The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Design work began in 1947. From the drawing boards of Roy Chadwick and Stuart Davies - designers of the Lancaster. First flew in 1952. Entered service in 1956. Held the record for the longest distance bombing raid - a total distance of 7,778 miles - from 1982-2003. Retired from service in 1984. The nuclear bomber that handled like a fighter. Named after the Roman god of fire. The Avro Type 698... better known as the Vulcan An extraordinary aircraft flown by extraordinary crews. Famous of course for the Black Buck raids in 1982, but less well known are its exploits at Red Flag and its successful penetration of US airspace during Oper…

It's great having an LSA reminiscent of the Allegro I took lessons in. Combine it with what FSEarthtiles can do, and it is as "Real as it gets".... Those of you who know Utah will recognize the area around Provo, where my flight originated from. Enjoy John (And happy Father's Day to all of us simmers in that category)

I enjoyed taking these pics on a flight from Weed, CA to Reno, NV. The route of flight took me past Mt. Shasta and Mt. Lassen. I still enjoy the Malibu so much--it opens up city pairs that fall between the heavy iron and the slower single engine aircraft, and one can experience the scenery changing on a short one or two hour flight. I generated the scenery with FSEarthTiles, and the hotels in Reno are available from by download from Avsim's Library -- just search "Reno Hotels and Casinos". They were done by Mach 1 design group. Enjoy John
