The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

I promised myself to NOT take and post screenshots anymore because they never ever give me that feeling I get when I am flying... You have to see it in motion, with the right monitor and setup (I btw use the MagicBright Game preset on my Samsung monitor when flying, with HDR on), to really appreciate the wonders that GloVectOLC and P3D 2.3 are creating on my monitor... But I just can't help myself: I simply HAVE to post a few shots here. These screenshots show the wonders of P3D's popfree autogen in combination with GloVectOLC's marvelous autogen, and the great mood the cloud shadows give you... Again, you should see it in motion. Jaw dropping. Gorgeous. Incredible. Indes…

Canadian Xpress® was established on April 1st 2009 and was officially launched on September 4th 2009. As part of the ongoing celebrations leading up to the 4th of September, we held our August Fly-In at 2 different times of the day so that all pilots that are located world-wide could celebrate this historic event. Our 5th Anniversary Fly-In was held on Saturday, August 23rd at 10h00edt (14h00z) and 20h00edt (24h00z) where we flew from our training center in Moncton Airport (CYQM) to our corporate offices in Montreal (CYUL). Loading up passengers at Moncton (CYQM). Taxiing. Holding short of runway 06 for a departing C750. Taking off roll on runw…

Just testing some new parts ^_^ In the next few shots of the TD&E maneuvers, Apollo nerds like me will no doubt notice that the SLA panels are not jettisoned as they would be for an actual lunar mission. Apollo 7 did fly with an SLA like shown below, and the rendezvous practice they performed cemented the decision to redesign the SLA to jettison the panels away from the spacecraft for future missions. In fact, one of the panels did fail to fully deploy. Both are available for KSP, I just think this one looks better Thanks for looking

Hi all - After lurking on these forums for longer than I'm prepared to admit, I finally got round to making my first post (http://forum.avsim.net/topic/450133-my-love-affair-with-a-cherokee/) in which I nattered on nostalgically for a bit and declared my love for the A2A Cherokee. Though I'd follow up with some screenshots of repaints for my baby which I'm gradually uploading to the Avsim library (though they've been on A2A's forums for a bit)... G-AVSE, the first repaint I attempted and based on a real UK-based PA28-180C N5809W - the real example is very smart and registered in California. This one's cheating a bit, as it's based on a 235B mo…

Heya folks, I was longing to get back in a thoroughbred after a while of flying the more mundane GA types. Here is the A2A Spitfire IA dressed up as an unarmed pre-production model. I took off from New Plymouth and had a dance with the Spitfire. Enjoy Cheers TJ

After being on the fence about it for a while, I recently broke down and bought Rise of Flight: Channel Battles Edition on Steam. Having (almost) completed the training campaign (turns out I'm total garbage at bombing...), I decided to cut my teeth in a few quick mission skirmishes. Herewith the results: First engagement: Well, that didn't go according to plan... Take two: time to dance with some SPADs! Bit of a close call with some errant debris: "I have you now!" First proper victory! I decide to check out an Allied plane and try my hand against some two-seaters. Turns out I massively unde…
