The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Just Arrive back into the hub with a lot of PAX so decided to go out on the ramp to take a look to see how the aircraft is doing and sneak a photo. Btw this is my AmeriCay Paint, hand painted and here are the other photos. This N215AC "Miami Vice" for our Miami Hub. N350AC "Hotlanta" for Our Atlanta Hub. Quote MultiQuote

I wish I could be like Mitch and say this was the most peaceful, serene, surreal, and incredible flight I've made to date but to be honest I was nearly loading my drawers the entire flight! You'll notice these are mostly shots while parked on the ramp, lol. Milford Sound to Christchurch, AS Evo weather, heavy cloud layer +RA between 5000' and 15,000', unfamiliar airplane, and I haven't spent much time in NZ so pretty much unfamiliar territory too. I made it but it wasn't pretty  Love the Metroliner, still have a lot to learn! Thanks to Jon Murchison and www.flightsim.co.nz for the repaint! Jim

Hi there! As promised in the first comparison thread (http://forum.avsim.net/topic/449238-p3d-v23-vs-xpx-1030b8-ksna-to-kcno/), here is a row of pics taken on a pattern flight at Lugano Airport in Switzerland in the late afternoon (5:30pm, August 14th). First, I flew A2A´s Cherokee in P3D v2.3 (FTX Global and REX4 Texture Direct are installed), thereafter Carenado´s Stationair was flown around LSZA in XPX (with OSM Europe + autogen, HD Mesh v2, Treelines and Farms v2, SkyMAXX Pro v2 with all options ckecked, UrbanMAXX 3D, MaxxFX and Dataref Editor). Again, I tried to set the weather to the same values in the manual weather setup of both sims, according to the most rec…

Having completed my first successful* flight in the newly released DCS: Fw 190 D-9, I think it's safe to say that I am already an expert pilot and well on my way to becoming an ace. Herewith the photographic proof. * read: "non-lethal" Beginning the takeoff roll and feelin' good: As I pick up speed, I perform what I like to call the "bicycle takeoff". Deliberately, of course. It's like a wheelie for planes. Once in the air, I fly the runway heading* and set the power to climb. * +/- 15 degrees I vaguely recall a myth about a fellow named Icarus. Can't remember the details. I'm sure it's not important. Ignore those…

Had another couple of nice flights, one with the Malibu and another with a Lear I imported from FS2002. My last screenshot shows the extent of my Western States coverage so far. A part of Socal still needs work, but otherwise my FSEarthtiles project has added photoreal scenery covering a huge area which I will never get tired of flying over. John

Did you eveer see an ancient Japenese woodcut? One of those wonderful prints where a single line can depict the entire scene? Sometimes the scenery and wx gods conspire to give a truly wonderul effect; P3Dv2.2, Active Sky Next, Orbx FTX GlobalVector and GlobalBase, Carenado B200 King Air
