The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Hey everyone, Decided to take a trip to Dublin with one of my favorite aircrafts painted in the colors of my favorite airline, Emirates. It was an uneventful flight with some wonky weather along the way, but for the most part quite fun. A6-EGO did the honors today, but unfortunately in real life the 1000th 777 stickers have long since been removed. Luckily for us in FS, we can still keep said sticker on. As always all screenshots are unedited. Enjoy! No questioning the dominant carrier here: Beautiful tail: Being pushed back: At some point while taxiing to the active, Active Sky decided Dubai wasn't hazy enough so it lowered the visibility for whate…

Yesterday I made a long overdue flight for Buffalo VA (so I wouldn't be struck off the roster, I have been too busy to do any real flying at all !!! lately), taking off in the default DC-3 from CYZF headed for CYCO at first light just before severe weather closed down the airport for VFR, into a beautiful shiny pearly misty wreathed dawn sky. This is why I love flightsimming ... The rest of the flight was rather choppy and I had to slam down hard due to crosswinds (or lack of practice) Sascha

Hi there! With the release of the fantastic v2.3 patch for P3D, and the updates for SkyMAXX Pro to v2.0 and the new beta patch for X-Plane 10.30, I thought, I´d do a little comparison flight. I took a flight from KSNA to KCNO in the outstanding A2A Cherokee in P3D, and after that, I flew Carenado´s superb XPX release, the new Stationair, on the same route in X-Plane 10. I tried to set the weather parameters more or less equally in both sims. The date and time of day had been set to the exact same figures as well. (August, 13th, 9:45 am local time) The other following addons were used in the sims: P3D: Orbx FTX Global, REX4 Texture Direct HD XPX: OSM North Amer…
