The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

I snapped some quick pics after a quick takeoff and mess around with the new plane. I'm very impressed so far! The taxi cam is great, but beware as your frames will slow to a crawl. They have included separate views, from the taxi cam, which are better to use in my opinion performance wise. The price is very reasonable too. Enjoy!

Thought I would do a long haul type of flight with the PMDG B777-300ER today. Loaded up the Emirates 1000th 777 repaint and departed from Dubai to London Gatwick. I have to say, I saw quite a few 777s out and about at Dubai on the VATSIM network which was great to see. If you was one of them who was around that area earlier on this morning. If you saw UAE93 on your travels then that was me. Getting ready to push back from the gate at Dubai Pushing back from the gate while another Emirates 777 takes off into the skies on VATSIM See you real soon Dubai! Cruising... Loving the weather radar in the PMDG 777 now A numbe…

Sorry guys...painting so many freighters it's hard to keep track of them all! Anyway, like the FedEx brand slogan says...this one will fit the bill...Sunday delivery even (well...that is up to the Library mods. ) This is Steve's workshop.... And since this one is in rapid development, it may not qualify for the Check Airman program. By the time I send out the contracts, wait for the certified return receipt, deliver the airframe...it may already be in the library. We'll see.

Seeing as PMDG have released the 777-300ER last night I thought I would do a quick flight in the new release. I did a short flight from Manchester to Vienna, departing Manchester in rainy conditions. Here is the shot of the weather radar they have added - This was on the ground was setting up the aircraft for the flight: Take Off Flying through the clouds Very hard to see the aircraft - No editing, just Active Sky Next doing it's job! Finally out of the clouds! Descending closer to Vienna On the ground at the Vienna

When I titled this post, I did think about how many people would think it was a screenshot comparing the hours-old 777-300 release to the puny -200 (never thought I'd refer to a 777 as puny, hehe). Well...its actually between a 77F and 757F of the same company. Clearly shows just how massive the 777 is. Nobody who stood up close to a 757 would call her "small"! Dawn at KLAS...ready for a flight on my UPS paint.

Just wanted to post one of my favorite European places and show how it now looks before and after in Europe OpenLC. Hopefully, others will post areas they are fond of so we can get an idea of the strengths, weaknesses and identify nice places to fly. Anyway, back when I got Global ( a couple of months after it came out), I did a small bit of flying in Europe. (I've never been there IRL so you know.) One flight was from southern Germany to Cote d'Azur (LFMN). I approached the airport from the mountains from the northeast and, as I was turning final, over the mountains, I looked down along the sides of mountains and coast and was like...woh. I have to imagine that…

I'd like to welcome Daniel Halpern back after waaay too long away from this great hobby. I too took some time off, but instead of yakking about that, let me show you what Daniel's metal looks like: He and I co-painted this one. He did the metal and I did the Comair livery. He's a metal master I'm tellin ya guys. And this one he'll surely recognize: He should, he painted it. Thanks for coming back Daniel...now get busy and help me paint!

Ok Guys loading up this bird now to avsim - side note there is a problem with the models mapping and the door graphic gets cut off and a strip of area from the from the front of the wing to the back of the wing where the door gets cut off there is a perfect color match problem I have done the best I can with it as it will change depending on the time of day and nothing I can do about it - I have opted to move the middle doors back a bit but now if you open those doors they will not line up with the graphic As I do not open the middle doors I have opted for this choice and thats the way it will stay unless CS can address this issue - thanks
