than I did painting the rest of the plane! For all you painters out there who want to use the accurate font for UPS, its called "Dax." The letter g is something you'll have to modify off another font...the name of that one escapes me but its a common font you should already have. I can't tell you how many UPS paints out there have the wrong font....I think even my 727 and A300 do too...but I painted them years ago! A small Welsh village in the hills overlooking the sea, maybe we can land and have a pint (alcohol free, don't drink and fly) in the village pub :smile: HD Mesh v2 really brings out the detail in the quarries here. All the Brits escaping in their Caravans into the hills :smile:, if it's tagged in OSM, it will be used This is X-Plane 10.30b5 with lighting mods, Simheaven ZL17 photoscenery + HD Mesh v2, World2XPlane 0.5.1 (Unreleased, with huge new UK/IE region set).

Flying around just gets crazy with such view. The original res is 5760x1080.

Just installed and tested them... amazing!!!!! See yourself :-) Flying around gives you a better feeling of being in the air.... :-) Not as much as OR of course, but way better than one little screen...
