The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Enjoying a flight over where I spent much of my life and where I first had a chance to try the controls of a C172. The last shot is part of my auto/aircraft diecast collection. It's a finely detailed model of a C172 by GeminiWings. I got it on Amazon.com--it's the only quality diecast model of a C172 I ever found. It's a 1/72 scale diecast model. I used a backdrop to add a bit of ambiance to the picture. The two shots with the running track (#3 and #4) are of my old H.S. campus where I graduated from 35 years ago. I had a chance to drive there last year and sat outside the campus admin building just enjoying all the great memories I had there. I made so many fr…

Hello my friends A new set of photos of my latest flight, this time between Norway and Ireland. I love the beautiful colours and the dramatic landscape in the green island, so there will definitely be more flights to Ireland  . I have almost completed the whole Ireland photoreal, just some parts in the central west coast left to be done..then my next flight will go to Kerry and later on to Shannon.

The below areas were all but empty in OpenStreetMap a few months ago and looked pretty flat and lifeless when converted to X-Plane. I regenerated the area recently after seeing lots of editing activity, and the results are great and instantly recognisable with the real life areas. I hope the above will encourage people to update their areas in OpenStreetMap

Caved and picked up OTHH from Taxi2Gate. I absolutely adore it! Did a long-ish flight down to Singapore, departed around the same time as the real QTR940, and beat it by 30 minutes. Enjoy the shots! No en-route pictures I'm afraid, was busy working while she cruised along... 7H40M on the clock! An SIA2 popped up next to me as I was running the shutdowns, I remember doing this flight a while ago.. Anyway, VATSIM was great, had Singapore Center on for the arrival.. -- Hope you lot enjoyed these shots. Tomorrow I'll be doing Mumbai - Doha - London, look out for the shots
