The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

I'm a little late to the game with this, but didn't have much time to devote to simming lately, but I just got a chance to install Skymaxx for XPX. It really does a lot to enhance the clouds in X-plane 10. These shots are somewhere around Washington. The cockpit shots are in a C90 and the outside view is Carenado's Caravan. Rob

Beautiful sights--San Diego and Sea World, the Salton Sea, Colorado River, and Metro Phoenix with Camelback mountain named because it resembles a sleeping camel perhaps (and thirsty one, since it is summer here now). I've been busy creating new photo scenery which now stretches from Eastern Colorado to San Diego in the southwest and to parts of Oregon in the Northwest. Will I ever upload it? Probably, once I organize it by State--Colorado is already in Avsim's library. John

Right, so things have been a little quiet over at Project Airbus for a while.. 'till now that is. Nick Loh decided to take on the task of adding Sharklets to our A320 series. They'll be made available on the A318 through to the A321.. The Aileron deflection has also been added. Here's a quick look at Air New Zealand's first Sharklet equipped A320 ZK-OXA.

.....no planes, only trains! I don't think I remember seeing anybody post any train sim screenshots here, so just for a change here's some from TS2014. This is the "Coals To Newcastle" scenario, it's on the East Coast Main Line (York to Newcastle) route which is one of the oldest ones in the sim, going back a few years and versions. The scenario is set in the infamous "Winter of Disconent" 1978-79, the task is to drive a BR Class 47 hauling a load of coal from Thrislington to Staithes very early in the winter morning. You can almost feel the cold...

Just took off from VHHH (Hong Kong International) heading towards NZAA (Auckland) on my first long haul in the updated Captain Sim 777. With their version 1.4 they've really brought it up to a decent level. Following their L-1011, I'd say they are on the right track. Still room for improvement, but if you want a long haul aircraft for P3D V2, you might want to have a look at this 777. 1. Just before pushback, making sure the Before Start checks are done and checking the route to the runway on the EFB (we're parked at E3). 2. Holding short 07L, running through the Before Takeoff checks 3. And we are rolling 4. Nice and smooth on the rotation …
